Need to Know How It Felt Like

Jenny hates everything that is happening to her life right now.

She caught two students eyeing her in contempt before pulling their chair a little farther from her. Jenny clenched her fist in anger and humiliation.

How dare them treat her like this.

In Class 3-A, everyone was trying their hardest to steer away from her, as if she has some contagious disease. They thought she didn't notice, but she knows that everyone looks at her when they think she's not looking.

Her mother got a call a day before she went to the school. It turns out that Hannah reported her bullying to the faculty, and as the only one who has harmed her, Jenny became the primary suspect for the video uploading.

Its sure that she will be punished for the bullying, it would at least warrant a week or two of suspension. However, the punishment for uploading the video will be entirely different.

Expulsion.

Right now, she is still under investigation because the school has found no concrete evidence against her.

But does it matter? Jenny gritted her teeth. Everybody seems to think that she did it. That's why she hated everything right now, since she didn't even do it.

No matter how everyone believed its her, Jenny will never admit it because she really didn't do it.

Zack, the guy sitting beside her suddenly frowned. His pen was no longer writing. He tried to rummaged through his bag for a new one before realizing that he forgot to bring an extra one.

When Jenny saw that, she took one of her extra pen. "Need a pen? You can borrow mine. I have an extra."

Zack was startled. He looked at the pen she was offering, before taking it.

"Thanks."

Putting more effort to appear more delicate, she smiled. She don't believe that the class can continue alienating her like that. When the boys saw her smile timidly, they felt some sympathy however, they didn't try to comfort her.

Jenny forgot to think about the girls in her class. They are girls after all, they can see through Jenny's act. And because they are girls, they can also be more vicious to other girls.

Excluding Mira and Sophie, there are other girls in their class who hate Jenny for various reasons. Right now, they are gloating on her misfortune.

"Hey Zack, are you sure you want to borrow from her? Dont say we didn't warn you, but people might think that you stole that. Jenny is good in framing other people after all."

Everybody looked at the source of the voice.

A girl wearing a pink hair band was smirking at Jenny. Because of her words, the class descended into an uncomfortable silence.

Zack who was about to use the pen didn't know what to do.

"What the hell is your problem?!" Jenny glared at the girl.

The girl pretended to look scared in exaggeration. "Are you angry now? Oh no! Im so scared. Will I also find a fake video of me because I offended you?"

"Just how many times I have to say that I didn't do it? Im innocent here." Jenny cried. She tried to look more pitiful and looked for help among their other classmates.

When Jenny looked at them, they became uncomfortable, especially the boys. Jenny really looked pitiful however, no one dared to defend her. None of them wanted to get involved in her problem. What if she was proven guilty? Then those who defended her will be scorned by the others. Besides, Jenny wasn't even their friend.

Mira's group only watched in the sides.

The girl in pink hair band laughed. "Oh please. Stop acting. You might be able to fool the stupid boys of this class with your pretty face but did you think that all of us here are really so dumb? We're girls too and we can tell how fake and bitchy you are."

The girl's words were not reserved at all. Jenny was so angry but what can she do? If everyone saw her becoming aggressive, she will only lose more sympathy. She has no choice but to continue playing the pitiful girl card.

The boys felt wronged when they heard what the girl said though. What did they do? They're innocent. This is a girls' fight, please dont pull us in.

"Im not acting. Why are you being like this? I really didn't do that!" Jenny shed real tears this time.

Mira, who was watching wanted to clap at Jenny's performance. Had she not known Jenny's true self, she might be really convinced by her acting.

If Jenny was acting as herself, she wouldn't be crying pitifully and would have already slapped the other girl. Mira experience firsthand how violent and aggressive Jenny was so how could she not know?

"How can you guys believe that its me who faked that video and uploaded it? Some of you have known me since our first year, do you think that I can really do that? Mira, tell them! Am I really capable of that?"

The sudden mention of her name got Mira awake. She rubbed her ear, thinking that she only imagined it.

Jamie raised her eyebrow at her in silence. That's when Mira noticed that everyone was looking at her.

What? Thats not her imagination?

Jamie and the others looked amused. Was Jenny really asking for Mira's help? At this time? Seriously?

The other students felt weird too. Well, they know that Jenny and Mira were previously friends, but they also know that they had a major fall out and that they can no longer be considered friends.

Besides, in their eyes, Jenny and Mira's previous relationship could barely be considered a friendship. They can obviously tell that Mira was only being taken advantage of and that Jenny doesn't treat her as an equal. So when Mira broke away from Jenny, they weren't surprised.

And now she's asking Mira to stand up for her again...

Mira knew that she's been put in a difficult situation. She doesn't want anything to do with Jenny, but she might also appear heartless to others if she didn't do anything. This incident might even be exploited by Jenny to make things difficult for her in the future.

But she didn't really want to defend Jenny. She wont. She refuse to do another favor for her.

In the end, Mira pretended to look helpless. "You guys stopped now. The next teacher is coming."

The girl in pink hair band looked incredulous. "Are you really helping her? No. Why would you even help her, everybody knows how much she was a bitch to you before."

Mira sighed but didn't answer. Her silence was like an affirmation.

Jenny was furious but didn't show it. She only cried and tried to look helpless and defeated.

"Mira! How can you think that? Although we no longer hang out together, we were still friends for many years. Besides, it was you who decided to stop being friends. How can you do this to me? I believed that we can still fix our friendship.. But who knew that this is how you think about me. Is it so bad to ask you who's been my friend for many years to help to clear my name. How can you be like this Mira.. I-"

"Do I owe you anything?" Mira's cold voice cut her off, her patience thinning out. Would she let Jenny paint her again in a bad way? Of course not.

"I don't owe you anything. Im already trying to help you by breaking this fight. So how can YOU say that to me? Don't expect me to be on your beck and call. I haven't forgotten what you did to me."

With that, the blame was shifted back to Jenny.

The others in their class were surprised. They have never heard Mira speak like that. She seems so quiet and gentle that they would have never thought that she could have a temper too.

Mira is their friend, of course the others would back her up. Sophie added fuel to the fire.

"That's right. Who doesn't know how good you treated her in the past? Hey. She even tried to make you claim something you didn't do. If I have a friend like that, I would be worried too."

The other students felt like they were watching a drama.

"Good thing that you were slapped awake Mira." Jamie added, grinning.

Slapped awake? Slapped?

The class had an enlightened expression. They are smart, they can read under the lines.

Slapping your own friend, then asking for her help when you need it..

The other students started looking at Jenny in contempt.

No wonder Mira ditched her. If their friend started hurting them, screw friendship. They'd rather have no friends.

Jenny genuinely paled this time when she perceived the looks she was receiving from everyone.

"See? You were such a fake that you drove away the only person who was willing to tolerate you." The girl in pink hairband gloated.

Jenny couldn't finally take it anymore. She looked at the faces of her classmates and realized that no one wanted to come to her defense. Her pace pale and lips shaking, she stormed out of the room.

The class went silent. Drama's over. Everybody went back to what they were doing before.

"Is that okay?" Jamie asked. "That was pure bullying of the weak. You said you believed she didn't do the video."

Mira waved her hand. "Let her be. She needs to feel how it felt to be criticized for something she didn't do. Besides, if she really have nothing to do with that video, the school will not expel her."

Jamie shrugged. "Your call."
