1 The Eerie Night

On an eerie night, the wind was blowing harshly, there were no stars in the sky, and everything looked dead.

For many, this is a good time to do bad things….

This night is also where big things happen, and good or bad have to wait for years to find out...

Nighttime, dark forest in an unknown place,

"My child, your parents are sorry for you, we can't give you a safe environment to grow up in, so we have to send you away; I hope you will be safe there, the little one I hope that you will grow up without any dangers or pain" A woman put her hand on the head of the toddler who was wrapped in the white cloth.

That child didn't make any sound but intensely stared at the lady, then smiled understanding whatever the lady said.

Besides the lady, there is a man whose eyes are filled with deep pain,

"I pray that you will never suffer from anything, my little love, this father of yours is incompetent that I can't even protect my own blood and flesh."

"Give me the child; we can't delay any more; if not, they will find our child, then what is waiting is inhumane torture," The man said while getting up from the floor.

They are in the hidden cave, where the lady gave birth to the child just a week ago until she was delayed from taking her child away.

Still, now she couldn't do that much as they have already gotten information that other parties have already entered the area where they are staying.

That's why the man was forcing her to hand over the child, so he could take her far away from where no one could find anything about them or their child.

"Little more, husband, I don't know if I will meet again in this life or not if I…." Before she could complete it, the man interrupted her.

"We have already delayed for a whole week, and we can't delay again, I will go find a safe place to …." The man didn't complete the sentence, but the lady understood what he was saying.

She didn't say anything, just let her husband take the child away, but her eyes were watering, and she was crying harder and harder.

Suddenly, a man stopped but didn't look back,

"You know what you have to do; I will send you to some safe place and after settling I will join; until then, please be careful."

He said very firmly, but his eyes betrayed him with the moistening at the end.

He slowly disappeared into the darkness; the lady only sat there for a while, then she took out something and looked up and said something.

Suddenly there was a small squeaky sound, she looked at that and said in a deep voice,

"You will follow my child, never let anything harm my baby, and will always follow my child."

Something flashed like a storm passed and disappeared in the same way from where the man left with the child.

After that woman looked at the way for some time, she looked in the direction of the forest entrance, where she felt a movement, then disappeared in the darkness.

Just as the lady's shadow left, several people in black clothes came; they were all like wooden statues without any emotions.

They searched the whole cave a few times, but there was nothing other than some clues about people staying there.

"Master, no one is here; this place is a little bit warm like people left just before we came here; if we chase them now, maybe we can catch them," One of the subordinates said respectively to the man in front.

That man was wearing dark blue-colored clothes that were different from everyone present, and that can be said that he was their leader.

"No need," that man said indifferently.

"Master…" Subordinate hesitated; after all, he also felt that the chance to catch them was high, and they didn't need to play this cat house game.

"Huh, where are you going to chase them? Which way? This forest is big, and this cave is at the entrance of the inner region. You should know how terrible the place is. If they have entered, we can't chase them" He sighed, looking in the direction of the center region.

"But Master, then about the resea…." The subordinates felt anxious after all; they were very near and wanted to catch those two people.

"Don't worry, if they have entered the inner region then they will have no chance to come back alive, and if they went in another way then,..... they will be caught in no time," Master said with patience, but in his eyes, there was a flash of light.

Suddenly they heard a strong roar, and the earth was also shaking, and the cave they were standing in also started to crumble.

Seeing this, the leader of them ordered,

"Leave from here as soon as possible."

With that, all of them flew towards the outside of the forest at their fastest speed. Still, they could hear roars of beasts coming from behind, which sounded in their ears.

They accelerated and ran fast; still, some got caught by animals, and their chance of survival was almost zero.

After all these hungry beasts got their feast, then why did they need to show mercy?

When others saw their brothers get caught, their first thought was to save them, but when they saw the fierce eyes of those beasts, and when those beasts ate their brothers, the remaining didn't even care about that and flew fast, so as not to get caught.

After running outside the forest,

They all came under the tree and looked back only to see those beasts didn't catch up but wandered at the forest entrance while roaring.

This made everyone sigh in relief and sit there to reaccumulate their energy.

"How can these animals come to the outer region? Aren't these animals only walking in the central and Inner regions?" One of the subordinates said, panting, and there was a tremor in his voice.

Suddenly, the whole surrounding dropped, and everyone looked at their master, only to see his face red with anger.

In anger, he punched the tree and made a big hole in it.

"Master!!?" Someone asked with shock.

"We were tricked; this isn't beast tide; rather, these animals came specially for us, maybe because we came in contact with something which makes these beasts go crazy."

Hearing this, everyone's eyes widened in shock, and they started to search their whole body and even started to sniff, but they didn't find anything suspicious; seeing this, their master snorted.

"Do you think it is easy to detect? If that is possible, I would have already found that; this thing is hard to detect, and I think we got this when we were in the cave. Damn it; if I knew we would jump into their trap, then I would have killed them when I caught them at that time; alas, they sneaked out, and now we are suffering."

"But master, then why didn't those beasts chase us after passing the forest like they are tied by something?" One of the subordinates asked in a puzzled manner.

This was the thing that made everyone wonder!!

"Haven't you guys heard about the credence of this forest? The animals of this forest cannot walk out of the forest without their destined lord's order, and no one knows who that person is." Their master answered in a fascinating voice while looking at those beasts in awe.

It isn't that he didn't try to contact those beasts and tried many methods to subdue them, but no matter what, he couldn't get appreciation from them.

It made his teeth itch in anger. He even thought of finding the person and making him his servant to use these beasts, but he couldn't find that person either.

He even felt some people had nothing to do, so older people made up these things.

"Master, what are we going to do now?" One of the subordinates asked

"I think they both have already escaped from our range, and we can't find them now. We can only wait for the news to reach us if it can be seen anywhere. Don't worry, we have people worldwide, and if they are seen, we can catch them. Now let's go back."

They all left the site in the forest.

A strange bird was sitting on the branch of the tree where they were resting and saw everything with its own eyes; after they left, it also flew inside the forest and only stopped when it reached a certain cave in the inner region of the forest.

The same woman was resting who was being searched by those men in black.

She wasn't peaceful; there was fatigue between her eyes, and there were dark circles under her eyes.

She was restless, and her brows were furrowed.

Then she felt someone's presence and slowly opened her eyes and saw the strange bird.

"You came back, are they chased out?" her hoarse voice came.

"....."

The bird said something in its bird language.

"Good, they will not enter this forest anytime soon, and we are safe here for the time being, and now I only hope that he and my child will be safe."

"...."

The bird again said something, and for that, the woman suddenly chuckled,

"I know you don't need to comfort me; you did a good job today by taking all those beasts to chase them; you are also tired; come and sleep for a while."

Tweeting, the strange bird sat on the shoulder of the woman.

Both human-animal slept peacefully, creating a beautiful yet strange picture as they were tired from all the things like being hunted down.
