The Truth and Justice

Outside ISOA, a woman wearing a face mask covering half of her face was standing. She'd been fidgeting the whole time. A moment later, the gate opened and a teacher went out.

Nikolas eyed the woman, suspicion and distrust could be seen on his eyes. Someone called him last night, saying that she was someone who could help him in the incident involving his student. He didn't want to just believe anyone, but he changed his mind when the caller said that she is the woman in the video.

"Follow me, Please." He ushered.

Joy took a deep breath while clenching her fist in nervousness. Its too late to back out now.

Remembering her agreement with Kang Jun and his instructions last night, she steeled herself and followed Nikolas inside. They didn't stop walking until they reached the Guidance Office.

When they entered the room, Joy found out that there are a lot of teachers in the office, along with a student and who she thought might be parents of the student. The room was quiet and tense that Joy even became more nervous. Her palms became sweaty while her eyes darted around, looking for someone.

She didn't find Kang Jun. Although she expected it, she was still disappointed. Then she remembered one of Kang Jun's condition: No one must know about their agreement.

Nikolas coughed. Then he spoke to her.

"Let's all get to the point. Miss Joy, please tell them what you told me on the phone."

Joy proceeded to remove her cap and her face mask. "I am the woman in that video."

She narrated how a girl approached her, offering a huge sum of money, just to film a video where she doesn't have to show her face clearly. She then omitted the part where she met Kang Jun, only telling the teachers that she only found out what happened because she heard it from someone.

"I never knew that the video we filmed would be used like that. I never intended it to be harmful to anyone.. That's why I'm here. I want to clear the victim's name and punish who should be punished."

When Joy finished talking, the whole room was quite. Then, Hannah's mother bursted out crying.

She walked to Joy and took her hand while crying. "Thank you. Thank you for coming out." She repeatedly thank her, her heart full of nothing but relief and gratitude.

Nikolas stepped forward, interrupting their somewhat dramatic moment. "Do you remember who paid you for that? Could you describe that person?"

He can understand Hannah's mother but they are in hurry to clear the school accident. The investigation has been going on for a week, they have to clear it before it reaches the Board of Education. Its something that the school was avoiding no matter what.

Joy racked her brain for details. "From what I can remember, its a girl. She was with a guy but its her who talked to me. Now that I think about it, that girl is quite young. Probably a high school student too but Im not so sure about that. She's also pretty."

The teachers all looked to each other, not sure if they should believe everything.

"I know you might not believe me but its true. What would I even get by coming here? Why would I lie?" She took out her phone. "I even took a picture of that girl while she was not looking."

With that sentence, everyone reacted. It was Nikolas who spoke.

"Show us."

INSIDE the class 3-A, everyone was quietly listening to the teacher's discussion when somebody knocked on the door.

Mira paused to look.

Their current subject teacher went out to talk to the other teacher. Mira can't hear what they were talking about but the teacher looked inside the classroom once before nodding. She went back inside and coughed.

"Jenny, they are asking you to go to the Guidance Office."

Jenny froze while everyone turned their heads to look at her. They were aware of it, Jenny being called at this time meant that case has finally have a conclusion.

Jenny stood up, aware of everyone's gaze on her.

While walking on the way to the Guidance Office, she can hardly breathe. She clenched her fist while trying to calm herself. When they arrived, the teacher that was with her knocked once before entering.

Inside the office, the atmosphere was tense. They all looked at the door when they entered.

It was Nikolas that greeted them. He thanked the teacher that accompanied Jenny before addressing her.

"We found out what happened already." Nikolas started.

Jenny paled. "Sir, I- I really didn't-" she said in hurry.

"Jenny."

She stopped, feeling desperate, her eyes watering in frustration She truly didn't know how to get out of this situation. She enjoys feeling superior on the others, but she always did things in moderation. She would never do something that would get her expelled. Her scholarship in ISOA is something she could never lose. She looked at her class adviser in desperation.

Nikolas sighed before telling her the school's verdict.

IN the locker room, a girl was busy emptying her locker. Her pretty face was pale and frustration could be seen on her face.

"It's you."

The girl turned to see the owner of the voice.

Jenny glared at the girl busy emptying her locker, her voice containing so much anger. She never imagined that the root of all her sufferings from the past days was one of her 'friends'.

"Why did you do that Chloe?" Jenny asked again.

Chloe glared back at Jenny in resentment. That's right. It was her who released the fake video. She didn't know what went wrong, but the video somehow was traced back to her. She paid so much money but it's all gone to waste.

Since it all come to this, what's the point of pretending?

She smirked at Jenny despite her puffy eyes. "Too bad. I wanted to see your face more when you're like that."

Jenny was seething so much that she was no longer able to restrain herself.

"Chloe you bitch!!!" She grabbed the other girl's collar and pushed her against the locker.

"Was it fun to see me being ostracized like that? Were you happy that someone else got the blame for something that you did?!"

Chloe tried to push her back. "Why are you so angry? Isn't that what you wanted?"

"I never asked you to do something like that!" Jenny hissed.

Chloe started laughing as if to mock her. "Oh please, we both know what kind of person you are. In that short period of time that Hannah was suffering because of the video, you were probably happy. You're the type of person who takes pleasure in seeing the people you hate suffering. Don't start pretending to be an angel now. I also know your true color."

Jenny's fist tightened on Chloe's colar, making the other girl more uncomfortable. She tried to calm herself. She looked at Chloe's eyes before smiling mockingly. "No matter what, I never asked you to do something stupid like that. Because of you, I almost lost everything. But you're getting your karma now anyway. Because you are stupid enough to get caught, you're getting expelled. That's enough compensation to me."

At the mention of her expulsion, Chloe's eyes reddened. She was so angry on the fact that she's getting expelled alone. She ended up pulling Jenny's hair.

"What are you doing? Let go!"

"Ahhh!!! I hate you! Btch!"

When the teachers went to the locker room, they found the two girls in headlock and pulling each other's hair.
