10. The Toad Sage Who is Singularly Pervy

The man had spiky long white hair, with red markings under his eyes, he wore a red overcoat with white baggy pants and a dreadful smile on his face with a notepad in his hand.

He looked to be in his late twenties, but Aiko sensed a large amount of chakra from his body, the second largest he had seen till now overwhelming him, but quickly his calm mind skill kicked in and he became calm again.

"Hehehehe" laughed the man dreadfully, looking at his notepad, as few ladies holding brooms came out of the bathhouse clearly angry.

Aiko also noticed a strange headband on forehead, it had 'Oil' written on it, instead of the normal leaf symbol.

'Enemy shinobi?' He thought as he had heard from Ichiro that all the shinobis from different villages have their own head bands and it was also a simpler way to recognise their affiliations.

Thinking that he could be a spy Aiko coated his body with chakra and dashed towards him trying to kick his head.

But just as the kick connected, the man's chakra signature vanished and he appeared behind him. The thing he kicked turned out to be a wood stump.

'Substitution jutsu' thought Aiko increased his senses and reflexes with instinct manipulation skill and then used the momentum of his kick to rotate as he locked on the chakra of the man who appeared behind him.

"You shouldn't attack strangers" said the man, finally looking up from his notepad, "What a cute...boy?", he added, sounding a bit disappointed at the end.

"Well see ya", he said, suddenly disappearing as the women holding the brooms reached the place.

Aiko was stunned by his speed as he had disappeared from his sensing range in a matter of seconds.

After getting his cheeks pinched and treated to sweets by the women he had helped, Aiko, feeling a bit tired, decided to turn back.

'Let's go home' he thought while walking back.

As Aiko was walking towards home, The white haired man already reached it while mumbling "Man, kids these days are so rude, not showing respect to the elders.."

As the man entered the gates a yellow light flashed as Minato appeared in front of the man.

"Jiraiya Sensei, you have returned" he said bowing, as he had sensed the man's chakra and came here to meet him.

"Oh....Minato-kun congratulations, I heard the news and came running back," he replied laughing loudly.

"Thank you, sensei" said Minato, "Come on in, Kushina-chan will be happy to meet you", he said, inviting Jiraiya inside the house.

Once inside the house, the duo met with Kushina and sat around the living room talking about the events that had happened since they last met.

Minato not only viewed Jiraiya as a teacher, but also his family member, being an orphan, the support and teachings of Jiraiya were what shaped him to be the man he is now.

"Sensei, we are planning to name our child as Naruto if it is a boy and Naruko if it is a girl, based on your first book" said Minato surprising Jiraiya.

"Are you sure? I came up with that name while eating ramen, you know," Jiraiya said, rubbing his head.

"I think that it is beautiful, I want my child to inherit those qualities of kindness, determination and hope" said Minato.

"Then, will I be the godfather of the child?" asked Jiraiya, rubbing his hands in excitement.

"Yes, we will be honored" said Kushina, " but, I will not allow you to teach the child anything weird" she added.

Just when he was about to refute that he was a gentleman, he heard an immature voice call out behind him.

"Pervert-san?", Aiko called recognising the white-haired man who was sitting on the couch as soon as he entered the house.

"Where did you learn that word Aiko-kun?"asked Kushina, looking at him with a dangerous gaze.

"That is what the ladies near the bathhouse called him, when they chased after him with brooms?"answered Aiko honestly, confused and intimidated by Kushina's gaze.

"You are causing trouble again, Sensei," said Minato, rubbing his forehead.

"I was just collecting material for research, for research." Said Jiraiya laughing loudly.

"Look boy, I am Mt. Myōboku's hermit sage, also known as Toad sage, the great Jiraiya sama," he said, appearing in front of Aiko.

'Sage?' thought Aiko confused.

"Is he the rumoured Uzumaki?" said the man looking at the couple, "he is quite skilled" he added.

"It seems the words travel fast," said Minato, frowning a little.

"No, not so fast, but there are people who constantly observe konoha and it's Hokage: you, they try to find deeper meaning in all your actions" Jiraiya said.

"You should be careful, after all not everybody wants to see the bloodlines of the yellow flash prosper" he warned

Minato and Kushina's expression also got serious and that was the reason they were keeping the news of pregnancy a secret except for some very close people.

"Ok, it's time for lunch, it's been ages since I ate Kushina-chan's cooking," said Jiraiya, lightening the mood.

'Is there some type of problem?' thought Aiko, listening in on their conversation, he didn't have much knowledge about other villages and political systems of this world.

After lunch Aiko went back to studying scrolls, while Minato and Jiraiya were sitting in the garden drinking tea.

"I heard the news about Amegakure," said Minato with a solemn expression on his face.

"Yeah…" Jiraiya sighed, "I should have brought them back to the village with me back then… but they wanted to improve their hometown" he added his face sad.

"I don't know when this cycle of hatred will end, or will my destiny be fulfilled?" said Jiraiya, lying down on the grass and looking at the sky.

Minato also looked at this mentor of his and sighed in his heart, even though he was the hokage now, it only placed a lot of restrictions on him and only by standing at the top of the power system did he understand how deep the hatred in the ninja world went.

"I heard there was Konoha's involvement in this matter, do you have any idea about it?" he heard a voice and a heavy pressure descended on his body which was equal to his as he looked at his master's cold eyes.

"No, I only came to know about it after the incident, it was reported that both the organization and the government suffered serious losses, I couldn't extend any aid as it would be a violation of the peace treaty" answered Minato without flinching.

"I knew you weren't involved, but there was involvement of konoha's forces in this incident, so be careful" he sighed thinking, 'what is that old man doing pushing his mess on my disciple?'.

In the third hokage's house the old man sneezed loudly thinking 'Who is scolding me?'

"I am going to Amegakure next, to meet with them," Jiraya said, Thinking about the rumours regarding his second apprentice in recent months.

"Be careful Sensei, and don't worry, I have a feeling that my child will be the child of prophecy" said Minato trying to cheer up his master.

"Then I will accept him as my disciple, hahahaha" said Jiraiya, acting cheerful, 'That's right, I can only look forward,' he thought, looking at the birds flying across the sky.
