10 Chapter 9
The Capital of the land of Earth looked so lively, the low level stone buildings and family pavilions densely packed the city
Streets filled with a different kind of people, from merchants to normal civilians.
On one of the street of the downtown area, which was the business district where lots of merchants come together to sell their goods, there was one person who was attracting unwanted attention
He was wearing a samurai armor. His armor was all black, with four plates protecting his legs attached to it, one left shoulder pad, and matching arm and leg guards. Underneath his armour, he wears a dark suit.
Other than his black armour, his lavish long white hair also made the surrounding people wonder who he was.
'I need to buy clothes and maybe a straw hat. I can't stand people looking at me like this wherever I go' Thought Okuninushi while looking around the streets.
As he was busy looking around for a glue that would help him, a lot of people kept whispering about him being a samurai.
"Look, it's a samurai"
"Did he defect from his clan?"
"Low your voice down"
Getting tired of the people talking on his back, Okuninushi turned around and walked towards the trio of merchants that were talking about him.
Seeing Okuninushi walking toward them, the merchants quickly wear their business faces and welcomed him.
"Welcomed! Dear customer"
"Can I ask you something?" Said Okuninushi as he stopped right in front of them
"Of course"
"Is there a mercenary branch around here?"
"Uuh? You want to work as a mercenary?"

Slowly yet with caution, Okuninushi turned to look at the person behind him.
He wasn't able to see the person's face due to the straw hat on his head, but knew that the guy in front of him must a shabby person.
"I'm looking for a job, a well-paid job" Said Okuninushi
"A job. You came all the way from the country of iron just to find a job. Are there no jobs in the country of iron?"
"That is none of your business. I have my reasons to be here now if you would excuse me I..."
"I already know about the fact that you want to be a mercenary. I'm here to take you to one of our branch" said the man as he turned around and started walking away. "Follow me".
'Seems like my motives reached him quickly than I thought, ' thought Okuninushi as he started following him.
'I should stay focus and caution'
The two of them walked for a couple of minutes until they reached a normal looking stone house.
" Welcome, " said the man as he opened the door.
It was just a single room with only a table and chair at the center.
"Okay, let's do some registration for you," said the man as he sat down the chair and took a scroll and ink brush. "If you want to be mercenary, then that's mean you must be in our system, so let's start with your name"
"Okuninushi"
"Age and what do you specialized"
"...22, kenjutsu"
"Code name"
"Code name??"
"Yes, we usually use code name here so you need to have one"

The paper had a photo and some information about the target that needed to be killed.
