"Fancy meeting you here, Saintess." Aceras greeted Serenia with a warm, gentle smile.

'Does everyone in this place have a habit to put up a fake smile wherever they go?' Serenia scoffed.

She was an expert at perceiving others' thoughts and emotions just by casually observing them. It was crystal clear to her that Aceras' personality was far from genuine, like Elias.

"..I suppose so," Serenia replied coldly, sighing in disappointment at the loss of those birds' company. She would've loved to spend more time with them, as it was her first experience being in close contact like that.

"Aww, you say that, but by the sound of it.. you don't seem very impressed." Aceras complained.

'It's good that you're self aware.'

"You reek of death." Serenia casually commented. "Where have you been? Disposing targets again?" She emphasized on the last word 'again', pointing to the fact that Aceras has been doing this for a long time.
