Chapter 12

"I told you not to drink. But you weren't listening." I said to her and shaking her head groggy.

I hold her hand and walked over the car. I opened the door and dragged her inside. And I entered on the other side.

I start the engine and drove our way home. This girl is getting into my nerves! She smacked me six times already. She's drunk brutally.

"Stop!" She shouted and I drive on the side of the road and stepped on the brake.

She gets off and walked on the church and she stared at the cross.

I followed her. And looked at her face it's wet, She cried again.

"Kiari..." She looked at me and stares continuously scrolled down on her face.

"Yes?" I asked her blankly.

"Why do keep hiding your emotions?!" She asked me and walked closer then smacked my chest. I hold her hand and she looked at me.

"Kiari...I prayed to God to take good care of my Mom up there." She said and her tear began to scroll down. " I miss her, I miss her so bad. I need her to hug. I want her kisses and I want to follow her there." She said and I pulled her instantly and hugged her.

"Shh... Don't do that." I said seriously and rubbed her back.

"You're not good on comforting people you know." She said and slightly pushed me.

"That's the best I could do," I said and avoid her stare.

"Nah it's not the best. You hide the best here." She said pointing my chest. I don't know but every time she said something about my personality it hit me hard.

"Let's go," I said and hold her hand.  She stopped and hugged me close to her. She wrapped her arms around my neck and slowly closed her eyes I feel her lips against mine. And  I slowly closed my eyes and goes with the kiss.  She pulled me from the kiss and Smacked my shoulder.

"I love you." She said husky and hugged me, she squeezed me tightly.

and I don't know what to say, I hate this, my heart filled with happiness. And that scared me, Yes! happiness scared me more than anything. I'm afraid that I'll get used to this feeling and kill myself if happiness divorce with me again.

I grabbed her and we strolled to the car and drove our way home.

She yawned leaning back and dozen off. When we got on the house I get off and went on the other side opened the door and carried her in her room.

I placed her in her bed and covered her body with the mattress. I was stunned when she opened her puppy eyes and hold my hand tightly.

"Are you going to leave me? like, my mom?" She asked and tears fell down on her face. I sighed wiping her face. I shook my head and she tapped the space beside her. I sit there before I laid down, I know she's depressed. She keeps holding my hand and closed her eyes. I just stared at her lovely face and until I fell asleep.

Selina

I snuggled on my warm bed and squeezing my pillow tightly. I slowly opened my eyes, as I bewilderedly pestered at the vibration of heartbeats. I opened my eyes and I stunned realized I'm not snuggling a warm pillow but Kiari's warm body. I looked upon him, his face was covered with his single hand and the other hand was on my shoulder. He turned side down and hugged me, I feel safe in her embrace. I tried to remember what happened last night why kiari sleeps in my room which he usually doesn't.

I got drunk and I shit! I confessed to him and the worst is I kissed him! I hurriedly seat from lying and looked at him he looked at me blankly with his slightly red eyes.

Our eyes fixated on each other and no one adjusts to look away. And my cheek caught on fire, I feel the heat filling inside me and I looked away. I stood up and walked to the bathroom I smacked my face. Oh no, I just confessed. I pacify myself before getting out, he's was still in bed and stretch his hand and yawned covering his mouth with his clenching fist.

The tensed filled up the placed and I can't embrace it, I'd suffocate if I'd do. He looked at me, he chuckled and resting his head on his palm.

"You look stupid." He said blankly and curled his lips upside. I sighed and pacify myself and rolled my eyes at him. Get down on the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water. I can't believe what I did last night. You know that thing the confession ft. Rejection, And the flashback ft. Pain, and the darkness ft. loneliness. I just prepared myself, I sure he'll reject me, who would love someone like me a weirdo, stupid and madly in love with the scoundrel. My life tangled up.

Oh no! I think the garbage truck forgot to pick me. I grimaced as I heard my thought.

What if he'll take advantage of me because I liked him?

What if I throw the glass on the floor? and calculate the possible distance and minutes before it drops on the floor and made it many.

What if I go back to the room and kiss him again?... eww hell no.

What if I drive his favorite car and crash it on the big tree?

What if he'll get mad and grab my eyeballs and bounce them on the floor?

What if I bloated all the air around the house and run upstairs and put my butt directly into his face and fart?

What if Luca Paoli never born?

What if I shout her and cry telling them the devil ant and bite my nails? wait! what?! nails? ant can bite nail? like they have sharp teeth like nail cutters?

I had endless what-ifs in a span of minutes. I'm crazy, Hangover at it's finest. I walked over the couch and slummed myself. I have a class later and yet my mind was occupied with some nonsense stuff.

I walked upstairs and slowly opened my room door. Kiari wasn't here anymore thank God, I sighed and slummed myself on my bed.

What she said last night bothers my thoughts, I was amused by her reaction when she wakes up. I need to set aside these thoughts and focus on my mission, my mission was delayed for 2 days. Unlike before on time sometimes advance, but it's changed. I walked to the bathroom to do my business and getting out. Heading to my closet, after that I slipped my gun on my waistband. When I'm done I get down to the kitchen. I don't have class and Selina too, So, the timing was right I could be able to do my mission without disturbance.

I walked to the garage and I saw her at the garden sitting on the swing and headphone plugged on her ears. I walked close to her and she seems surprised, she instantly looked away removed her earphones.

"Selina," I said deeply cold. I put both of my hands on my waist and looked at her.

"Y-Yeah?" She questioned half trailed off and not even looking at me.

I don't know why I approached her and now she questioned and I actually don't know what to say. I sighed.

"Drink tea," I said casually. I know she had a hangover. She drink five glass of hard drinks last night. She groaned and nodded. I turned around and walked away.

"Kiari..." She calls out my name and I looked back to see her. I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Where are you going?" She asked giving me perplexing looks and ghastly.

"Office." I lied, and she nodded I can't tell her about this. I promised to love you back when I'm done.  She nodded and sat back on the swing.

I get in my motorbike put my helmet on and speed up heading to the secret house. I saw my men preparing themselves, Baron walking towards.

"Hey ugly this gonna be lit." He said and smirked.

"yeah, Update," I said blankly and he grabbed his phone from his pockets.

"He's on his way to his company." He said and I nodded.

"bye," I said and getting on to my motorbike and speeding up

through highways. Avoiding cars. I reached his company in a split of two minutes.

I waited outside his company building leaning on my motorbike. I pretend to like a random stranger, and people would not give a doubt. I saw him getting in, on his car with his driver. I quickly get on my motorbike and followed them, I plan to catch him on the 7th street few people. I was riding the motorbike with one hand and the other hand snatching my gun from my waistband. I bring the gun with a silencer, so they won't be alarmed. I point the gun directly to his car tires and it went flat. The car stopped in the middle of the road and his driver came out rubbing his neck he went at the back of the car and start kicking the tires. I saw him, grabbed something inside the car through the window. As I'm getting closer to them I aimed the gun on his head and blown off. Blaze immediately runs out from his car without shutting the door covering his head as if it has a used. I stopped my motorbike in front of his car and removed my helmet looked at him straight on his face.  Confusion flex on his face, I laughed demonically and he furrowed his eyebrow.

"Who are you?" He asked shaking and cuffufled.

"Satan," I said deeply cold and looked at him with a death glare. He was shocked and stepped back slowly. I get off from my motorbike and hit the back of his head and he gains unconsciousness.

I carried him inside his car and the driver. Start the engine and throw two bombs inside and speed up waiting for them to explode. I feel the impact of the eruption and the scorching heat. I smirked and speed up.

I got home heading straight to my room. I took a bath and wore my clothes. I get down for lunch, I seat on the master chair.

"Call her," I demanded the maids behind me.

"She's not in her room Master." She said and I looked at her frowning.

Cilia came and looked at me.

"She goes to school." Cilia said and walked away. I nodded and sighed.

I grabbed my phone from my pockets and checked if she texted me.

Selina.

I'm off to school kiari, I check my schedule and I still have my class on management. Bye!.

I sighed rubbing the back of my neck. I stood up didn't finish my meal and stride to the garage, get in my car, and went to school.

When I got to school I looked for her. I saw Tiffany on the alley talking to Charles. My tense presence alarmed them and Tiffany looked at me.

"Kiari." She said hesitanly and avoid looking at me.

"Hmm?" I asked blankly emotionless

"We have been trying to reach out on you. The nurse brings Selina to the hospital." She said low shaking.

"Why? What happened to her?" I asked her. Shit! death chased her.

"We're on the stairs and she accidentally hit by the baseball and fell on the stairs."

I hurriedly went to my cars, Tiffany followed me.

"I can come?" I looked at her blankly before nodding.

We get in the car I start the engine. I speeding through the highways and I could feel Tiffany was scared.

When we got to the hospital tiffany hold her chest and breath rapidly. We entered the hospital and Tiffany looked at her phone.

"She's in the emergency room." She said panicking and walked fast to the emergency room.

I looked for her but I can't find her. Except to the bed where few nurses standing and doing CPR to the patient. Tiffany walked slowly over the patient and gasped instantly covered her mouth. I could feel the raced on my heartbeats.

"Time of death 2:23 Pm." The nurse said and I saw Tiffany cried. I Immediately walked to see her and opened the blanket that covered her face I need to confirm. I'll go crazy if I'll lose her.

I sighed relief when I saw it isn't her. And I heard Tiffany sighed too.

"Kiari?" I heard her voice behind me. I turned around and saw her she has a cast on her right foot and right arm and bruises on her head and she's standing with the balance board. I walked fast toward her and gently hugged her, She hugged me back using her left arm. I slowly calm down, on her embrace.

"Hey, I'm fine." She said trying to cheer me up. And I don't like it pretending to be fine just not let someone worry isn't helping.

I stared at her face blankly wordless. If I caught who did this to her I'll kill him.

"Tss," I said to her and pushed back her hair that covering her one eye. She smiled brightly at me and I smirked rolling my eyes.

"Oh MG! Selina I thought it's you," Tiffany said panicking and pointed at the girl lying lifeless.

"Haha, I'm a cat I have nine lives right?." She said. Hiding the pain. Tiffany nodded.

"Janese sent me a message, She said it was not an accident. She saw that Andy has done it on purpose." Tiffany said and I clenched my fist as angered start filling up. I feel her hand holding mine and I sighed.

"Uhmm Let's go?" She said and smiled at me a little.

And I accompany her to the car she walked limping. She's not used to walked with the balance board. I opened the door and help her get in.

When we got home I carried her upstairs and laid her in her bed.

"Are you okay?" She asked me furrowed and I faintly smirked.

"I should be the one asking that," I said deeply cold.

"I'm fine," She said happily. I rolled my eyes.

"rest," I said to nonchalantly.

She holds my arms and adjusts her slightly move, I adjust her pillow.

"Thanks." She said and smile a little."You can go to school now." She said she knows my schedule.

"No," I said blankly cold.

"Why?" She questioned and furrowed eyebrows

"I'll keep an eye on you," I said casually and avoid her gazed.

I seat oh her bed leaning on the headboard and played on my phone.
