Chapter 2-Wishes?

I could sense nothing... It was complete darkness. No amount of mental struggle could open my eyes or move my limbs until I realised I couldn't even feel any of the anyway.

As I lost sense of time I was quite indignant. Was god mad I dodged his petty attempt to kill me or something?

At least I'm not dead, I can tell that much but it is kinda weird literally unable to feel any parts of your body. At least my mind is okay able to think I thought ruefully with a nonexistant smirk.

After an unknown amount of time I felt something stirring inside me. A brief tingling of warmth arose as the first thing I had felt since my death. I felt a brief flash of light then I heard someone mutter "How strange this one hasn't lost his memories"

Regaining his senses of his body Itachi opened his eyes which showed a grand hall filled with white marble stone that led to a golden chair with purple cushions on which a blue robed woman with red hair sat looking at him with an expression of amusement(think Ariadoa's appearance from the cautious hero anime). "Young one you were about to enter the cycle of reincarnation, but I noticed how your soul completely recalls all your memories which should have been lost after death"

Itachi was quite surprised at this statement. Maybe it had something to do with how intelligent he was preventing the loss of his memories, but nevertheless he was glad because losing his memory would be annoying.

In all honesty he was quite happy at this change events because he at least confirmed the existence of higher beings such as gods along the theory of reincarnation being in fact true. it was almost as if practically commiting suicide was worth it.

Just as he was about to ask about something on his mind the angel said "I am the great goddess sarias and I can read your mind. These sort of things don't happen often, but I can make an exception because it would be a shame to wipe away the memories of someone as strange as you are. Other realms including those in anime do exists and I can put you in one of those words along with giving you a few cheats."

If Itachi was surprised before now he was completely shocked at this. Not only was she letting him retain his memories, but she was also putting him in a world of his choosing giving him a few cheats. He was a little skeptical, but he saw no reason she would lie to him after all, it would not be difficult at all for a higher being to completely wipe him from existence and he was completely at her mercy.

Another surprising thing was the existence of anime realms. It almost makes you wonder if they already existed, or if some passing god after watching anime on earth decided to recreate it for their own viewing pleasure. Pulling his thoughts out of his head he returned his gaze to the smiling goddess looking amused as if she had heard all his previous thoughts. "I will give you five wishes to start off in this world. Nothing too overpowered such as 'give me spell leveled cultivation' but I can give you a lot of potential to become the strongest in that world.

Also please keep your wishes related to the world. No I'm not going to give you the rinnegan from Naruto or other similar things. The crossover of these thing is strictly regulated, so while I can slip you into this world with your memories I can only give you things related to this world. I will fuse your soul with Mo Fans the day before magic high school starts, since I find your current personality frightening to say the least. Maybe merging with him will make you less of a apathetic sociopath. I hope you will not be a loner this time" she said gazing at him seriously as if it was her responsibility to make this human act like like a normie so he actually makes relationships with others.

"Start thinking of different wishes and I will tell you if it is possible for me to grant."

Itachi had his head wrapped around in thought about what abilities would give him the most advantages? She pretty much told him he can't start off with cultivation but can give potential such as natural talents in the series such as the dual elements that mo fan has or that fire guy from the university who had 2x casting speed.

While he didn't like the idea of having his soul fused it would at least give him memories of that world making it less strange. He was concerned how he would be affected however since the goddess seemed to be planning to change his personality.

Going back to what he would do for his wishes, he remembered all the different talents as there was even a talent list ranking different talents you can have. Itachi figured he would take a few of them along with making them more powerful, but within reasonable limit.

He wondered which ones he should pick. He wanted to have many elements, but the downsides was a slower cultivation speed since he would divide his time between them. On the other hand he could fix this with the little loach pendant that he could fix this.

"Alright, my first wish I wish to have the final evolution of the little loach pendant with 1000% cultivation speed and already having the ability to upgrade stars with the contained souls." The goddess replied I can upgrade it early but only to 100% cultivation speed along with the ability to contain the souls and fragments of hunted monsters to upgrade the stars with beast souls enhancing his attack power.

The percentage going higher depends on how many monsters you hunt. Itachi was annoyed at this, but it was still a lot faster than the 20% cultivation speed the MC originally had at the start of the series.

This should give him plenty of time to prepare for the Bo city incident. He had to remind himself that this wasn't a anime anymore. These were real people and although he was far from having a hero complex, it would be cruel of him to let them all die. Besides he could get all the souls from the monsters early on to start upgrading his stars.

"My next wish is to have innate three elements"

Sarial looked at him thoughtfully "It's not unheard of to initially awake 3 elements but it would bring a lot of attention and instead of just getting 3 initially you would get three every new tier. It's best if you hide 2 or at least 1 of your elements and it should be fine. Plot armor should allow you to hide your first two elements if you don't change the timeline too much"

She had a point. The more he changed the time line the more unpredictable some events would be, but that didn't bother him too much. He would figure it out later down the road. He was not going to worry too much about causing changes since how would he achieve the adventurous life he wanted when he knew everything that was going to happen? Itachi came to this wish because he did not want to come out as too overpowered to those in that world.

Having such a fast cultivation speed might get him labeled as a threat to super of even spell magicians that he was not yet capable of fighting. He would cultivate his two other elements to the extreme while he keeps the element he shows off at a high yet reasonable level. Now he had 3 wishes and he had in mind what he should do with them.

"For my third wish I would like a natural talent of 100x recovery speed." As the third ranked natural talent this ability is not to be underestimated. If a normal mages ability to completely recover from depleted magic was 12 hours a mage with a 10x recovery speed natural talent would recover all magic in 72 minutes.

Requesting 100x recovery speed would allow him to recover in 7.2 minutes essentially making it very difficult for him to run out of magic if he doesn't blast all his magic away with how fast it recovers.

The angel responded "The highest I can give you is x40 but this doesn't change much with your recovery time being around 18 minutes." Itachi wasn't too bothered by this. With each of his elements having its own mana pool he would have plenty, and after he gets a few more elements he could rotate between them firing high level spell after another without getting tired.

He thought about the mutating stars talent that upgrades stars subsequently upgrading his magic for for a certain element a few levels but he did not really need it as he could upgrade his magic through lil loach the talisman he would get upon entering the world. With it as long as he killed enough monsters he would be able to upgrade his magic stars for each star system making the magic stronger and quicker.

"Next I would like natural spirit elements that evolve along with my growth for each element I gain" This is the ability Mu Ning xue had that led to her becoming the strongest ice mage in to the world. It starts off like a normal spiritual grade seed with a 2-3.9 multiplier on the power of magic and it grows along with the user eventually surpassing the multiplier of 4 which is the soul grade.

There are various accompanying affects that can come with the spiritual seed such as increased blast radius for fire magic or increased number of projectiles for lightning. After the spirit evolves into soul grade it has a power multiplier of 4-11.9 times the normal.

It also has the potential to have a domain for an element which weakens the other elements in the area while making the element with the domain stronger and able to be cast quicker. It depletes other elemental energy in the area which can weaken other elements magic and if it is strong enough and the opponents energy is weak it can even prevent them from casting completely.

After that comes Heaven grade seeds which can only be described as completely overpowered. Coming with a multiplier of 12-30 it can allow a mid tier mage to completely destroy a high tier mage jumping a whole tier and more.

Having a heaven grade sees would bring envy from countless others as not even most spell mages have a heaven seed. All of the seeds vary within their tiers as lower on the as they range from lesser, small, and large for each category of spiritual, soul, and heaven grade seeds.

The angel said "very well that is within my capabilities. You can choose to turn on or off the effect of the spiritual seed if you need to hide it. It will advance with you breaking through soul grade when you become a mid tier mage and low heaven grade by breaking through high-tier. After you reach super tier it will have maxed out at the limit of a 30x multiplier making you stronger than most spell mages by a good bit.

"Alright for my next wish I would like an indestructible bow that I can call in and out of my soul space and the draw weight and bow weight increase as I get stronger. I can infuse my arrows with my elemental energy so they can take on varying attributes such as fire arrows burning around the wound or wind arrows being shot farther and more accurate.

The arrows appear when I draw back the bow and they disappear shortly after firing, so I don't need to worry about picking them up. Also can I convert it into a Naginata at will with a very sharp edge to cut through anything?."(Search lightning bow BO3 for an Idea how this looks in bow form and Naginata for the blade form).

Overall I was pretty happy with my wishes. I thought about getting armor, but I figured I will get it later on in the world and honestly with my perception I can pretty much avoid any attacks. I'm not going to waste a wish just to get some armor. I would much rather use the last wish for a really ability such as a strong bow that I could use whenever I to hunt monsters without even having to use magic. While it may seem hypocritical he would give himself such strong abilities when he said he wanted more of a challenge, the fact he was going to such a cool world filled with strong beings was challenge enough. He never said he wanted to be normal after all.

"That's a strange choice, but I understand where you are coming from. It is within my power as well. Arrows will take a slight amount of magic power to make, but it is pretty much negligible and your recovery rate exceeds the speed they would be consumed.

It can't be called indestructible, but I doubt anything in that world will be strong enough to break it. The blade will be very sharp and also relatively unbreakable. The the denser you make the bow when summoning it out, the more tiring it is to use and it will also be stronger.

"If that's all then welcome to the world of Quanzhi fashi. I hope you find what you have been looking for and you don't die too soon, next time I will most likely just wipe your memories to spare the effort. Maybe we will even meet again one day, but that is very unlikely. Farewell Itachi"

Itahci suddenly felt a pull on his very soul as everything vanished in a flash of light. disappearing from the grand hall as he transcended time and space and eventually he felt himself hit the ground hard face into the dirt with a fresh earthy smell. Pulling his head up he heard a soft female voice in a concerned tone say "big brother are you okay?" and thats when he knew his life was about to get much more hectic.
