Another Revelation
"After all, she promised me before the marriage that she will leave soon. Aunt, please don't be sad!"
Peeping inside, Jeannie tried to hear what this 'aunt' had to say but then she noticed that Blaise wore headphones.. He seemed to have finally convinced this aunt as he happily bid goodbye to the woman and ran towards the bed.
Jeannie stepped back with a thousand questions in her head as she walked back to her room.
Why had she promised something like this to him? Was it because she wanted to console the little boy? Maybe she had hoped that he would be able to accept her after getting to know her. She couldn't be sure of her motives anymore.
