Luigi

Present Day.

"You were so rude back then. What's so cool about that?" Sophie said when she remembered those moments.

Justin grinned.

That was three years ago. Even now, he can't believe that they were still together. When he looks at Sophie, he felt as if his heart would burst with emotions. Perhaps no one else would know how smitten he is on his girlfriend.

Before they knew it, they already arrived at Sophie's house. Justin walked her on their doorsteps.

"So... I'll see you tomorrow." Sophie said.

Justin stopped her before she could enter her house.

"Where's my goodnight kiss?" He demanded.

Sophie glared at him before tiptoeing and kissing him on his cheek.

"Goodnight." She said.

Justin rolled his eyes. With one hand, he pulled Sophie by holding the back of her head and kissed her deeply.

Sophie's eyes widened but before she can react, he already pulled away.

Face red, she slapped Justin's shoulder.

"What are you doing in front of my house?!" Sophie hissed.

Justin smirked and said, "Goodnight."

He then turned to walk away with a satisfied face, whistling as he go.

Before they knew it, another two weeks had passed in a blink of an eye. They spent these past weeks studying so hard that even Mira felt like throwing up. If there was something that consolate them, its that thankfully, the schoolworks started to lessen as time passed by.

Mira took a deep breath. It was tiring but for her, it kind of felt nice to do these mundane things. She felt pressure, but she also enjoyed studying. Something that she never got to do in the other life that she knew.

She took another deep breath while enjoying the air. Almost three months had passed since she returned from the future. At first, she felt so burdened by the memories that she spent her first month having nightmares. But now, she can now breath freely. She was truly thankful to whatever force that gave her a second chance.

"Mind if I sit here?" A voice interrupted her thoughts.

Mira opened her eyes to see Luigi smiling down at her.

She was currently alone in the school garden because it seems that everyone has something to do with their clubs. Even Jamie is nowhere to be found. Sophie took her while saying something about how they need another actress for their play in the upcoming school festival. The role was supposed to be Jenny's but since Jenny got banned for a month, the Drama Club is looking for a replacement.

Even Eugine has something to do in the Library.

"I don't really mind." Mira told Luigi.

"Thanks." Luigi sat and grinned at her.

Truthfully, she didn't also know how to act around Luigi. Although they are always together, They are not really close and had little personal interaction with each other.

This guy who oozes confidence and always wearing a warm smile was someone Mira could only watch afar in the future life she knew. If Kang Jun was the Prince Charming that all girls love and all boys silently curse at, Luigi is the Knight that everybody likes and get along with. He is popular, not only on girls but also with boys.

So Mira didn't really know how to talk to him. Its not like with Kang Jun who has been her schoolmate since grade school.

Nonetheless, Luigi could be considered her friend too in this turn so she has no reason to avoid him like she does with Eugine.

"Do you not have a swimming practice?" She asked. It was a well known facts that Luigi is the ace of the swimming team.

"I do but I skipped."

"You skipped? Why? Won't you be in trouble?" Mira was surprised. She never pegged him to be the type to skip practices.

Justin laughed. "Nah. I'll just tell them that I was not feeling well."

Mira can't help but smile too. There was something contagious about the way Justin laughs.

"But you're okay though?" She raised her eyebrow.

"Shhh. You have to cover for me. Its a secret."

He then pretended to slump against the tree weakly. "Hurry, take a picture so that you have an evidence If I ever got caught."

She can no longer stop herself from grinning wide.

"Okay, I'll make sure to cover for you. If you were ever found out, that is."

Justin sat up and held out his hand, his hand curled into a fist with only the pinky out. "You promised. Then lets swear on our pinky."

"You.. Are you being serious?" She asked while looking at his silly expression.

Justin pouted and nodded like a puppy. Mira knew that he was playing around but chose to go along with his playfulness. She held out her little finger.

"Fine. Pinky promised."

They both then curled their little finger... Then they both burst out laughing.

"What the hell Luigi. So childish." She said while laughing.

The bell suddenly rang.

"Oops. That's our cue to go back to our dreadfull classes." Justin stood up and held out his hand to her.

Mira unhesitatingly grab it and pulled herself up.

"Let's go."

They both then realized that their hand were still clasped together. For a second, both of them stared at their hands before hastily pulling away.

"Sorry." Justin said, grinning while scratching the back of his neck.

Mira shook her head, although her face was also slightly red.

"Let's go?"

Mira nodded while thinking that the time she spent with Luigi was more comfortable than what she expected.

It was not bad.
