33 GOT CAUGHT

"What?" Felicia uttered, bewildered by Helena's sudden words. Is she fooling herself? Her? With that foolish man? What the hell, that's the most disgusting thing that she had ever heard from her!

"I'm just saying that although the Crown Prince may show that he likes you, he's just playing with you. I'm the one that he loves to be with! I am the only one who can satisfy him! You are nothing to him than a mere tool for him to succeed!" She exclaimed.

Rachelle's lips parted, in a state of disbelief. This girl is so delusional, clearly, the Crown Prince is toying with her for more power. It's all with his mind games, constantly manipulating everyone to strengthen his power.

This is why Felicia also wanted to emphasize why she needs to break up with the Crown Prince. He certainly is using her for power. Since the Duke's authority will be combined with his authority through marriage, he has the privilege to use the Duke's power and his support to solidify his position even more.

When it comes to Helena, he too is using her to keep an eye on the temple. They look like they are in peace, but Felicia is certain that there's a dispute between the Empire's sovereign and the Holy Land's influence over the people.

Just by tying Helena to his side, he can keep an eye on the temple discreetly and gain access to anything through the Saintess. The Saintess is dumb of course and Rachelle is sure that Constantine is also aware of this fact, therefore he manipulates her in order to put an eye on the temple.

That is simply how Constantine works and it's not new to Rachelle since she's also used it ever since she had arrived and became Felicia. They were like snakes shedding their skins every time, or a man with different masks to suit their environment.

"Sister? Sister! Listen to me! Constantine belongs to me! He's not yours and he will never be yours—" Before Helena could even finish her words, Rachelle had already slammed the door in front of her as she entered her room.

That was quite a loud slam but she didn't care. Her ears were already hurting because Helena spouting nonsense saying she belonged to the crown prince and such. She sure does have the good time of being a delusional woman over some freak.

"Noctua? I got the sword." She said as she removed the ring from her fingers and it immediately turned into a sword. Noctua who was hiding on top of the closet suddenly flew in her direction and landed on her bed, looking at the sword with its wide eyes.

"The sword of Kartara... no one was able to pull that sword. But you... you were able to pull it. Is it heavy?" Noctua asked, tilting its head while Rachelle started to swing the sword as if its weight didn't matter to her.

"Nope... not at all." She said as she continued to swing the sword, trying not to hit herself as she might die immediately. "Have you tried reverting it? I saw you removing the ring and it turned out to be a sword." Noctua asked her, curious about the sword.

"Yup... I had a hard time thinking about what to do with the sword." She said as she closed her eyes and concentrated on making the sword into a ring. She then felt that something was wrapped around her finger, thus she opened her eyes and extended it in front of Noctua to let him see how the sword turned into a ring.

"Woah... the sword is said to be the sharpest sword that was ever created. It could slice anything even if it's the hardest ore that humankind could ever find. It can even slice magic and repel it—"

"What?! Magic exists?!" She suddenly exclaimed, shocked at what Noctua said about her. She gets the fact that this is a fantasy-themed novel and everything exists here but she didn't know that there is an involvement of magic powers here.

"Are you dumb? Your healing ability is considered a magic power but it is not called a magic power. Only Saintesses can wield the sword and the abilities given by the Goddess." Noctua said as it rolled its eyes in annoyance.

Suddenly, both Rachelle and Noctua heard something that fell on the ground as well as something breaking. Both of them turned their heads and were surprised to see Olivia with her eyes widened and her mouth gaping wide.

Olivia was shaking, frozen in her spot while she remained standing while looking at the bird that was talking and Rachelle. It seems that she had seen Rachelle wielding a sword and the sword disappeared from her eyes.

Rachelle who acted fast, ran towards Olivia who was suddenly taken back because of Rachelle. Rachelle was letting out a killing intent while her heart was beating loudly. Shit, she didn't lock the door first! She had witnessed something!

Rachelle removed the ring and it turned into a sword, raising it high and was about to plunge it deep inside Olivia's body but Olivia and Noctua shouted at her, making her stop from her actions.

"Felicia!"

"Please don't kill me, Master!"

Both of them shouted in unison. The Noctua was scared as the sword shall not be used in vain. The sword might curse her for killing an innocent being using her sword. Meanwhile, Olivia fell to the ground, shaking hard as her life flashed right in her eyes.

"P-please my lady! Don't kill me! Please! I won't tell anybody! Please!" She begged. She was practically kneeling with her head on the floor, begging for mercy as she didn't mean to overhear and see them.

She was really frightened, she could feel every nerve on her body was throbbing in fear, especially that Felicia was about to kill her using a sword. Although it is against the law to kill a civilian, Felicia came from an influential family therefore it's not that hard for her to get dismissed.

"I'll do whatever you want Master! Just please let me live!" She continued as silence filled the whole room. Meanwhile, Rachelle could see her little figure shaking in fear while she was begging for her life.

She was frantic earlier, making her act quickly and was about to kill her as if it's not something new to her to kill someone. Plus, she accidentally just saw them talking to each other and revealing something in front of her, it's not her fault to begin with.

But she should've knocked first. If both of them didn't shout, she would've been able to kill her with one blow. Rachelle sighed, good thing she was able to stop herself before she could stab her with a sword.

Her body acted faster than her brain was. As it was being controlled by the sword, immediately ran to her position and aimed it right in her chest.

"You must not use the sword in vain, Felicia. The sword can curse you if you kill an innocent being." Noctua said, flying to her decision and landing on the floor where Olivia was still bowing and begging repeatedly.

"Then what do you want me to do with her? She knew my secret now and the fact that there was a talking bird hiding in my room. Since you ordered me not to kill her, how am I supposed to shut her mouth?" Felicia asked towards the bird with a sarcastic tone.

She just can't let Olivia wander around and talk about what happened today. She will be immediately discovered by the temple and her family and she might get used once again, just like what happened in the original.

"Cut off her tongue. But don't use the sword, I'm sure you have a letter knife or anything that can cut her tongue." The bird said, without even blinking. This bird is kinda of merciless when it comes to handling someone.

"No, please! I will shut my mouth! I won't speak of this to anyone! Please master! I want to live!" Olivia said, crying as she heard their conversation with the bird. The bird looks like those birds that were depicted as the bird of death—the symbol of death.

"How can we make sure that you will not talk about this matter? I'm sure you know how wild I can be when I'm mad." Felicia said, thrusting the sword just right before her head, enough to cut off some of her hair.

Olivia quivered as she felt the sword's aura just beside her head. The sword was sharp and she could be instantly killed because of it. "I-I will forcefully forget about what happened tonight and I will never think of what happened tonight! Just please, let me live. I am good at shutting my mouth!" She exclaimed, desperate to live as she could see her thread was getting cut off.

"You will believe her?" Noctua asked, tilting its head as it turned around, looking at Felicia as it awaited her decision about what to do with the maid who had seen Felicia and Noctua.

"Alright. Let her live, she's a good servant. I'm sure she won't tell everyone about what she saw right now. But if she does," she said cutting off her words first before pulling the sword and once again thrust it just beside her head, making her shriek in fear.

"She'll die in my hands if she ever lets her lips on the loose," Felicia said with a menacing voice that made Olivia pass out in fear. Silence suddenly emerged in the room as Rachelle didn't expect Olivia to pass out due to fear. Was she really that scary?
