1 Preface

The moon hung low in the night sky, casting an eerie light upon the land below. A grand, towering mansion stood alone on a hill, its windows dark and shuttered.

But inside, a different kind of darkness lurked. A man stood before a mirror, his features hidden in shadows. He watched as the light from the window flickered and danced, casting strange shapes on the walls. Then, the sound of footsteps coming from outside.

"Someone's coming," the man whispered.

As the footsteps grew louder, the man's heart began to race. The door creaked open, and a figure appeared in the doorway. It was a curvy woman, dressed in a white T shirt and Baggy Trousers, her hair a mass of dark curls. Her face was brown, and her eyes were light brown and fathomless.

She stood there, silent and still, staring at the man in the mirror. Finally, she spoke, her voice soft and warm.

"Hello, my love," she said.

The man turned to face her, his own features now illuminated by the moonlight.

"Why did you come back?" the man asked, his voice hoarse.

"Because i can," the woman replied. "You cannot hide from me."

She took a step closer, and the man could smell her perfume, sweet and heavy.

"Why have you come?" he asked once more.

"Because you need me," she said, her voice low and seductive. "You cannot live without me."

The man trembled, unsure of what to say.

"You are not safe as long as you're with me," he said at last.

The woman smiled, but it was not a kind smile, but a smile of worry.

"Oh, my love, you do not understand," she said, her voice soft and persuasive. "You cannot deny your true nature. You cannot fight who you are."

The man looked down at his hands, stained with blood.

"I don't want to be this way," he whispered.

"But you are," the woman said, her voice cold and unyielding.

"You were born to be a monster, and you cannot change that."

The man looked up, his eyes filled with coldness.

"Because i was born that way doesn't mean I should stay that way" he said.

She raised her hand to his cheek, lightly brushing it against his lips. Her hands seductively went from his face to his chest.

Then he held her hand and looked in her eyes with all the coldness inside his.

"Leave" he said.

And he walked away.

She stood there, brewing with different emotions. She was confused, a stunned look on her face but also a face of wonder and intrigue... she stood there for a few minutes before walking out of the house.
