Christopher had no reply for that. Actually, the truth was that his ex-girlfriend had hated being pregnant. Every symptom of pregnancy from the first kick to the first feel of the baby, Angel had seen as a threat to her future.

But, even as Christopher had accepted the truth, he had tried to empathise with Angel. After all she had clawed her way out of hell just so she could fulfill her dream. Expecting her to give it all up just so that she would live with him in the gilded golden cage called royalty would have been unfair. Of course the matter of her infidelity was a different matter...
