454 Prelude to the Final Trial (1)

When Ji Yuan, the Great Beyond Goddess, Ling Feiyue, Yun Chi and Feng Minyue had entered through the red portal, they had found themselves overlooking a vast canyon.

Ji Yuan muttered, "So where are we? Where is the final trial? Or are we here already?"

 It did not take long for his question to be answered. 

A feminine spiritual voice soon murmured from the skies, "Welcome to the final trial. You are among the very first to have arrived. The trial will only open once three thousand cultivators have arrived."

"What? We are not allowed to enter the final trial yet?!" Ji Yuan was astonished almost to the point of speechlessness. 

The same voice answered, "Not yet. You have to wait a little longer first."

Ji Yuan asked ruefully, "What if there are never three thousand cultivators in the first place?"

"Then the trial will not open. You will all be expulsed from the Warrior Empyrean Labyrinth when the time limit is reached."
