Chapter 14

I'm planning to go back to school since my foot was fine, my arms still have the cast. I get up from bed in walked to the bathroom, do my business, and get out. Since Christmas is near its extra cold outside, I wear long pants, fitted pink turtle neck shirt and my lovely coat that colored rose gold, Tiffany texted me last night to wear like this so we are matching. I wear my white leather boots and comb my hair arranged my bangs, and exited the room. I walked down the kitchen and saw kiari eating breakfast, for all of the meals I can skip is breakfast. I don't like to eat early in the morning, so I just drink the juice that Cilia made.

"You look pretty." Cilia said smiling brightly and I smile sweetly that commitment flattered me.

"Thanks," I said and wink at her, Kiari was there eating silently. While we are in the counter.

"So, do you have a crush right now?" She asked waddled beside me.

"Yeah," I said firmly. The first day of school the first person that caught my attention was Charles and I think he attracts me. I had a crush on him while I love kiari. I should've been careful.

"Tell who is he?" She questions and twinkled her eyes. I leaned down to her ear and whispered his name "Charles." I said and giggled.

"Charles?!" She freaky shout his name. I looked at kiari he looking on us with his burning gaze. I looked away and faced Cilia.

"Oops sorry. I was just surprised, you know he fetched you here last time, that's a rare case. Imagine your crush fetch you and texting you. That's rarely lucky." She said and she started blushing.

"Yeah. I'm lucky." I said and bite my lower lips.

"Let's go," he said deeply dark and that tone making me shiver slightly. He stood up and exited the house, his hard footstep and that scared me.

I followed him outside hopping on the car. I put my seat belt on and he starts driving like the normal ride.

"Uhm Kiari," I said hesitant to talked to him, it's tense.

"Yeah?" he asked coldly. I stared at him, why he's so handsome? His hair was mildly messy, his jaw perfectly curves, his lips oh God I wanna kiss that again, his eyes. I wanna owned it.

"You could take a picture of me. It's fine." He said coldly and I quickly looked away.

Wait? picture? yeah, think I need that to document my diary. And I could stare on the picture for long. Great idea! I grabbed my phone and directly point it in his face and take a lot of pictures of him and I do selfies with him. I smile while he smirked.

"Thanks for giving me an idea," I said and chuckled as I scrolled down on our pictures. I heard him sighed, my stupidity has the power to annoyed everyone around me.

"Kiari," I said and smacked his arm mildly.

"What?" He said deeply.

"Uhm Charles invite me to his house. Can I go?" I asked and he rolled his eyes. We got to school and get off of the car. Wait for the answer! I need that right now.

"Hey, so what?" I asked holding his arm. And smiled at him brightly she looked at me and smirked.

"No." He said deeply and walked away.

I followed him since we have the same class. I walked leisurely, I wanna go to that party Charles told me it's a swimming party. But I can't swim because of my cast. Fractured fell in love with me and I don't like that, I only want him to love me back. I know he can't love me so I bother myself hanging with friends. Lake Charles, and speaking on his, there he is walking over me while smiling brightly. I smiled back.

"So you're coming?" He asked, Oh please, how can I tell him I can't? That Kiari is stupid kill joy!

"It seems like you can't," he said sadly.

"I'm sorry," I said I'm not good at lying and making false excuses.

" It's okay I understand." He said smile sadly. That's the best thing to put me through guilt.

"You know what, you're beautiful.

Can I court you?" I was stunned to that, He said directly without a doubt and that's enough for a jaw dropped.

"What?" I asked furrowed. Maybe it's time to move on from Kiari he can't love me. I'm aware, maybe it's time to love someone who feels the same way as I do. What if I give it a try? Why is something stopping me? I just can't predict what is it.

"I think I Like you." He said and I looked at him for a while. My brain had a hard time absorbing that. "So?" He asked putting both hands on his pocket.

I nodded and smile, I wanna give a try. We don't know maybe he's the one who really meant for me.

"That's great! Thanks" He said and hugged me. I was stunned I'm not comfortable with his hugged but I'll get used to it. I pulled myself slightly to that hugged.

"Let's go?" I said and force myself to smile. I should be happy that someone loves me but why the hell I can't? Maybe I want his love.

We walked to the room and Charles sat beside me. And Kiari was on my left side. This intense! but I love making trouble sometimes. Let's see what will happen. The class started in a flash we had activity by pair.

"Partner?" Charles asked me flexing his seducing smile. I was about to nod when Kiari pulled me close to him.

"Answer these and pass." He said coldly, I looked at the paper and my name written on them. I don't have a choice but to answer those entries. And it turned out that Kiari is my partner. Charles answered alone, I feel sad for him.

"I'm done," I said nowhere just an expression. I sighed I had a hard time analyzing the entries though.

"Pass," Kiari said deeply.

"You pass," I said placing the questioners on his table. He put back to mine and so on.

"Hey what a love quarrel," Tiffany said and looked on my table.

"Why you didn't pass that?" She said pointing her fingers on my desk. I glance at kiari and shot him with a burning gaze.

"Oh, I'll pass that since I'll pass mine too." She said and I hand her the paper and say my thanks. And looked at to kiari and rolled my eyes then put my head on the desk.

I feel my hair moving. I looked up and saw kiari playing on it. He's wearing his earphones, I wanna hear his music taste. I seat properly and pulled the other side of his earphones and put it on mine. He didn't seem to mind, eww what kind of music is this? I don't understand, Is this music? I just heard not singing but yelling.

Kiari notice my reaction and grabbed the earphones and positioned back to his ear.

He rolled his eyes and stood up, in the middle of class. Nice manners he exited the room.

In a flashed it's our break. I'm hungry, I stood up and slung my bag on my shoulder.

"Hey let's have hotcakes and Ice creams," Tiffany said linking her arms around me.

"Hotcakes? Do you like hotcakes? that's gross." He said and exited the room.

"Don't mind him, Stupid asshole he needs to pay for my shoes!." Tiffany shouted mad.

"Why what did he do?" I asked as confusion got the best in me.

"He kicked it, on the fountain! and the water drench and obviously it'll get wet" She said her face turned red. I laughed and she looked at me with a death glare.

"opss I just find that one funny," I said and keep snickering.

we walked to the food court and I saw Kiari. He signaled me to come over and I looked at Tiffany and Charles before skipping to them.

I sat opposite him and he looked at me blankly. The food court was silent and no one dared to talk they all eating silently.

"Eat." He said pointing on the fries, soda, hotcakes, and chicken. This is happiness. I grabbed the food and start munching. I just got a divorce on Ice cream just today.

He just looked at me and Amusement flash quickly on his face. I'll never say no to food, ya know! I swallow the left soda and burp.

"Thanks," I said and he just stared at me with no emotions.

"I have to go later." He said deeply dark.

"Where?" I said furrowed "But we still have class." I frowned. He shook his head.

"Office, emergency." He said deeply.

"Can I go?" I said and he stared at me with his burning gaze before shaking his head.

"I'll just text Brex to fetch you." He said not breaking eye contact. I just nodded.

Kiari

After she eats I stood up and exited the school. Heading straight to the warehouse. It's the second day we found our men died and hanging on the trees. And we still trying to figure out who demons did this.

In a span of minutes I arrived and found one man died again. Baron knelt down and I heard him sobbing Fuck! this time they target bogard.

I tapped Baron's shoulder as angered start filling me in. If I'll catch him I'll chop him!

We get inside and Baron showed me the CCTV footage around the warehouse. It obviously that man memorized this place, he moves firm and quickly snapped my men neck and cut his stomach, the second he tied up his neck and hang on the tree until his breathless.

The next if bogard, He was smoking outside roaming around, then he stabbed him brutally and cut his neck her laid down and he slit his stomach.

I zoomed in his picture he has a tattoo on his face, I know this, I remember that detailed. It's Jack, he's alive and killed my men slowly.

"It's Jack," I said and Baron stood up. and looked at the laptop.

"Yeah, It's the shit." He said deeply dark and the presence of coldness and anger mixed in."We should kill him as soon as possible" He said and tears of angered slipped on his face. Bogard was his friend.

I nodded, we track his location and everything. And the worst we found out he tells Timothy about my plan now he's working on him.

"Now they work both to kill us," Bogard said with the same tone.

"We need to prepare, Kill Jack and Timothy. Let's end this." I said deeply cold and he nodded

I got home, I looked at my watched wrist it's not yet Selina's dismissal. I speeding up through the highway and got home. The intense presence in the house alarmed they all looked scared.

I get inside and the hard footstep getting down from the stairs. Shocked me, Is this for real? He looked at me and Flashed a smile a deadly smile. My heartbeat starts racing inside me, It's almost one year since he has gone, specifically he died. He walked through me in stood up in front of me.

"Dad?" I said low, he tapped my shoulder and hugged me tightly.

"I'm back son." He said happily.

"But you died on the plane crash," I said shaking my head what I just saw is unbelievable. We found his body. His garments and everything they even do an autopsy to confirm.

"You can see me right?" He asked furrowed. I nodded. "Then that means you can see dead." He said smirked.

I looked at him and he starts snickering.

"Just kidding Son, I'm alive and safe." He said brushing my hair.

"But How?" I asked puzzled in confusion.

"I'm Saynel I can dodge death."He said cockily. I smile at him and hugged him tightly.

"I miss you Ugly Old Man," I said and he pulled me from the hugged and stared at me with a death glare.

"Don't call me that."He said deeply but the presence of 'just kidding' was there. I laughed.

"Dad." I said and He smiles brightly."But how did you dodge death? Resurrect? asked Satan to bring you back to life?" I asked furrowing for my eyebrow. He tapped my shoulder and I rolled my eyes.

I didn't expect this, I really thought he's dead from that accident I even killed the person that framed him up. And now he appeared and said cockily he just dodged death, I need a break I can't absorb these all. I had a serious mission to do I need to end this avenge and start over. I know Charles court him and I know my boundaries, I can't hurt Charles because he loves Selina. I'm like that, I'm not selfish anymore. Selina thought me this.

She changes me. And now the Ugly old man resurrects and showed up.

"So tell me, Dad, how did you survive from the plane crash?" I asked to force him to tell me. He turned his off his phone and looked at me.

"I survive, because of you." He said and I feel goosebumps. Did he just say to me? how? did he exchange our death in hell?
