Chapter 52: Trip

Kumas entered the room, his X-ray had already told him who was in there, however seeing that they were different than they were on his X-ray, he caught something weird.

The shade of colours were different than when he looked through the X-ray skill, it gave him a chill as he never noticed it before.

'But to be fair, I really only tried it in the dark.'

He shook his head and got back into attention, he saw them all look at him, Cindy spoke, "I brought him, so now what is it?'

Cindy did not know Kumas' reason for being here, he did not like that she just simply called him over, just because somebody else did. He was glad Jim was not here, but he felt odd at the same time, he saw Billy just look his average self: a buff boy.

"Right the reason I wanted to talk to you was because of the trip," Kumas looked confused at him, it was a silent remark, however it felt like he got punched and screamed at multiple times as he said that.

'He doesn't want me to go?'

Kumas had already made conclusions that he was going to stop him and pressure him to stop it. He looked back at him, not showing the same powerful face as him. Kumas spoke, "Why?"

He blinked, "you haven't even heard what I was going to say." He gave looked puzzled at him, as if he saw another person in front of him. His foot twisted a bit, and he looked back at Silvy, hoping for reassurance.

"Well, I can guess from what you mean." Kumas crossed his arms, even though being a small skinny person, showing his resolve not to stay down. Cindy did not interfere, she did not even go to Ray. Kumas tilted back, afraid, Billy spoke, but no showing any desperation, he kept his shivers inside.

"If you want to that's fine, but I don't think I will be able to help you, I will pay for it." He tilted his head high, positioning himself upwards towards him. He towered over the deformed man like a mountain, with no equipment.

Somebody started to get agitated, Cindy squealed, "why do you have to pay?"

Billy was about to speak, being vexed by the comment, when Kumas spoke for him, "I already payed for it, so don't act like that," he looked at Cindy, given a blue moon gaze at her. Billy blinked a bit, but before speaking, Silvy moved in.

"So you already payed for the trip, that's great, that's just what we wanted," pushing out a smile, and hugging his head, latching her arm around his head and pulled a fist. Billy did not move. Ray stood there, motionless like a man on regiment. His stern look did not leave Kumas, but ignored every other comrade.

He moved up to him after seeing there acceptance. "It will be fine then won't it," he did not change his facial expression, but he gestured his hand up towards him.

Billy was the only person, backing away from them, seeing the as strangers. He sighed and said, "yes we wanted you to go to the trip, is that alright?"

Kumas finally realised and said, "yeah that is fine, but what about Jim?"

Silvy sternly replied, "you don't need to worry about him, pointing at Billy. She smiled pridefully and Kumas chuckled, he saw Cindy just move in closer and give a smug look. "So why were you going on the trip then? Do you have a crush?"

She elbowed him in the chest lightly, Kumas blushed and shook his hands at her, "no no no, I am serious, I don't." He moved a bit back, his hands waved in denial, however, Ray moved in.

She clicked her fingers, and Cindy brought out Ray from behind. He wrapped his arms around his neck, bending over to math his height. "Come on now, you can tell."

Even Silvy joined in, "do you really have one?"

He kept on getting mobbed by the questions that he stopped talking, he was about to collapse if Billy had not interfered.

"Stop it, just leave him, you can go Kumas," all looked at him, giving an annoyed face. It pushed them to move closer to Kumas, however stepped back quickly and waved god bye, smiling like a child. "Bye!"

He squealed and clammed the door.

BAM!

The lot had stared at the door for a while, then they looked at him, Billy shook his head, sighing.

Kumas had left the room he was not expecting the turn of event, being called by Cindy and then he finds out that they wanted him to go to the trip, he felt a bit weird.

'Is this reallly..... No, what are they up to.'

Kumas did not trust them so he walked up, thinking of what to bring. He had walked all the way back to the field, however to his surprise, break was over and now it was time for the final lesson of the day.

He walked over to the classroom, when an unusual figure popped up. He saw him enter the room and curious, he moved in. He used his X-ray and saw what he was looking at it, he was around a corner, close to his classroom, as it was a few rooms down, people were lined up. He acted natural, but he stared at the wall intently.

During those five seconds he had seen a majestic creature stick out that he completely forgot to look at the other two people next to it.

"OOOH MAN!!!" He screamed, not carrying what other people thought, but Kumas could not resist for one fatal reason: he loved animals.

Kumas' one favourite one is a dog, he would love to have an pet one, and keep on, so when he saw it, he flipped out. His brain puffed out a heart of smoke, as the dog stood proudly there.

'I read in a book about this species, are they not used in military or something?'

He nodded his head as he confirmed the species of the tall hound, it was a German shepherd. His fur was light brown as the bark of a sprouting tree in summer. His claws were black as ink from the pen were you wrote love stories on, sharp as they may be, but also cut at the perfect size to be harmless and deadly at the same time.

His pink tongue waggling out, and a waterfall of slob and goo slowly dripping, as a river blocked exiting through a cliff. Kumas vibrated like a smart phone, whishing he could firmly take a picture of that incredible specimen.

'I want to pat the dog, oooh.'

He blinked a while as he had been staring at the wall for a good few seconds, once the realisation hit harder than a dog pouncing on him, he straightened himself and moved over to the entrance of the class, were students had already started piling up. Kumas remembered from the top of his brain, and with the best mental image he had ever taken

'The man next to him was wearing black.'

He leaned against the white wall at the end of the lie. He stationed himself quietly and kept on thinking.

'Why am I even caring about this?... He has a dog.'

Kumas had pushed thoughts aside of what reason he was thinking of who the man was. It was a bit strange to find a German shepherd on school ground. His logical instinct was telling him something bad had happened, but he wanted to just look at the shepherd again, with his face, grinning like a child finding out he had just pooped in the toilet.

It was a pleasant mouthful which people did not expect from Kumas at all when looking at him. They ignored him and let him enjoy his peaceful time. The students started to slowly enter the classroom, Kumas was ready and awakened, he knew who the teacher was, so he had just to look at the man who was in black.

'Men in black, huh?'

He motioned towards the doo, being a few centre metre behind the person in front, he grabbed the ledge and looked inside, wanting to be surprised and see the dog. His feet twisted quickly out towards the entrance, his hand was pressing hard against the edge of the grey door frame. He took a breath, all happening in a single second and he turned.

He looked at the floor immediately.

'oh, oh my god.'

The way this classroom worked was that you entered from the back of the classroom, so he just had to walk straight to enter the dark corner of the class. He sat down, still looking down, however, instead of the shiny floor, he looked at the rotting wood of the table.

Kumas was shivering and gulped.

'Here goes nothing.'

He looked up.

'HUH!!'

There was no dog.
