1 Chapter 1 "Confusion"

In a traditional Japanese house on a small hill surrounded by blooming Sakura Trees were two sisters currently looking at recent events in their world.

Kaga was sitting with a newspaper in hand while Akagi was busy eating.

" And anything important that we have to look over? " Kaga asked her sister.

" Actually there is something that we will have to look into. "

" And what is that? " Kaga put the newspaper away since it is unusual that both of them have to look into it.

" We have split our duty's how can it involve both of us? Please elaborate. "

" Well we have now the option to use our trains to supply our troops and Railway guns could become an option soon too. Those Train tracks need to be build by me while the trains fall in your management. "

Kaga looked a bit confused.

" Why can we use trains only now? It's 1946? "

" Well dear sister it's almost like some strange power prevented us from using them. Anyways I will start some Railway construction from Tokyo to Nagasaki in a couple days. What do you plan to do

today? "

Kaga sighed.

" The same as the last weeks, I will continue to oversee the Battle cruiser program. We will need more of them if we want to keep up with the Americans. "

Akagi finished her Meal, stood up and went towards the exit.

" Well I'm going to read the daily reports and then get some relaxing time in the hot tub. Good luck with your ships. "

Meanwhile in the Russian Government

" Okay what is so important that you have to wake me up twice. The first time because of an unusual Earthquake I can understand but why again? "

Prime Minister put in charge by Akagi for the Russian Empire Dimitri was annoyed to have his sleep disturbed twice.

" Well Mr. Prime Minister here is the reason why we had to wake you up again. "

There Diplomat handed a folder to Dimitri who opened it hoping that it is something that could wait so he can return to his favorite use of time. Sadly that wasn't the case.

" Are you kidding me? "

" No sir I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. "

" So what you are telling me is that somehow the Ural Mountain range is now adjacent to an unknown Ocean and all the land west from them is gone. Adding that everything west from former Iran is now ocean as well? "

" Yes Mr. Prime Minister we have already confirmed the reports with scout planes and reports from locals. "

" Have you tried establishing contact with the nations that are supposed to be their? "

" Yes we have tried. We tried to contact every nation. But we only got response from Nations in Asia as well as a couple British and Americans who seem to have lost contact with their Homeland. Everything outside of Asia seems dead. "

Dimitri turned away and sighed.

" Okay are Akagi and Kaga informed about this? "

The Diplomat shook his head.

" No the Officials stated that they will notify them as soon as they arrive to get their daily report. "

Dimitri nodded in approval.

" Good. Tell our Air force to conduct Scout flights in the directions of Africa and Europe. "

" I will tell them immediately. Should we ask our Navy to patrol our new coasts too? "

Dimitri thought about it before approving.

" But tell them to be careful. We have no idea how deep the water in these new areas are. "

The Diplomat left to carry out the orders and Dimitri went towards his office. In such times there is no time to sleep.

Hawaii, Pearl Harbor

General Douglas Mc Arthur was sitting in his office while listening to the new reports.

" General we had now for multiple hours no contact with the rest of America. "

" Did Guam and other Islands respond to our radio transmission? "

" All US held territories in the pacific have responded but there hasn't been any response from Alaska, Panama or the Caribbean. Do you have an idea what all of this could be about? "

General Mc Douglas sighed and looked on a map.

" It could very well be an attack by the Sakura Empire but seeing that the Islands closest to them respond without a problem while the territories furthest from them haven't even responded. "

Arthur Mc Douglas looked at his Officers and continued.

" Of course the Sakura Empire could try to cut the communications between us and the Mainland but that happened already hour ago. It is unclear what is happening but wen need to be ready. Keep having patrol aircraft in the air and a minimum amount of AA guns active at all times. If the Sakura Empire attacks we want to be prepared but if it has nothing to do with what is happening right now, we don't want to start a war. "

Another officer entered the office giving a quick salute.

" Sir we managed to reestablish contact with the Philippines and we were contacted by the Russian Empire. "

Arthur Mc Douglas stood up and moved towards the exit of his office.

" Well then. We shouldn't keep them waiting. Maybe they have information's about our current predicament. "
