"ARGHHH!! WE WERE SO CLOSE OF HITTING THE HIGH SCORE!!" one of the team 8 members exclaimed, he was annoyed because the current time record is 7 minutes and 34 seconds which they almost beat, but Zero didn't care about it. He needed to beat it before 4 minutes anyway so any other record after 4 minutes doesn't matter to Zero.
"They are amazing huh?" Isabela murmured.
"They lost a lot of time in finding the tools, they were trying to find tools that weren't even needed to craft a raft," Lucas replied
Max chimed in, "That is true, if they didn't waste so much time in the desert area, I think with their speed they can even reach 6 minutes mark."
"is that.. so.." Camila Ava started to feel nervous.
"Calm down and focus let us not get nervous here" Zero smiled.

"tsk," Zero said, His team member looked confused when they saw him.
the reason why Zero is so annoyed right now is that he knows that he can't rely on his teammates to complete the quest that the system gave him. Even though this is a team challenge Zero thought on his mind that if there is a slight mistake from his team it can be costly to his quest, so Zero decided to purchase potions for his team member but he realizes that the stamina potion is too expensive for all of his group members,
As the commentator's voice resonated through the arena, Zero's thoughts were in overdrive. He was aware that his team members would need stamina potions to keep up with the challenges. However, the cost of providing potions for everyone was steep. With calculated precision, Zero had determined that Lucas would be the one to receive the stamina and strength potion, allowing him to carry the tools efficiently and aid the group.
"but I can spare for one" Zero thought, Zero is looking at Lucas as if Lucas is a very useful tool. he decided that Lucas will be given the stamina and strength potion so he will be able to carry all of the tools on himself, while group 4 can help group 3 build a raft, then leaving zero to carry the logs and woods, and ropes. zero thought his mind is exploding with calculation
As Team 7 embarked on their challenge, Zero's plan began to take shape. He suddenly stood up, his gaze focused on his team members. "I'm going to get some drinks. Anyone want anything?" he asked, his voice masking the underlying intention.
Camila raised an eyebrow, seemingly suspicious of his sudden decision. "I'll take a water, I guess."
Max and Isabella exchanged glances before requesting their preferred drinks, while Elena simply shook her head with a small smile, declining the offer.
Zero turned his attention to Lucas, his voice lowering as he made a request, "Lucas, come help me."
As they stepped away from the group, Zero leaned in slightly. "what do you think about our group?."
Lucas answered. "I think we will do well, if all the members do their part at their best we can probably hit 5 minutes."
Zero answered, "That is true. but I think we can do faster than 5 minutes"
Lucas's eyes widened, "is that really possible? And why do you want to aim faster than 5 minutes? the record is only 7 minutes." Lucas asks looking confused.

"well I guess," Lucas answered then asked, "but how do we do that."
"I'm thinking of changing the roles, I hope that you can find the tools and carry it to the lake section while I alone deal with the logs, woods, and ropes. Do you think you can handle it?" Zero explained.

As Zero and Lucas walked back from the refreshment area, the tension seemed to ease between them. Camila couldn't help but speak up, curiosity evident in his voice. "So, what's really going on, Zero? You seem pretty intense back there."
Zero glanced at Camila, his gaze measuring before he let out a sigh. "It's a bit complicated. I realized a small hole in our strategy." Zero paused, "We need more people building the raft"
Lucas nodded, absorbing Zero's explanation. "So, you're taking some extra measures to make sure things go smoothly."
"Exactly," Zero replied. "that's why I decided to let group 4 help with group 3 crafting the raft While Lucas will be the one finding the tools, and that left me with finding the logs, woods, and ropes."
Max raised an eyebrow, "Are you sure about this Zero? I can understand why you can do this alone since you won the first physical exam but I am not sure about Lucas?"
Zero shrugged, "Don't worry about it, I already checked and it looks like he should do well."
Lucas grinned back. "Well, you can count on me."
Zero said, "Again any mistakes, I will take responsibility and I hope you all trust me with this decision"
With their understanding solidified, Zero distributed the drinks to his teammates.
