the nurses and doctor came rushing holding defibrillators. They do everything to restore a normal heartbeat by sending an electric pulse or shock to her heart. After a minute of trying, they stopped and the doctor shaking her head. She sighed and looked at her wristwatch.

" time o-"The doctor said and panic-stricken me, I can't lose her. She was cut off by herself when we saw her breathing she slowly opened her eyes and she squinted. I walked to her and she fainted again. The doctor placed a stethoscope in her chest and feel her pulse.

"Lucky Angel." She said and smile. I sighed deeply and massage my temple. They carried her to the stretcher. And brought her to a private room.

"Sir, I think she's depressed. She overdoses herself of a pill and her body can't handle the drugs it suffocates her heart. It's a miracle that she wakes up."

I overdose myself of pills and I can't breathe. I slowly opened my eyes, I'm weak so fucking weak, I can't move to shift my body on the side. I can smell his fresh scent, I turned my gaze and saw kiari looking at me blankly. There are no emotions on his face. Tears escape from my eye, I wanna die, I want to rest from pain.

"Kiari..."I said low struggling to speak. He cupped my face and wiped my tears. And he leaned down to kiss the middle of my head, he sighed and looked at me straight to my eye. I smiled weakly to him, he smirked and tears slipped on his face. He stared at me without any emotions. I know he's hurting.

I raised my hand wiping his tears away.

"I'm fine." Though I'm not, I just wanna say this to make situations better. He rolled his eyes.

"I almost lose you." He said deeply.

I shook my head and cupped his face.

"I'll never leave you," I said wiping his tears.

"But you already did." He said darkly.

"I'm sorry," I said, tears running on my cheeks. "I just wanna rest temporarily from pain, I didn't mean to kill myself," I said and he shook his head. "Come here," I said opening my arms. He stood up and weakly embrace him. I can feel he kissed my neck and he pulled from the hug.

"Hungry?" He asked nonchalantly. I nodded. He grabbed his phone from his pocket and he types so fast.

"I'm sorry," I said, he looked at me blankly. I feel like everything is my fault. He shook his head looking at me the casual.

The food came and he feeds me. I like the way he blows the porridge slowly. I brushed his hair, He's drop-dead gorgeous. He looked at me amusement flash quickly on his eyes. I smiled, he smirked and rolled his eyes again.

"Thank you," I said smiling brightly. I feel better now.

"Tss." He said and feed me again.

I stunned when someone knocks the door, Kiari stood up and was about to open the door but it was swung opened already.

"What are doing here?" Kiari said deeply clenching his fist.

"I'm here to visit." He said and walked past kiari. Kiari holds his arm and their burning gazed lock on each other.

"Leave," Kiari said deeply cold, but Charles shook his head.

"Kiari please," I said kindly, kiari looked at me with his harsh stares and exited the room.

He must be jealous.

"Hey. I heard what happened" He said his eyes are sleepless, I nodded and he sighed. I'm really good at making trouble.

"I'm fine now," I said, just to lessen the worries on his face.

"Why did you do that?" He furrowed his eyebrows.

"Charles." I need to tell him right now. I don't want to make things more complicated around. I cause them pain yet they still care. Their simple gestures of kindness enough to send me guilt.

"Yeah?" He questioned holding my hand. I squeezed his hand and looked at him straight in the eye.

"Do you really love me?"I asked him seems like he didn't expect this. He nodded.

"I love you, I came here yesterday but Kiari pushed me away." He said he's so sad. I could tell, in his eyes.

"Charles, you deserve someone that could love you back," I said and he looked up blinking his eyes and sighed.

"Tiffany likes you, And you two are perfect. I'm sorry but I can't love you back, I tried Charles. I swear." I said and tears scrolled down. He wiped it away he smiled a little, his breath becomes rigid.

"Him?" He asked me he was still smiling weakly. I nodded, he holds my hand tight and took a deep breath.

"Thank you for telling me about this early." He said nodding and he stood up and kiss my head. Tears slipped on his eyes and he exited the room. I looked up the ceiling tears still flowing.

I had a hard time controlling my anger. I was standing in the garden of the hospital leaning on a big tree. I sighed my life is more hurdle, Charles told me yesterday about his feelings to Selina. I ascertain him to stay away from her, but he wasn't listening, he even showed up now. I want to kill him but Selina will be mad, so I stopped this shit. I waited for him to go out, I wanna listen to their talked but I know privacy. I wanna give up Selina, I know she will live peacefully with someone whose life wasn't miserable as mine. But I can't, the thought that I'm far away from her kills me, How much more if she's far and not mine anymore. When Charles exited the hospital he was walking heading to me, I looked at him with my burning gaze.

"Take good care of her," He said coldly.

"I know," I said hostile and turned my back to him.

I saw sitting leaning back on the bedboard and she's crying wiping her tears. I walked on her side and she looked at me. I stared at her casually, I sat in front of her I pulled her for a hugged and kissed her head.

"I hurt him."She said between weep. I sighed and rubbed her back.

"Shhh, he'll be fine," I said trying my best to comfort her. She nodded.

"Tomorrow is your last day here," I said nonchalantly.

"That's good I need to fix Cilia's house." She said I shook my head.

The night came and we laid down on the hospital bed embracing each other. She laid down on my chest, I let her do what makes her feel comfortable. I comb her hair gently, I could felt her soft breathing. She fell asleep on my chest, I was amused to that, He can feel my heartbeats.

The Morning comes I don't sleep yet. The doctor was checking on her and after that, she'd be discharged. I hold her hand as we walked to a parking lot. I opened the door for her and we drive our way not to Cilia's house but to my condo.

"Kiari you're taking the wrong path." She said when I speed straight to the highways. I sighed and a split of minutes, we reached the condo. I park the car getting off, I grabbed her hand heading to my room. When we get inside, I pulled her for a kiss, she closed her eyes and goes with the kiss. I wrapped my hand on his waist and she linking her arm around my neck. We kiss liked we didn't see each other for years, we kissed like we wanna spend our whole life together, we kissed and the happiness scared me again. We let go when we're running out of air. I hugged her tight and buried my face on her neck.

"Stay with me," I said deeply, I'm addicted to her scent. She doesn't make any gesture nor nodded. I looked at her she looked at me frantically hesitant. She shook her head, and that kills me.

"won't you?" I asked her with furrowed eyebrows

"I love you, I would love to stay. But if staying means can't give you peace of mind, I'll willing to let you go." She said, and tears slipped on her face. I shook my head.

"What's your plan kiari?"

I shook my head "I don't know yet." I said I don't believe in law, I can't rely upon Justice to them and Timothy's life to them. I made justice myself by killing them mercilessly, I don't rely on to anyone I do it all by myself.

"I want to help you." She said and quickly shook my head.

"No," I said deeply cold and firm.

"Kiari, please. I want to help you with finding justice for your family. We can make sure that he'll spend his life in jail." She said, I can't react that's her belief she relies on law, while I'm not. She wants the government set and I'm not.

"He can run away from the law," I said darkly.

"No. I'll talk to him," She said and cupped my face.

"No," I said angrily. "He can bear to leave you with your Mom. I doubt your safety on his hand." I said.

"But he still my Dad." She said."Kiari let's end this both. I'll never leave you."

"No. I can't put you in danger" What if Timothy killed her? what if Timothy used her against me? I can't let that happened.

"He's my Dad, I'm sure he won't hurt me." She said firmly. I know she's trying to pretend that she's not scared. But I made my decision. I will never risk her life not now, never.

"I don't trust him," I said darkly.

"Then, trust me." She said and Locking our eyes.

"I trust you, Selina. I'm just fucking scared if he would hurt you and used you, against me." I said breaking the contact.

"I'll make sure he won't." She said and smile weakly.

"No," I said and walked laid down on my bed.

"Kiari-" She said but I cut her words off.

"I made my decision Selina, I can't risk your life." said and turn my back on her.

She exited the room and laid on the couch.
