Purgatory World

In the mystical realm of purgatory, a crumbling sky castle bore witness to a gruesome scene. A young man, covered in blood, sat on a throne while nearby lay the lifeless body of an old devil, stabbed with a jade sword.

"Hades... I still can't fathom your motivations," the young man murmured, a strange glint in his eyes.

"So many worlds shattered, and half the gods met their end in this ruthless war," he continued, his body slowly fading.

"What a theatrical end for a god like me... hahaha." Despite his fate, the young man smiled, gazing at the fractured castle ceiling as a bright light hurtled toward him from the sky.

"Bear... Protect her for me. Goodbye, my friend," he whispered, closing his eyes and vanishing.

The jade sword, once embedded in the devil's corpse, transformed into a cute panda and crawled towards the throne.

"Master... I will always protect your wife and keep your memory alive," sobbed the panda, kneeling beside the empty throne.

Above the broken ceiling, the light the young man had seen descended beside the panda.

"SAM!!! Must I remind you not to trick Pao with your antics? Do you want me to lock you up again?" scolded a soft voice as the light transformed into a fierce goddess adorned in armor.

The throne emitted a green smoke, from which emerged a figure—a young man—falling at the goddess's feet.

"No! D-dear, I'm so sorry! It's just that this idiot ate all my immortal dragon fruit from the garden yesterday," stammered the young man, named Sam, while kneeling before the goddess.

"No, master's wife! Master, you're the one who told me to eat it, saying it made loud noises whenever you... um...," protested Pao, revealing his master's antics.

"Silence! Bear, you—" Before the young man could finish, he was kicked into the broken ceiling by the goddess, and Pao was sent flying too.

"They never learn... This war has ended," sighed the goddess in relief. She glanced back at the devil's corpse before flying away, hoping never to see him again.

The devil moved his finger, drawing a symbolic sign with his blood on the ground. The symbol expanded, covering his body, and a giant demonic hand emerged, pulling him beneath.

Samsara World

A Million Years Later

In a picturesque landscape of mountains and a serene lake, a grand palace floated at the lake's center. Two giant serpents, their jade scales glistening, coiled around the mountains.

" Luxus?" a goddess asked, spotting a giant armored man with a halberd approaching her in the palace hallway.

"Your highness, the Supreme has descended to the mortal world," the giant reported, kneeling before her.

"Let him be. That fool won't learn unless he wants to face death. I'm going to rest," the goddess replied, walking past the giant.

"But, your highness Su—" The giant was about to reveal that the Supreme went for mortal world girls, but he feared the goddess might punish him for sharing the Supreme's hidden agenda.

"What?!" The goddess glared at the giant, considering whether to force the truth out of him.

"N-nothing, Your Highness. I'll leave now." The giant hastily retreated, fearing the goddess might figure out his thoughts.

'That fool! Causing trouble wherever he goes.'

"PAO!" The goddess's shout echoed through the palace, startling the surrounding creatures and making them flee. Even the two serpents awoke from their slumber.

A floating jade sword suddenly materialized beside the goddess, transforming into a panda.

'I'm de-dead for sure!' Pao thought.

"Master's wife, I didn't mean to expose your nighttime wit—" Pao began, but his tongue stopped him.

"Calm down, you silly bear. I just want you to follow your master to the mortal world and stop him from being reckless," the goddess instructed, showing an image of a falling young man on a small planet.

"Whoa!! Why is the master going to the mortal world?!" Pao exclaimed excitedly.

"I want you to find out. Stop him if he does something I won't like!" The goddess's killing intent radiated through her words.

"Y-y-yes, m-master's wife, I'll monitor master," Pao stammered, returning to a sword as he flew out of the palace, disappearing into the sky. The goddess sighed, gazing in the direction Pao had flown.

'I'll surely not tell the master's wife what I find, or my head will be gone in a second.' Pao thought, returning to sword form as he soared away, vanishing into the sky.
