Kurishma dashed to the tree lines before exiting it and slashing at the kobold again from behind.

The leader noticed and parrying the attack with great difficulty before stabbing its weapon to Kurishima's abdomen.

'Tsk, that sword is troublesome.' Kurishima jumped away before the sword could reach him and just stood there without his smirk. 'This guy is smart...I shouldn't underestimate him.'

Kurishima narrowed his eyes before throwing a knife directly at the leaders eye.

It widens its eyes before barely blocking it with its great sword and backs away with a few minions behind it.

Kurishima turned his smirk to a wide smile before he throws more knives at their direction.

The Kobold leader prepares to block them but they zip past him like a blur.

The kobold leader look behind him only to see his comrades standing their with knives on their foreheads.

They all fall down simultaneously with a few still twitching here and there. The kobold leader looked at the unknown person with fear but soon turned into anger.

The leader growled at Kurishima but he just stood there with his wide smile and now closed eyes before a light zip past the leader and kurishima was not at his spot anymore.

The leader looked behind it and sees Kurishima walking away from him with his scythe dripping a little bit of blood.

The Kobold leader looks down on its body before a large cut slowly forms and a burst of blood exit its body as its upper torso separates from its lower half and landing on the ground with a heavy thud still with its wide eyes not knowing what happened.

Kurishima stops at his tracks staring widely at the panel before him. 'Elite? not the leader? That means...'

That was all kurishima manage to think before he suddenly crashed into a group of trees with his mind still dazed.

5 Corrupted guardians encircle the True leader of the kobolds but before any of them can move the Kobold leader already swung its huge mace and bashed the head of a nearby guardian.

The others looked at each other before charging in. The 1st guardian latched itself behind the hulking beast and held its left arm while another held its right arm.

Another guardian stabbed its claws on the abdomen of the leader but was ripped apart from its limbs to its head and withering away.

Kurishima slowly stood up from his spot with a bit of difficulty while holding his stomach which was bleeding a bit.

A soldier tried to help Kurishima but was hold by his shoulder from his superior.

The soldier just looked at his captain who shook his head while one of the village child who was a demi-human Wolf who was looking at Kurishima.

Kurishima looked at the child before a sudden headache made him almost fall again. "J-jack." That name kept on repeating on his head. 'Who is Jack?'

Sudden burst of a memory appeared on his mind. 'Son...papa is coming home soon.'

Kurishima widen his eyes before he looked at the child that was still looking at him with a curious gaze.

Kurishima smiled at the child's direction but his hood was up so his smile didn't show before walking towards the Leader with new light in his eyes. 'I have a son in my last life...'

Kurishima tightens his grip on his scythe while the system suddenly showed a panel.

After a while with moving the kobolds bodies away while the tree guardians kurishima came with just followed the wagon he was in.

The soldiers felt that they were a danger but thought not of it because they came with kurishima.

"Mommy, why does he look like an elf?" A little girl asked while her mother who was a neko looked at her daughter who had a curious look and chubby cheeks making her look a little more cuter. "Well my little flower, he might be from a nearby shadow elf tribe for all we know."
