Demon Lord of Pride

Having made his way into the summoning room, Aki activates the ability needed to request the summoning of a demon – Satan's Spawn. He speaks the chant to summon Diablo, the Primordial Demon Lord of Pride but he doesn't appear. It takes 3 chants for Diablo to finally accept the summoning and appear within the room.

"What is it? I'm busy-" Just as Diablo was questioning the reason for his summoning; he senses a lurking danger nearby. Suddenly, no explanation is needed. Diablo grew an evil grin. "I'll deal with it, you can wait here, Aki Ide."

Diablo rounded a corner with Aki closely following, despite Diablo's suggestion, and was face to face with his soldiers – The Supreme Archdemons.

"Diablo, sir, you're already here!?" One of the soldiers asks in shock and relief. Without responding, Diablo seemingly teleports away and re-appears in front of Tone who wasn't far behind.

"You don't belong here, Celestial of Patience." He says, calmly, despite now knowing the severity of the situation. "This completely violates the peace between races, you have instigated a war."

"EH, WHO ARE YOU!?" Tone asks, almost mockingly. As she says this, Kin emerges behind her out of curiosity.

"Diablo, Primordial Demon Lord of Pride, here to kill you." Diablo responds almost mockingly.

"AHAHAHAHA, YOU? DEMON LORD? DON'T WASTE MY TIME, PATHETIC DEMON-" As Tone naively mocks Diablo, fooled by his aura masking skill, she looks down, feeling an emptiness in her chest and seeing Diablo with her heart in his hands. "W-w-what is..." Tone fell to the floor, unconscious, before she could finish her sentence. Diablo materialised a giant, burning scythe and sliced Tone into countless charred fragments, assuring her death.

Joy emerged on the soldiers faces as one of their biggest threats had been dealt with; in contrast, Kin's expression was of clear distaste and defeat. She realised that all she could do now, with her Holy skill and a lot of her MP used up, was to finish the job she started and kill the remaining Supreme Archdemons.

MP, Magic Power, is the fuel for all types of magic spells. Each Being has an MP storage embedded in their soul. This allows MP to be used for casting spells / other magic abilities, with stronger ones using more MP than weaker ones. Each Being's MP storage has a max capacity which increases as the Being increases in power. Once an amount of MP is used up, it will at some point, usually within a few hours, refill fully to max capacity. Without MP, magic is unusable and practically doesn't exist.

As Kin swiftly used the same weapon, embedded with light magic, as she did earlier to low sweep the soldiers, Diablo unleashes all of his hidden aura, revealing the true depth of his strength and how much more powerful he is than Kin, despite being only one class above her. Kin practically froze in place, unable to continue the attack.

"I-I will kill m-myself before you kill me!" Kin mutters, accepting her defeat arrogantly but fully.

"I can't let that happen, Celestial of Faith." Diablo interrupts her suicide, severing her arms with his ability Hypersonic Slash, preventing an easy way out. Diablo grabs Kin by the throat "Did She send you?" Diablo asks Kin, as if he hadn't just severely wounded her.

"Who-who is She?" Kin struggles to ask whilst being held by the neck, although she knows the answer.

"The Blinded One, your leader, I bet she said it was an order from God, didn't she?" Diablo suggests, mockingly.

"Y-you dare to mock the Celestial Commander, The True God too!?" Kin uses all her strength to yell in true disgust and fear.

"With that," Diablo speaks, "My question is answered." Diablo crushes Kins neck with his bare hands but as he does so, Kin retaliates by shooting a concentrated light magic attack out of her foot, towards the soldiers she was originally attacking. Knowing she would die, Kin put all of her MP into the attack in order to increase the speed to an amount too fast for Diablo to stop. The attack zipped towards the weakened soldiers and was about to impact when it exploded mid-air, shattering 5 layers of a barrier– Aki had put up an S class shielding spell, even though his class was only A+. This spell was just about able to stop the last-ditch attack from Kin. During this, however, she died either as a result of the intense force on her neck or from blood loss.

"Not including these... things, what are the casualties?" Diablo asks, moving on from the situation.

"Sir, almost the entirety of the city has been destroyed and we estimate the deaths alone to be... at least 75% of its population – including Kuragari and the other half of our army. The injured population is likely to be 100% of the living." The vice- commander, or new commander, of the Supreme Archdemon's informs him. "It's unbelievable how much destruction was caused in such a short time by these humans."

"75%… 12 Supremes, Kuragari too." Diablo processes the information. "What about his family, Kuragari's family?"

"We believe he and his wife died to protect their son, Shinji." The commander says.

"And where is Shinji now?" Diablo asks.

"Right over there, with the remaining celestial, Lord Diablo." Aki responds, pointing to Shinji, Kasumi and Nebula in the distant sky.

"Will he fight the celestial? The fool." Diablo sighs.

"I thought this may happen," Aki responds, "He will fight the celestial, and win" He speaks with confidence.

"What makes you say that?" Diablo asks, still staring at the distant trio.

"I mean, Shinji is immortal, after all." Aki leaks the truth to Diablo "It's undoubtable once you've seen it with your own two eyes."

Having no reason to distrust Aki and having full belief in Shinji's potential, Diablo gives a lengthy grin.

"In that case, let us watch the show."

This will be the average chapter length from now on, roughly 900 words, I do realise how big of a shift this is from the 2600 word chapter 1 :^
