the small conflict

joshua began explaining, taking small glances at the road as he did so.

"and... i lost my temper." he finished softly. joshua turned to look at seojin who was listening attentively. joshua looked down at his lap.

seojin watched silently as joshua began to explain the situation. seojin remained silent as joshua recounted the whole thing again to show seojin exactly how much trouble he was in. once joshua finished, joshua glanced over at seojin and watched as he listened carefully. seojin frowned and pursed his lips together and furrowed his eyebrows before nodding.

"alright..." he whispered softly. joshua smiled slightly.

"so, how does it sound when someone gets into your business?" joshua said teasingly. seojin gasped lightly before shrugging his shoulders and smiling.

"not good. i mean, i understand the situation, and i want to help you too, but this is kinda serious." seojin said thoughtfully.

"you don't even know who i'm dealing with. you have no idea how dangerous this could get." seojin continued. joshua's expression darkened at seojin's statement. seojin frowned. "but hyung. you have no ideayou're so stupid!" he snapped suddenly. joshua stared at seojin with widened eyes in surprise. seojin had his hands balled into fists and he glared at joshua angrily.

joshua gulped and tried to hide the hurt expression he was making. "what? no-" he tried to argue, but was immediately cut off by seojin.

"no! not 'what'? no you're so idiotic. you don't even care that it could be very bad or even illegal, right? all you care about is yourself! god, why can't you take any responsibility for yourself? you know nothing about how dangerous all of this could be. and if you ever cared about anyone but yourself, you would at least try to keep your friends safe." seojin snarled.

the two of them were both breathing heavily and seojin's voice had started getting louder.

joshua was quiet. seojin's rant was honestly hurting him a lot more than he'd care to admit. joshua swallowed hard.

"look. i get it okay? this isn't just a game anymore. i get that you might not think that but it could easily be life threatening. but the only person you should be worrying about right now is you.
