76 HELENA'S HEALING

"I expect you to act like a Saintess towards everyone who needs your help. It seems that you are displaying the behaviour of being selfish." Alexander commented as soon as Helena arrived at the door, pouting.

"I didn't know it was Felicia who needs my—"

"You there!" Alexander cut her off before she could finish her words, pointing at the servant who called Helena. Everyone flinched at his thundering voice, completely filled with anger.

"What did you say towards Helena?" He asked the servant who squirmed under his darkened gaze. He could kill someone right now with his looks alone, what more if he's provoked?

"I-I personally told her that the Young master requires her presence to attend to her Ladyship but she refuses to hear me out and told me to get lost." The servant said, trembling as she tried not to look down.

Alexander hates it when someone is talking facing the floor rather than meeting his eyes. "That's not what I said! I never said that!" Helena exclaimed, glaring at the maid who wronged her words, framing her for a lie.

"I can vouch for what Her Holiness said. The servant right over there is telling a lie. My lady was busy with her tasks and said she could come over after her task. That servant over there twisted her words." The appearance of the Knight in shining armor debunked the Maid's claim which resulted in the servant's pale complexion.

"No! That's what I heard, young Master! I heard the second lady say that!" The maid exclaimed as she kneeled in front of Alexander, crying. Yet Alexander just looked at her, coldly as it was.

"If Helena was busy with her task, how come the presence of someone who's injured is less than important with the tasks that you, Baron Leonardo claim? Isn't the gift from the Goddess meant to be shared and should not be denied for those who need help?" Rachelle said, her head turned towards the Baron, her eyes gazing right into him with her coldness.

"The Saintess' ability surely is the gift from the Goddess but we should not forget that she's only a human after all. It's a brazen request for you to call her in the middle of her task without even considering what she was doing or how was she feeling." The Baron commented, glaring at Felicia.

Rachelle smirked, seems like this dog knew how to bark.

"You dare compare the Saintess to a mere human being? The Saintess is a sacred messenger from the Goddess yet you dare to call her a mere human?" Rachelle argued back, frowning over his words. She's twisting his words, controlling the crowds with her aura and her words alone.

"You, a knight, don't even know such basic knowledge about the Saintess? Do you even deserve your position as my sister's knight? I don't think so." She fought back, adding fire to her argument.

The Knight's face immediately went dark as she tried to flip the board, turning everyone's attention to him. It's when the whole room has pointed his knives, and waiting either he'll get stabbed or he'll be able to defend himself with Rachelle's snide remarks.

He shut his mouth, refusing to talk back. She could tell that he was gritting his teeth or biting his bottom lip, trying to control his anger. He put himself in this situation, he should blame himself then.

"Isn't it already a selfish act when my sister refuses to see me as she deemed that her task is more important than helping me, a wounded lady from an attack? To what? Prioritise her duties more than to attend to my help?" Rachelle added.

What's there to stop when she's having fun roasting ducklings? There's no way she'll be stopping her attacks at them. "I get that my sister hates my existence from the very beginning and she doesn't want to be my sister, all I need is the help of the Saint who'll ease my pain... But her hateful behaviour towards me refuses to tend to my simple wish. I just want to be healed..." Felicia spoke, tears rolling down her eyes that shocked everyone.

She was crying, letting out big tears while showing the expression of being hurt and in discomfort. "Look at what you did, Helena. Your sister just wants to be healed yet you're opposing the idea. How bad can you be, Helena? To deny her the access of the Goddess' blessing?" Alexander asked, disappointed in Helena's behaviour as he immediately wiped Felicia's tears.

'Hoe does it feel, Helena? To use the same tactics you used to frame me, now being used to frame you instead? It feels painful, right?' Rachelle thought to herself. She was surrounded by servants and even Alexander, trying to ease her cries.

She could tell that Helena was trembling, not because she was scared, but because of being furious directed at her. Her hands rolled in fists, gripping her palm tightly while glaring at Felicia at how much of a snake she was.

Everyone was even giving her scornful eyes, disapproving of her behaviour. Rachelle let out a smirk, enough for Helena to see how much she is enjoying the attention that Helena wants to have.

She wanted to laugh so hard after noticing that she was even angry at her, her eyes glared at her intensely to the point that they would pop out any moment. She looks like she wants to throw everything her hands get in, to release the anger inside her.

"Please be lenient on my knight, sister. He did nothing wrong. He only protected me from that You're right, I should be the one who shall be blamed for not attending fast. I apologize for how irresponsible I was. Please forgive me, sister. I am not a perfect being after all." Helena apologized, looking down while crying.

The knight beside her seemingly looks like he wants to pull his sword and kill Rachelle. She could feel it, the intent to kill her was burning through the man's eyes. His aura was darker as he tried to appease Helena who cried but only pushed him away and walked towards Rachelle's way to heel her immediately.

Such a kid, returning the scheme by crying while trying to garner everyone's sympathy being directed at her. But oh too bad for her, because everyone is now on Rachelle's side, no one right here is siding with her.

"I forgive you because you are my sweet sister of course... I could not hate you. No one hates you, my dear sister, Helena. We are a family." Rachelle smiled softly like an angel descending on the earth to grace them with blessings.

It was too blinding, now who said that Felicia was a spoiled brat and hates Helena to the core when she's this friendly towards her?

Helena gritted her teeth as she let out her healing ability to aid Rachelle's torn feet. She was kneeling down in front of Rachelle while Rachelle sat down calmly, just trying to feel the power from Helena.

That's when Rachelle realized that it had gotten stronger, much stronger than her ability which made her frown. It was even visible in her face as to why Helena was able to have this much power when the last time she checked it, it was weak.

"Felicia? Felicia!" It suddenly woke her up from her realisation. She was staring at Helena like a doll. If not for Alexander waking her up from her consciousness of thoughts, then she would've revealed her ugly facade.

"Ah, I am very thankful sister, for helping me. Without you, I may not be able to walk without wincing in pain. You truly are the gift bestowed by the Goddess." Rachelle thanked Helena despite her losing her facade from twisting into a frown.

The feeling earlier wasn't giving her a sense of relief. It's as if something unknown, something dark has been applied to her. She couldn't explain the feeling well.

"You are... Welcome, sister." Helena replied, bowing her head as she turned her back then suddenly fell on the floor. If not for the Knight's fast movement then she would've hit herself on the ground.

"What happened to her? Did I empty her?!" Rachelle asked as she tried to stand and staged a play where she was also about to fall, and she did in Alexander's arm, wincing in pain.

She really was fully healed but how will she be able to make everyone believe without acting like a damsel in distress? She had already established that look earlier so she has to stick to it.

"You're not fully healed yet, Felicia. You shouldn't have done that." Alexander sighed. Good thing he caught her fast, carrying her for now.

Felicia just nodded her head, sniffing while looking at Helena's twitching eyes, clearly hurt that Alexander wasn't checking up on her. So it is indeed a scheme. How boring that is, it's not even selling anymore.

"I am just concerned that I might put my sister's health in danger because of my simple request... I shouldn't have done that and just waited for the doctors instead... I apologize for being such a whiny sister, Alexander." She softly said, trying to curry the image that she was worried and feeling sad at the same time.

"No, it was me who had called upon Helena. I shall do something for her in order to repay what she did to you. You just need to relax, Felicia." Alexander replied, shaking his head in disagreement with her statement.

"You there, go bring your Mistress back to her room and call some maids to tend with her needs. I shall expect you to take care of her." Alexander commanded Baron Leonardo who just nodded his head as he carried Helena and left the room with a heavy stomp.

Oh, someone is clearly mad.

"That maid... Please be lenient on her as she only did her job. She doesn't deserve to be punished. Let her not be able to have her dinner and shall pray for the goddess in order to repay her sins." Felicia stated, pointing at the servant who was still kneeling.

"Thank you for your benevolence, Young Lady!" The maid praised, bowing her head while crying in relief. She felt very at ease now, knowing that she wouldn't get any heavy or torturous punishment.

But her hate had increased for Helena. That woman tried to frame her. She will never forget the humiliation she felt towards that woman.

"Alright, if that's what you wish," Alexander said, nodding her head in her request as they moved out of the room. Felicia sighed as she was being carried by Alexander, but at the same time, she was smiling secretly, enlightened by the banter she shared with that guy.

He's also not an easy opponent but much easier to handle than the Pope.
