C21. Hero

**3rd Person POV**

BANG!

Blank (Arthur) kicked the goat-head demon lord in his knee and started his counter. The crowd witnessed his unstoppable onslaught. Imani's nose twitched as she covered her mouth for calling his name.

Imani and Fia recognized his scent and looked at him with admiration. Alanna's rabbit-kin bloodline felt excitement to procreate with him to have her little rabbit, but she took a deep breath and kept all her thoughts.

'I'm not worthy of his love, but I want to be with him.' She thought.

"???" Blank looked at Alanna and saw her expression. He smiled bitterly and reconsidered his treatment as he couldn't push away nor leave her hanging. Alanna felt his gaze, and they looked at each other. Arthur gave her a nod before he moved faster than before.

"Did he know?" She muttered to herself. Alanna looked at him in disbelief and felt heat in her stomach. She smiled with her ears waving in happiness.

BOOM!

"Gaaah!" The goad-head demon lord groaned after receiving a fatal blow to his stomach and stepped back in pain. He looked at Blank with fury before casting his death ray, but Blank tanked the damage. They looked at him in shock!

"Thanks…" Blank thanked him. The Demon Lord felt a shiver in his spine after seeing the ominous 'mana' in his fingertip before canceling them. 'Did he just learn the Death Ray after he was hit?'

"YOU…. GAH!"

BANG!

"Shhh! Don't say a word…" Blank punched his cheek while leaving behind the crack in the ground. The Demon Lord was terrified and wanted to escape, but Blank decided to end everything and took the sacred sword from his inventory.

He chants the spell. "Sheath of new end, draw for New Era! <Epoch Twilight>"

"Amazing…" Bella watches the whole scenario like she witnesses a sun phasing from sunrise to sunset in a single shot. Imani looked at her master with a star in her eyes. She muttered. "Hero."

Blank looked at the survivors and waved his hand, casting a multiple healing spell once and teleported in a different direction. Zonna sat down as she felt her hand shaking in excitement beside her Imani. Both girls witnessed his 'shhh' gesture toward them to be quiet.

"Who is he?" Zonna looked at Imani as if she knew the girl recognized the man, but Imani remained quiet with guilt on her face. Zonna shook her head and didn't ask further as she couldn't risk being hated by Imani, whose master is Arthur.

'Maybe he is Arthur? No!2x such an idea is silly. Firstly, he falls into the pit earlier and will take his time before he can return. Secondly, I admit he is strong, but isn't ridiculously strong like the man in the bird mask.' She denied. She believed Arthur was still within the border of humanity. He didn't have the strength to wrestle with the demon lord and won without sweating.

"Imani!" Fia ran toward her before she hugged her tightly. Alanna followed Fia in the back. She looked around and discovered the man already left the area and knew her master didn't want to be involved in politics.

"Fia! Imani! Alanna!" Arthur returned from the other side with his tattered clothes and hugged the girls tightly. The trio smiled and hugged him back while they smiled in happiness. Bella looked at him with a weird gaze. She is suspicious about the tattered clothes because they're all ordinary from the rare animal hide he wears daily.

STAREEE~

Arthur felt her gaze. He winked at her, and Bella blushed before helping the injured survivors. Alanna looked at her master and shook her head. He still loved to tease people around him.

"Are you guys okay?"

"Yes!"

""Mn…""

"So, What do you want to eat?"

""MEAT~!!""

Imani and Fia shouted after hearing their master's words. Alanna's ear kept twitching. Arthur saw their expression and nodded his head, he told them. "Once we leave the place. I will prepare a lot of meat and carrots, okay?"

""YEPPI!""

"Hehehe~"

Bella and Zonna looked at them with envy as they wanted to join them. Herman walked toward them and told him to visit his mansion in the Seaport City. Arthur nodded at Herman and told him about the business. They both agreed to discuss the matter later. Neo invited him to visit his place and purchase some of the slaves from his collection after he saw their situation.

A few hours later.

Arthur followed the crowd after they checked each floor for a sign of life deep within the dungeon. Unfortunately, most of them died tragically. He only managed to gather mementos from the corpses he encountered during the search and retrieval operation.

A few minutes later, they returned to the surface with the rest of the survivors from their dungeon experience. Arthur returned to the surface and looked around. He discovers a barricade around the dungeon gate.

He shrugged and followed the people for inception as one of the protocols to check if an individual was affected by the dungeon miasma.

"Clean." The inspector checked his status by using a higher quality plate officially named Seeker's Plate.
