Chapter 31: Hiding

"Aaaaargh," he groaned loudly when he leaned up, he turned, puzzled by where he was.

'What the hell, wasn't I in the hallway, as I…"

He turned around and saw the nurse getting up, looking at him concerned. He blinked confused at her. She sighs and says," you were found on the floor, unconscious, you were still breathing, so we brought you here."

She said it the same way as he would get from being beaten up, he smiled, "it's alriiiiiigggghhhht…."

His mouth drooped as he looked at the clock. He swiftly turned his head out of the window to see the sun setting in the distant.

'Ooooh man, I AM GONNA BE LATE!!!'

He looked at the nurse, but she did not bother as she was sitting on her chair again.

'At least have some empathy.'

He turned and left. His face was flushed up, not knowing what to do.

"I have to move on and push to find that way," he spoke calmly to himself as stomping off to the reception to not only leave but talk.

Kumas was hit flat on his face when the receptionist was not there.

'Come on, where is she?'

He gave up and was about to leave, then he heard talking. It was someone he knew all too well.

'Great, what is this?'

He stayed in the school, snooping at what the pair were saying.

"I don't know what to do, really, they were acting weird just leaving him, why should we listen to them if him," the guy was speaking in an annoyed tone. A girl spoke in a high-pitched voice, "I don't know, they aren't telling us something, hmmm."

'Why do Cindy and Jim have to pop up, wait, are they going to leave me alone?'

Kumas though about all the options, but he did not want to get attacked, so he just stayed in his small hidden area. They were outside, simply walking past, which he found strange.

'Why are they in school, and also, why are they just walking past, is there something here?'

"But you have to admit, that meeting was funny, "the girl laughed, the Jim made a weird sound. "Like, when you were juggling that water and fell down, that was good," she kept on laughing.

"Yeah, yeah, laugh all you want, I was doing it to be cool. So don't you push this on me, alright," Jim would have raised his voice, but he was talking in an embarrassing way, she kept on giggling.

'What the hell, why am I noticing this now.'

"Well, I am not the only one," they stopped Infront of the glass door of the reception, Kumas cursed and went behind the wall of where the receptionist was.

He quickly swirled of to the area and looked from afar as the two were just looking at each other, Cindy had a puffy smile compared to Jim, who was a bit red, she put a smug face on, "oh, you are blushing?"

She teased him about it, moving up close to him, almost staring him down. He felt a bit intimidated, but he moved on, "no it's cold, that's all, also when you fell over, and then ray rejected your help, that was funny," he started to laugh, Cindy put both her hands behind her, hiding them from him. They were clenching in fists as she respected smiled at him, "don't be like that."

Kumas felt a shudder, quickly moving at the wall where they could not see him.

'No, no, you are going to die, the only people to have heard- oh man."

He turned again to see her fists; they were trembling. Kumas went back and shook his head. He shook his head and took a breath, remembering when last he heard that.

It was in some baths tall, the place was grey, with dark-white tiles, the window was shining the corrupted sun, blaring directly at the girl, she was towering over him, it was Cindy.

Although the girl was puffy, she had just punched the hell out of Kumas, blood was pouting form his crushed mouth, battered face, scrunched up shoulders, and clumped up bones. She glared at him, practically spitting on him. However, she held back as another beast emerged from the dangerous shadow: it was billy. He was not smiling, not giving a depressed look, he was thinking. Kumas was looking at the floor, his eyes were covered by his hair, also having drops of blood on them. His eyes were twitching one at a time.

He had a black shade to him; Billy saw it from the top. He glanced at Cindy and said, "you went ape-$&*£ on him," he said it causally in front of Kumas. Cindy turned glaring at him. It was a simple remark made by Jim who spoke earlier, he did not know about her issues.

"When he said, that, I look like a dog," she clenched her teeth, the barked out, "IT PISSED ME OFFF!!!"

She kicked Kuma's foot, making it bounced of the floor, and moving his body. His whole body was on the floor, laying as if it was a corpse. It was abrupt and out of know where, Ray entered.

"Hey, billy, I was lo-"

He saw the scene; he was not a person who could easily be tricked. Billy moved closer to Kumas from the stalls. He was standing there, and he made Cindy turn around and covered her hands. It was in a quick motion, but Kumas did not looked at it, he just saw the feet, blinking every second, rotting on the floor.

Ray looked at Billy, the big man was the first to ask the question, "hello Ray, what can I do for you?"

He acted calm and Cindy looked at him, admirable, but bit her lip straight away when she remembered the other girl, Slivy.

"Should I punch her too?"

She twitched her eye once, then it came out of know where.

SLAP!!!

Ray had moved very quickly in, and slapped Cindy on the face. Billy looked surprised, so did Cindy and she moved back, showing her bloody, bruised hands. Kumas heard it and saw the movement, not changing his expression.

"I am not stupid, if you want to, then come here," Cindy slowly turned her face in his direction, Billy looked perplex, but then a quick glance from Kumas to Ray. "Try hi-"

Before he could finish his sentence, she pounced at him. She gave a pissed expression on her face, as if she wanted to maul him.

It did not take a detective to figure out what was wrong with her, Kumas always questioned it, but never understood it, then when he heard people talking about it, he put to and to together.

'Cindy had anger issues.'
