Chapter 7: Hanging out with the real dad

Jonathan's P.O.V

After my recovery, I resumed my role as a leader and went to the war room

"What have I missed?" I asked them

"Your armies have been doing far greater than us and they have pushed the cult's armies to the kararagi same goes to Cusleko." a general said

"Good, we just need to push them to kararagi and they would have nowhere to go and the Shinobis and samurai will join us and finish them off." I told them

The meeting was over and it was night time and I was about to sleep before I hear a whisper calling my name

"Jonathan." it sounded like it came the outside but I shrugged as it's just the wind

"Jonathan Lakewood." I said my real full name

"Ok, who the hell is that?" I asked but no answer came so I open the window and I saw a man with white hair and a white skin with red eyes wearing blue coat.

"Alucard?" I asked but he just walked into the streets

"Hey wait up!" I said but he didn't respond

I followed him to a nearby inn and now saw him sitting alone at the inn as the lights we're on

'Must've scared everyone off.' I thought and went behind the bar

"Need a drink, Alucard?" I asked

"So you know my name?" He said to my surprise

"How do you know my name?" I asked

"That is no matter, what matters is that you're safe and your going home." He said

"You're not my dad." I told him as I pour a drink to him

Silence fills the room 'Wait, HE'S my dad?' I then walked to him then slapped him 3 times

"What was that for?!" he asked in confusion

"One, that's for leaving me. Two, that's for not raising me. Three, that's for not asking me how I've been." I told him

"Aren't you mad?" he asked

"I will if you don't tell me a story about you and mom and the reason why you didn't came and raise me." I said as I sat down, listening to what he says

"Alright then." He sighs as he took the beer that I poured for him and drank

"It began long ago where I was teleported to the future, I had to hide from people that wanted my power. They almost got me but I was healed by the beautiful woman I ever saw, her name was Amanda Lakewood and she was the only person that didn't think of me as a monster." He stopped to sip his drink and continued.

"I was finished with my quest to kill all those who seek my blood and was living a married life with your mother. You were born but you 're not a vampire and it was weird since you have a vampire's blood and his abilities but something makes you different than the rest of us." He then looked at me as he took a sip

"You were immune." he said but I wasn't surprised

"Not surprised?" he asked

"Yeah, no wonder I can jump and run fast but I didn't know I could do that but can I turn to a bunch of bats?" I asked him

"I don't think you can." He said

"Well if I became a bunch of bats to fly then I would like to teach you." I told him

"Thank you." He said

"So what happened to mom?" I asked and I saw him hesitate but he answered me anyway.

"She died trying to save me from the humans that called the police because I was giving blood to you and thought you need blood to make you a vampire." He said as he drank it all. and I patted his back

"It's not your fault, you needed blood." I told him.

"She promised me to keep you safe so follow me and you leave this life behind." He said as he got out of his seat as he walked to the door but stopped.

"Aren't you coming?" he asked irritably.

"No, I don't think I will." I told him

"what do you mean?!" He asked in an angered voice

"I promised a girl I really like to never leave her behind and I want to save this world." I said and he got more angrier but stayed calm

"Lets get her and leave thi-"

"Nope." I cut him off

"I WILL NOT-" I then cut him off again by hugging him

"I know you lost a lot but you ain't losing me because I'm powerful. Actually, overpowered but whatever the point is that I will never place until I have fulfill that promise even if it cost my life" I told him and he was on tears

"Please, I beg of you, I can't lose you too." He begged hugging me tighter

"You sound like a mom more than a dad." I told him and we laughed

"Look, I'll be ok. I've taken care of myself since I was alone for a long ass time ok?" I told him and he just nod

"Just be careful, ok?" He asked

"Yeah, I will. Now get out of here before the knights come." I told him

He then disappeared before the knights came and burst in

"What happened here- My lord!" He then quickly kneeled and the other followed.

"Did you happen to know where this vampire is?!" He asked

"Nope, I checked but no one was here." I told them

"False alarm then? Sorry for the intrusion, my lord." He said

"No worries." I said as I sat down, drinking rum.
