"Aceras..!" Serenia gritted her teeth, unconsciously moving forward to shield Alia from the man.

'I let my guard down. I should've known that Elias could retaliate in this kind of form.' Serenia's gaze darkened.

"Oh, why are you avoiding me like I'm the plague or something?" Aceras acted pitiful, tilting his head and pretending to not know anything.

"..Three times." Serenia said. "This is the third time, what is your excuse today?"

Serenia was hinting towards their frequent meetups. Each one was not spaced far away, which typically shouldn't happen considering how little she loitered around.

"Well~ Naturally, the Saintess should know best. You are going out to town, and you can't not be accompanied by qualified guards, right? The First Cardinal asked if I could be your escort, and I readily agreed~" Aceras said.

"There is no need for it to specifically be you, though!"
