Chapter 40: Helpful Phone

Entering a phone shop felt like a dream to him, he would never expect to get enough money to buy one so what was the point. He ogled around, then found the phone, he looked at it and started working things out.

'Ok so this is the search bar, then this is the apps, and..'

It took a while, but he saw people who were longer in here, and they were before him, so he did not have a lot of doubt.

The shop was massive, a ceiling which was three metres in the air, the lights hanging off for a metre, a tall guy could jump up and hit one. The tables had all sorts of electronics on them, each separated into three longs tables to each side, and then there were six more again, just giving a slight gap to move through.

On the walls were mounted televisions, and even laptops and so much more. Kumas ignored them as he was too busy focusing on the device.

'So this is how, ok.'

He got the hang of using it and searched up all the things he needed to search up.

'How to open a video game screen?'

He canned through the results but came back empty handed, it showed examples, and what you would have, he tried all the names but all failed.

He stared at the examples.

'Inventory is mentioned... open inventory.'

[Level is too low]

He looked surprised at the aqua window to his left, however, he quickly disregarded that he was around people, and confusion occurred. A lady, who was on the other smart phone next to him, stared at him when giving such expression. He smiled awkwardly and went back doing his own thing.

'So if they mentioned it, I should try other things as well.'

He came to a speed bump again, but he kept on seacrhing, he changed the website and checked what he was looking for. Kumas was giving up even finding a solution when a though arose again.

'Skill was a reward, wasn't it. what is that? Like some power?'

He typed it up and he did not realise that he was spending time on it. He blinked when he looked at the time.

'Oh, no, this is bad, but I have to search this up, then I can leave.'

Kumas did it lightening fast, but the guard that was coming behind him. He felt a man, stamping his foot walk in his direction and he popped up the definition of a 'video game skill', he got miss lead by the results and just left, turning to his right, through the lengthy table, in between the gap of the table and out of the entrance. The body guard stared at him until he left, there was a bit of a crowd at the entrance and he scooched passed.

The guys and girls looked mad at him, and said something, he just waltzed out of there rapidly. When he left, a daunting feeling came over him.

'Where do I stay?'

His arms drooped down from sadness, he was in the plaza, close to the fountain he walked passed before. He sighed.

'Open skills.'

To his surprise, it worked, he smiled when it showed, however, he did not like what it showed.

[Skills: none]

He pouted his face when he looked at it but inevitably gave in.

'Why don't I have any skills, wait, isn't this good, I have a chance to get skills and Exp, this is perfect. Since exp raises your level, I might be able to open something, this is amazing.'

Kumas looked accomplished at the sky, as it slowly darkened.

'Now, where am I going to stay for the night?'
