He paced the floor back and forth after he talked on the phone. He was expecting that problems would arise once he was away from his business, but it was not something he could not handle. But that was not the only problem. 

Another matter came to his attention as one of his informants shared with him another alarming development. But it was not something he anticipated. And it could turn out worse for him if he could not find a way to stop it.

He quickly dialed a number and told his friend what he wanted from him. This time, his friend should not mess up because he did not need another loose end.

"I will make it up to you. I promise." The other person on the other line responded, knowing he had erred the last time.

He dropped his phone on his bed as he undid the button on his shirt, loosening the tie around his neck. Then, he let his fingers run through his hair, feeling a headache forming on the top of his head as his temples started to throb.
