I'm Different From Them

Along their journey back home Adrian remained mum, biting his tongue from uttering a single word. While the radiant Su Yin sneaked glances at him, dreamily. Her long eyelashes fluttered bashfully as she smiled inwardly feeling somewhat accomplished.

'Ah~ I can't believe I'm his first kiss!'

'If that's true, then I'll be his first girlfriend..'

'Waaa~ This is so exciting!'

Su Yin was all giddy, her little brain running amock with thoughts filled with nothing but Adrian and the brief kiss shared by them at the lobby.

Screaming, jumping and singing internally, an exhilarating sensation engulfed Su Yin's senses as she thought about conquering the ice king's heart, all to herself.

It was thrilling.

The kiss - It wasn't exceptionally sweet, given Adrian's stiff personality and cold demeanor. Yet Su Yin felt sugary inside right now.

Peeved by the perverse glares directed at him, Adrian couldn't help but shudder internally. His blue eyes were icy cold, his gaze never straying from the dark road ahead. In his state of perturbation the grip on the steering wheel was iron like, very firm.

Adrian was feeling uneasy breathing the same air as Su Yin, especially after the kiss. He was regretting his actions earlier that resulted in him somehow getting blackmailed to drop this troublesome woman.

'Why is she staring at me like that..? Is she a lunatic?? A pervert??"

'I feel icky all over.. Is this what they call as harassment..?'

'I can't even strangle her.. She'll probably haunt me all my life!'

Contrary to Su Yin who was practically walking on air, Adrian was a little skittish thinking about their unexpected encounter tonight as well as her burning gaze fixed on him. The more he thought about it, the more restless his heart felt, as though threatening to jump out at any instant. It was terrifying.

Giving a side glance to the perfect profile of the gorgeous man behind the wheels, Su Yin couldn't help but sigh.

Taking a deep breath, Su Yin mustered all her courage and pulled a breathy smile effortlessly. Parting her glossy pink lips she had a mirthful glint in her large doe eyes.

"Do you know where I live? Or are you planning to take me to your place?"

Quirking her eyebrows playfully, Su Yin had a flirtatious smile across on her face that could easily make anyone's heart skip a beat. It was beguiling.

However, the stoic man who almost had his jumpy heart in his throat jerked in surprise at Su Yin's provocative words. His blue eyes dilating unbelievably.

"What nonsense!!"

Glaring harshly as he tried to retain his composure and making a fool out of himself, Adrian spat in irritation. His straight and thick brows knit together tightly.

Instead of crying or even appearing pitiful and wronged under Adrian's cruel and half-hearted treatment, Su Yin burst into laughter. Glistening, clear tears formed at the edge of her eyes that were perfectly defined with an eyeliner.

Adrian was perplexed faced with Su Yin's sudden gales of laughter, he couldn't understand a thing which was further aggravating.

"Haha.. You're cute"

As her bell like boisterous laughter ceased Su Yin's gaze met Adrian's blue eyes, he seemed to appear a little flustered. It was cute.

'Cute my ass!'

Obviously displeased by Su Yin's remarks, which by the way didn't sound too simple to his ears, Adrian felt indignant. He shut his mouth and cursed silently in his heart.

Seeing the unfamiliar path as the car sped in complete quietness, Su Yin furrowed her small face in confusion. A flash of light passed through her eyes, she turned around to face the man with instilled calmness.

"You didn't answer my question.. Are you really going to take me to your place, tonight?"

Twirling her long black hair in between her slender fingers coquettishly, Su Yin smiled as she asked softly.

"Shut up!"

Adrian bellowed, his gaze fixed on the road ahead refusing to meet the sly vixen's enticing front. His entire being was burning as an explicable feeling rose in hid chest, stifling.

"Hmph! You're handsome but rude.."

Trying to act cute, Su Yin crossed her arms around her well endowed bosom and harrumphed, pouting her glossy lips as thou wronged by Adrian. His eyes twitched at her statement.

When there was no reaction nor a response from Adrian's end, Su Yin toned herself down, smiling subtly. She also let a couple of awkward coughs to catch his attention but to avail.

"Girls don't like that, you know.."

Shaking her head almost defeated by Adrian's firm resolve to ignore her, Su Yin raised her head to get a clear view of his detached expression. Her tone crisp and clear.

"You're fortunate.. I'm different from them!"

Not bothering the lack of attention Su Yin shrugged her shoulders. A bright smile dancing on her lips naughtily as she grinned at Adrian.
