21 The Battle Of The Giants (2)

Amidst the tumultuous battle, Lex was captivated by the primal beauty of the spectacle unfolding before him.

Here, in the heart of the untamed jungle, he witnessed a clash of titans. As the battle between the giants raged, it reached a critical turning point.

The colossal Tyranthor had managed to gain the upper hand. The ground quivered beneath its massive form as it closed on the battered Titanape.

Its serrated jaws snapped open and closed with terrifying force, its razor-sharp teeth gleaming ominously in the dappled jungle light.

With a primal roar that shook the trees, it lunged at the Titanape, its massive head aimed straight for the ape's throat.

The Titanape, weary and wounded, tried to muster its remaining strength. Its fur was matted with blood and dirt, and its once-mighty roars had grown feeble.

As a last-ditch effort, it attempted to fend off the approaching menace. But the Tyranthor was unrelenting.

It seized the ape's massive neck in its vice-like jaws, its teeth sinking deep into its fur.

The Titanape let out a final, anguished bellow as the Tyrannosaurus rex-like predator bore down with immense force.

The jungle echoed with the sounds of the battle as the dominant predator asserted its authority.

With a final, bone-crushing bite, Tyranthor overcame the Titanape's defenses. The massive ape's struggles grew weaker until, with a resounding thud, it fell to the jungle floor, defeated.

Tyranthor, its jaws stained with the Titanape's blood, let out a triumphant roar that echoed through the ancient forest.

The mighty predator had emerged victorious, proclaiming its power over its formidable opponent.

He couldn't help but be awed and humbled by the raw power and primal ferocity of nature's ancient giants.

She had witnessed a battle of epic proportions, a clash of titans that would be etched into the annals of prehistory.

As the t-rex-like monster stood over its fallen adversary, the jungle fell into an eerie silence.

The once-ferocious ape lay defeated, its reign ended by the unstoppable might of Tyranthor, the apex predator of this mystical jungle.

Lex watched the thing as he started to eat the Titanape. He couldn't watch after a while and got comfortable in the crevice before falling asleep.

By the following day, the jungle came alive with the sounds of other creatures. He looked around, the the Tyranthor was gone.

He stepped out and looked around to see the leftovers of yesterday's fight. Lex looked at this as he shook his head and started walking.

After trekking through the jungle for hours and taking out some insect-like monsters, he escaped the green hell he found himself in.

When Lex exited the jungle, he saw grasslands stretching far in the distance. He got out his map and started studying it.

He quickly found the jungle and grasslands. It showed a town was a few miles away, so he started walking.

As Lex traveled, he got a bad feeling that only worsened, causing him to take out his Gearhearts.

That's when he heard running coming, so he pointed his weapons toward him and released two mana bullets.

They flew through the grass and connected with something. Lex heard a thud as something dropped to the ground.

But something lunged from the long grass and looked like a Mountian Lion but was twisted into something evil.

Lex raised his Gearhearts to block, but the cat changed its attack direction and slashed his right leg.

He was sent tumbling to the floor as he felt his leg start to burn, but he still managed to fire at the monster, which blew it away as he jumped back up as quickly as he could.

The mana bullets slammed into the monster and blew it apart, causing blood to go everywhere.

When the dust settled, Lex saw a purple orb the size of a tennis ball and picked it up before examining it.

From what he remembered, the thing he picked up was a mana core. But when he touched it the core turned see-through as the mana was sucked into him.

That's when a notification popped up.

[Shadow Magic Learned]

Lex was confused but shrugged it off and decided to think about it when he was resting tonight but was happy he learned a new element.

He looked up at the sky and saw the sun high in the sky before he continued walking toward the town on the map.

After a few hours of walking, he saw it in the distance and quickened his pace, but as he got closer, he saw something that made his heart drop.

Hivefiends were wandering around the town as Skyfiends and Wraiths flew overhead. With a sigh, he decided to avoid the horde of monsters and circle.

By the time the sunset Lex made it to a river with an old bridge that crossed it. But he found a tree close by and climbed into it.

Lex wrapped his cloak around him as he cast Stealth Shroud on himself so he could be hidden as he got comfortable.

[Eve's POV]

When she saw Lex fly into the rushing river, she panicked, but she couldn't stop running. After sprinting through the forest, they heard fighting close by.

The two girls made it to a clearing where they saw the Gearknights and some professors killing some Hivefiends.

After finishing the last monster, Eve noticed that the knights saw them and rushed over.

When they got closer, she heard a female voice ask a question in a worried tone. ''Where is Lex Dawnstrider?''

Before she could reply, Ayla answered. ''He got washed away in the river because he saved us.''

The Gearknight sighed before rushing Eve and Ayla off to the carriages to get them back to the city before the attack.
