13 Chapter 13-Your captain is my girl friend
Itachi after returning home thought over his next course of action. He should use his three days to cultivate in the three steps tower to try to bring as many elements as he can to the 4th tier of mid tier.
Fire, lightning, space, and wind were all at the 3rd level with space and wind being brought up recently while summon and healing were still at level two since he had been putting most his attention on the others.
He could feel his fire and lightning element surging showing signs of a breakthrough since he had been stuck at this level for a couple months ever since his last breakthrough.
Space and wind had just recently broken through and they still had a while to go. Deciding what he would do, Itachi cultivated a bit more before falling asleep.

The very next day, Itachi could be seen walking through the campus as many people stared at him. Sure enough, the hunter association made him look very good to save their own skin since they almost let 4000 people get slaughtered.
Itachi could honestly care less. He was figuring sooner or later he would come out with awakening two elements at every stage since it really wasn't too big a deal.
Ling Ling already suspected he had the initial awakening two elements since he used wind magic in front of her, and he would probably show her lightning later along with others since he was getting tired of hiding his favorite element.
Itachi walked up to the deans office to tell him he would be cultivating in the three step pass.
The three step pass was a large pyramid that had some special spatial magic some very strong mage had put inside that could stimulates one potential.
It was also filled to the brim with elemental energies that boasted cultivation speed in the different elements. Gaining the go ahead, he walked through the main campus walking up to the giant pyramid that was the dream of countless to cultivate in.
Due to the limited elemental energy, only a limited number of students could be let in per year and with how many students were in the school, it was only open to a select few.
Starting from the top 20 of the elemental schools on main campus working down to the #1 spot, there was a fierce competition to gain an increasing amount of time to cultivate here.
Only the best were allowed here and the top 10 would definitely not be a joke with spiritual grade seeds along with many other talents such as innate level four stars or double star connecting speed was just naming a few.
Most of the students near the top would be similar to Itachi with level 3 or 4 magic of their kind, but Itachi was much stronger. If one of the students of fire element had a spirit seed of a x4 effect, Itachi would have a x10 effect with just his spiritual seed alone.
Combined with his star upgrades, he already had an overwhelming advantage at low tier magic since he had upgraded the first seven stars of each of his able elements with both 7 minion souls and 7 warrior souls making it level 5 with a x4 effect
His mid tier also had an advantage with the x2 effect combined with his op soul grade seed giving him 5 times stronger magic than a simple 4x spiritual grade seed user.
He also had a domain ability that he could use to greatly weake other peoples elements in an area. Say he was facing A fire/shadow mage. He could activate his lightning domain and if the opponent did not have their own domain, their magic would be weakened depending on how strong they are.
If they were below novice than in its presence they wouldn't even be able to cast other magic.
While his lightning domain wouldn't work on other lightning mages, it wouldn't benefit them either since the domain belonged to Itachi increasing his lightning attacks power.
While he was a lot stronger than them, there was a huge gap between the main campus and the side campus, so Itachi was quite excited that he would be moving over soon.
First however he would be going the exchange to the imperial university, and he was excited to go visit. He was planning to go quite soon, but he was glad he had a good excuse to go.
Walking over to the tower he was greeted by two arrogant seniors guarding the door "Hey back it up, don't you know this areas off limits?" He said aggressively.
"I am here to cultivate" Itachi said calmly watching the two get angry "You? Cultivate here? Dot make me laugh" Itachi pulled out the recommendation form signed by the principal.
He watched the two do their very best to find an excuse to call it fake, but everything checked out as they looked at the young brat in jealousy. They guarded the door for a year just to get the chance to cultivate here, yet some brat comes forward and gets to go in right away.
One led him inside while the other one stayed outside as the one guiding did his best to avoid any explanation of the tower like he was supposed to.
Itachi already knew there were three levels to cultivate in separated by stairs between each. Walking up the stairs would slowly drain your energy under the pressure and if you did not reach the next level in time you would run out of energy effectively ruining your cultivation.
That was why the guide was supposed to warn them not to advance to the next level unless they had complete confidence in their ability to resist the pressure.
Itachi thought it was quite funny since he could already kinda guess his thoughts. He wanted Itachi to run out of energy and he couldn't even blame him too much.
I guess watching others entering and making great gains can be quite frustrating while you yourself are guarding a door.
Either way none of it affected Itachi as he made his way into the space that looked much bigger than on the outside surrounded by starry skies filled with elemental energy.
A row of golden steps led up to the first platform as he could see the 2nd and 3rd platforms in the distance with the concentration of energy getting higher as you go up.
When Itachi started walking up he could feel the increase on gravity as he started walking up. 'It seems the founder of this school who made this had a very high understanding in spatial magic Itachi thought as he could leave the spell here still working so many years later.
While it looked complicated it was essentially a advanced pressure formation and a energy formation that was very benificial for cultivation.
The gravity part could both increase your foundation with the pressure as well as prevent the weaker from advancing so they wouldn't hurt themselves with the high concentration of energy.
The physical body needed to be stronger to bear the energy and this only increased in importance as the level grew higher.
Part of the reason Itachi wasn't unstable after his quick breakthroughs was his gravity magic helping.
The other was his strong physical body that could now easily shatter rocks and bend iron.
While Itachi was very lazy most of the time he was smart enough to not neglect his training as he did light yet effective workouts under the his now x30 gravity magic that had increased with his breakthrough to 3rd level space.
As much as Itachi wishesd he could simply crush everything, stronger monsters and mages would not be affected by it, so it's most effective use would be on himself both making him lighter or heavier.
Walking up the steps he reached the first platform with no effort. Even if it was strong, he could just negate it with his own gravity magic, but he didn't need it at all since his physique could almost be compared to a commander.
Feeling the increased elemental energy, he could tell it would be a big help, so he climbed up the rest of the way to the third platform as he began cultivating.
His fire and lightning elements were the first to advance as they were already on the edge of the third level. The surging lightning and fire energy flew around as the star clouds for both those elements expanded a bit holding an increased amount of magic.
He could feel his accompanying spirits evolving too as they reached the limit of soul grade moving up to a staggering x12 strength right next to the power of heaven grade seeds.
Unless he ran into a very strong opponent he didn't really plan to use them since with his star upgrades alone he was already quite the overkill.
While it may seem like a small level it was anything but that as he unlocked the magic that would soon become one of his strongest abilities. Starting with fire he unlocked the final level of the mid tier magic the Flaming Dragon attack.
Just as the name sounds a giant destructive
fiery dragon would shoot out his fist obliterating everything in his path. At full strength with his spiritual seed it was truly a formidable force stronger than first stage super tier fire magic.
Lightning had a similarly destructive ability yet it also had quite the use. Lightning was typically a single target element with one bolt per target, yet he gained a new ability called chain shot that sent a destructive bolt chaining through as many enemies as possible if they were standing nearby.
If used on a horde of low tier monsters it would shred through The group killing hundreds while it would still be a destructive bolt even if only used on one target.
His energy underwent a qualitative changes and he figured out how to cause energy to arc between targets and he figured out he could shoot it on the ground controlling it to create an electric field shocking anything fiercely that came close.
This would be very good for holding back enemies and he could control the voltage with a lot of precision.
After undergoing both of those breakthroughs he spent another day bringing his space up to level 4 increasing his gravity control to x40 and his control over space increased. It had taken a lot longer than the previous two as he had spent less time advancing it up.
Next up was his wind that similarity took a bit over a day with his tornados getting a lot stronger with thousands of wind blades tearing monsters apart inside the cyclone with the wind spirit similarity increasing to a x 12 effect along with it already having a wind domain.
While it wasn't very strong combined with his lowering of gravity around him Itachi could almost fly as he could send blasting of wind behind him shooting him forward at a breakneck speed.
With the last 6 hours of his stay he brought both his healing and summon element up to mid tier level 3 with a decent boost in his self healing ability along with more control over what he summoned and how strong it was.
Itachi could probably summon a commander from his draft if he focused enough, but the energy drain would be a lot more. Also after Kayda had started her advancement Itachi remembered about Felix the Sand Fox so he decided to give him the beast refinement blood, bone and the soul of the darkwing wolf so he could Increase its rank into commander.
Making his way down he walked past the guards without a glance as he was quite excited with his gains.
He was quite excited to see his girlfriend again and he was glad their school had drawn the imperial university. Every year, the schools would have exchanges and they were unlucky drawing the #1 ranked school in China.
Director xiao for the most part wanted to show off by having Itachi completely destroy the opposition because most of the time, the imperial university was a lot stronger situated in the capital.
The other members were as following:
One of them was Zhao Manyan
The other was Mu Nujiao, the wind/plant mid tier mage from the competion
One was Song Xia
Zheng Bingxiao, his previous summon element classmate
Luo Song and Shen Mingxiao
The Healing Element student, Bai Tingting, and another student called Peng Liang.
Itachi wondered if he should just destroy the other team by himself or let his team get some experience. Itachi didn't care too much either way and if they were too weak it would be boring so he hoped their were some stronger opponents there.
Gu Han was responsible for leading the group of students while Qiu Yuhua was responsible for speaking.
They took a train to the capital as Itachi took in the sight around. The Great Wall of chine was visible and it was more of a tourist spot since humanity had long since developed past that point pushing back the monsters.
It was quite funny watching how nervous the others were around him which wasn't surprising considering they had been completely annihilated by his draft beast, let alone his terrifying dragon that nearly killed multiple people.
Itachi could help be impressed seeing the the majestic view of the Imperial university which was indeed a lot larger with many lakes and forests included in its large school grounds.
They were all assigned too their dormitories and they were quite spacious as mid tier mages such as their team was qualified to stay in these large rooms.
Tommorow they would not only be facing the imperial college team 6 other teams.
The first match was Imperial team against some another school and the next would be the Pearl Institute vs Imperial later in the morning.
Itachi cultivated throughout the night before walking down to meet with the team choosing to come the latest he possibly could.
He walked into the tense atmosphere watching the almost fighting Luo Song and Xu dalong.
Interestingly enough they were doing 4 on 4 team battles so it should be a lot less boring than 1 on 1. There were also 2 4 vs 4 matches.
Itachi wasn't in the first round, the Pearl Institute began by sending out Shen Xiaoming, Luo Song, Peng Liang, and Zhao Manyan.
The battle began to start as the ref shouted "Fair conditions! For this Team Battle, all Magical Equipments and Tools cannot be used."
Itachi was annoyed at this. If they didn't have magic equipment they would last even shorter and that would be no fun.
Since his team already knew about fire and summon, Itachi would use lightning and wind just for the fun of it because it would be quite funny to see their shocked faces.
He figured it would be easiest this way since he wanted them to tell everyone because honestly he was already hiding enough elements and at the very least he wanted 4 ready to use even when many people were around.
They had a fierce battle with both sides being of similar strength, but Itachi could tell the opponents had the edge since they had a lot better teamwork. Sure enough they lost as Shen Mingxiao walked off the stage yelling at the shadow element Ping Ling how it was his fault.
Itachi honestly couldn't stand this guy as he seemed to blame everyone but himself. He even went up to the director complaining how he should let him fight again since he didn't get to show his full strength.
The other summon student Zhiang Benxiao was even nice enough to give up his spot as he swaggered over to Itachi, Mu Nu Jiao, and Song Xia. "You better listen to my commands so we don't lose again"
Itachi smirked a bit"Arn't you the one who lost the first one" stuttering angrily he said "who do you think you are? I haven't even see you before"
Itachi face palmed at this as Mu Nu Jiao sniggered. Who tf was thsi idiot? What hole had he popped out of" Song Xia whispered into his ear as his face changed from shock to horror. He had just offended the guy who had a dragon as a contract pet.
Ignoring the rest of the conversation he looked over towards the other team. The captai was coordinating who to send "Lu Zhenghe, Ming Cong, Xiao Jinhe and Xiao Feng. The four of you can go. If the Pearl Institute only has that little ability, then the four of you will be enough to deal with them," Lu Yiming said with a smile.
Teacher, let me go." At that moment, a beautiful voice, like an ice crystal bell, was heard coming from the parasol outside.
When the girl walked out, she not only got the full attention of all of the people of the Imperial College, but even the students and teachers from other universities!
She was stunningly beautiful with long silky white hair along with her curvaceous body being hugged by a Snow White windbreaker.
"Ningxue, they're not enough for you to come out. We can take care of them on our own," Lu Zhenghe immediately greeted her, the smile on his face filled with the intention of currying favor.
That's right, the captain of the Imperial team was the beautiful Mu Ning xue who had advanced rapidly through the academy with her strong wind and Ice magic. At this point, her natural spirit seed had already broken through the soul seed grade and it was showing early signs of preparing to develop a domain.
Even if Xu Dalong, Lu Zhenghe, and Liao Mingxuan were quite arrogant, they would still act like a lackey when facing their Captain, Mu Ningxue.
She stepped out as all the males on Itachis team immediately began drooling. Both teams stepped forward as Itachi slightly hid behind his teammate. As they still bickered, Zhao manyan said "If I could be with that girl I would even cripple my own cultivation along with giving. All my wealth"
Smirking Itachi loudly said "Their captain is my girlfriend" Turning to see who had dared say that Xu Dalong shouted "How da-" as he was interrupted by a running beauty pushing him aside
"You Should Have Told Me You Were Coming" she shouted jumping into Itachi's arms kissing him deeply as jaws around the arena dropped in shock.
