34. The Kyubi’s attack (2)

"Oh, he found us, are we going to eat him?" said an eerie high pitched voice gleefully, and soon after that a head poked out from the floor facing their direction.

It was a humanoid creature with Venus flytrap-like extensions that emerged from its side, half of it was white while the other was black in colour as it got out from the ground.

Aiko did not give it time nor did he bother to question its unusual appearance as he used body flicker jutsu to appear beside it and using the momentum to swing the Zanpakutō at its neck.

The extensions surrounding its body extended stopping the sword but Aiko added chakra increasing its sharpness cutting through them reaching the creature.

But the split second of delay was enough for it to sink into the ground making the sword pass through the top of its head cutting a bit of its light green hair in the process.

Kushina's face turned serious as she saw the creature and tried to mould her chakra planning to help Aiko in fighting it.

"Kushina-san, please stop, your condition will only worsen if you try to use chakra." said Aiko, his tone calm as he looked at the zetsu which moved back fluidly even with half its body submerged into the floor.

'Does it want to release the other half of the Kyubi?' thought Aiko looking at the surroundings, fighting inside the house will be difficult as he would have to pay attention to the safety of Kushina and Naruto .

Aiko sensed danger and rolled to the side when a spike of wood emerged from the place he was standing in.

"That hurt" said the creature mockingly ruffling its own hair as wooden spikes grew from the white half side of its body as it fully emerged from the floor.

'The wood is like the extension of its body.' thought Aiko, noticing that the wooden spike was formed through the extension of its leg.

The creature arrived in front of him with a speed faster than his, stabbing him with its hand which was now morphed into a spearhead. Aiko parried its attack and aimed to kick it but quickly retracted his leg as the place he was going to kick morphed into a spike.

Even though the creature was faster than him he was able to use his instinct manipulation skill to hold his own and deflect all its attack with his sword but he also wasn't able to go on the offensive.

'Time is running out, I need to get them out of here.' he thought, looking at the timer which showed 7 minutes and was decreasing at a steady pace.

Aiko poured more of his chakra into the sword increasing its attack range and power and quickly thought of a idea as he tried to make the chakra rub against each other and become hot like it had done when he performed the fireball jutsu and after a few seconds succeeded in converting the chakra coating his sword into fire and pushing the creature back.

Minato teleported back into the village and saw that the Kyubi was still wreaking havoc but was slowly being pushed towards the outskirts of the village.

'This is bad!' he thought as it opened its mouth gathering chakra to create a tailed beast bomb.

He quickly threw a kunai towards the Kyubi and teleported to it when it passed on top of the Kyubi and used the summoning Jutsu. A huge toad almost the size of the Kyubi appeared on top of it, pinning it in place. It was wearing a large blue happi vest that has the kanji (ebi) on the back, and carried a massive dosu blade at its hip. it also had a large kiseru pipe in its mouth.

"Yo Minato…, What the hell?" It greeted but quickly exclaimed when it found itself on top of the Kyubi.

"Hold it down for a bit, Gamabunta san, I need to gather chakra to teleport something this big." said Minato landing on top of the Kyubi touching it as he moulded chakra.

The kyubi even though not under genjutsu was still berserk as it gathered chakra forming a tailed beast bomb aimed at the toad.

"Yo Minato, hurry up." said the toad looking at the Kyubi but tried its best to pin it on the ground.

'I need to take the Kyubi outside the village and seal it….Kushina-chan can't withstand the backlash of the sealing ceremony….The only way would be to take it with me through the reaper death seal.' he decided as he gathered enough chakra. The words of the Masked man bothered him and looking at today's incident he decided that if the fully powered Kyubi was controlled; it would only bring a greater disaster with nobody being able to stop it.

Regarding the future threat of the Masked man, Jiraiya's words about prophecy and Aiko's face flashed through his mind and Minato decided to protect the boy's present and leave the future in his hands.

Just as he was thinking where to teleport with the Kyubi to reduce the damage he suddenly looked in a certain direction, his face growing grim and teleported with the Kyubi and Gamabunta.

Aiko did not let the opportunity slip as he pressed on attacking the creature as it moved back and realised that with the increase in the speed at which he made the chakra collide with each other, the temperature of the flames increased.

"It's not fun anymore," said the creature in a high pitch voice as if feeling annoyed by him and increased the speed of its attacks aiming for his fatal points accurately.

'It wasn't using its full power, before' thought Aiko as it's speed was almost twice of his own even after he had enhanced it with his chakra.

Aiko was starting to get scratches on his body, even though not fatal due to his prompt evasion, were a sign that he was getting pushed back the wounds on his back which were healed a little also opened up soaking his bandage with blood.

'I need to end this in a single attack' thought Aiko, gathering Chakra in his arms and edge of his sword as he avoided the attacks with narrow scopes moving a little closer to the creature and observing its attack pattern.

'Now!' he thought as the creature pulled its hand back to charge for another strike and during that split second gap Aiko detonated his gathered chakras swinging his arms which moved in a blur, cutting the creature in half horizontally.

But instead of its death Aiko felt the life force of the creature split in two as the white part and the black part separated from each other, The amputated Black parts joined together as if it had not received any damage while the lower half of the white part entangled his legs fixing him in place.

The top half of the white part moved towards Kushina, its hand morphing into a spike as if planning to attack her.

"How dare you injure me" hissed the Black half, but its voice now deep and filled with hatred as its hands morphed into a claw which aimed at Aiko's torso.

'I need more offensive skills.' thought Aiko as the hand neared him, he threw the sword in his hands towards the white half impaling it but the creature still moved swiftly as if not affected by it.

'I have to take them to a different location as soon as the black part touches me and detonate my chakra trying to kill them with me.' he thought because he judged that the attack if it hit him would be a fatal one.
