Itachi Takahashi from a young age could be called different from his peers. Whether it be sports or academics he was unnaturally talented, yet he put no real effort in either. He could often be found sleeping, watching anime, or reading light novels which were his favorite activities.

Even though he slept in class he always got perfect grades shocking his peers and parents alike. Why you may ask? Because he had a IQ of 250. Photographic memory/eidetic memory he had it all with god like perception and reaction speeds to match it.

Sports such as kendo were a walk in the park as all the opponents were instantly seen through like they were in slow motion. This coupled with his highly intelligent calculating mind made this too easy as he was.

He was also unmatched at games. From calculating all the moves he could make in a chess match to his perfect timing in MMO's he was unbeatable. He was quite famous in the video game world especially from a year ago when he entered a famous call of duty tournament filled with many pro players registered as Itachi.

From the beginning till the end he won matches with little to no deaths with most due to running out of ammo. Finally in the final free for all match at the top of the bracket filled with some of the best players worldwide he won the match with a staggering KD rate of 30 kills and two deaths. Having a reaction speed of less than 0.05 seconds did help a little after all

Breezing through elementary and middle school with perfect grades by age 10 he was labeled a prodigy with several news articles in Japan making stories about him much to the surprise of his parents Hiroto and Taiga Takahashi. They were shocked to have given birth to such a prodigy as neither of them were much of a genius.

To be honest Itachi never really was that close with his parents. They often paraded around bragging about their prodigious son while he never wanted any attention. With his overpowered memory Itachi already memorized many subjects to a college level along with learning many other languages such as English and Mandarin by the time he was 10 already. By this point he never had to study for anything as he already knew it all.

Itachi filled his boredom by pursuing many different hobbies. After he discovered anime and light novels he consumed an endless amount of both as he was entranced by the fantasy worlds inside. He loved animes such as Naruto Dragon ball Z along with his favorite being animes with a magic school type feel. His favorite by far was surprisingly a Chinese anime called Versatile mage.

Previously he had low expectations for Chinese anime, but Versatile mage along with other titles such as Kings Avatar and Daily life of the immortal king peaked his interests showing that some of them are just as good as Japanese anime.

The anime was surprisingly good with the fascinating idea of a modern civilization in a world of magic surrounded by dangerous beasts making Itachi wish he could live in such an adventurous world. He discovered the light novel to the anime and he devoured the chapters as he watched the main protagonist Mo Fan from a talent-less boy raised in a poor household to a god like entity with strong enough magic to level whole cities.

His highschool life passed smoothly enough. little in life could interest him as he found most things too easy. Already the ace of the prestigious Kaisei academy he carried the team to a national level in kendo as he was unstoppable. Picked up as a random interest he surprised everyone as his reflexes combined with his overpowered comprehension ability lead him quickly become top in the league.

Soon however he grew bored as all the wasted time practicing techniques he already knew lead to him quitting as he soon lost interest in the sport altogether.

Although he dropped Keno, he soon grew very fascinated with martial arts as he commonly read or watched about them in many different sources. Although he may be very young at 12 years old his 5 '9 lean muscular frame often made him look far past his age. His choppy black hair and deep blue irises held a strange attraction as he was already a sought after by many older girls at the highschool he currently attended.

In all honesty if it wasn't for his parents insisting he go to meet other people at school, he would have already skipped it altogether to keep advancing most likely to college, and what he would do after that he had no idea. Throughout his childhood he was mostly an introvert not that he was afraid of social interaction, but more like he disdained it. He couldn't be bothered to deal with the other children as his intelligence made him often annoyed at the stupidness of his peers. Many would fawn over him for his grades and athleticism while others would be jealous over his achievements.

To Itachi he ignored them all the same. After his initial interest was peaked he requested from his parents to learn some martial arts. His father readily approved of the idea as his son rarely took an interest in anything and although he was athletic he never did anything with it besides his brief history with kendo which lasted for a while before Itachi quit.

His parents excited to see Itachi's interest hired Damon Kurt, a 45 year old ex special forces American who lived had served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was a grisly man with his towering 6'2 frame covered in scars. Coming back to his life from the war he had returned to Japan where his mothers side came from as he spoke both Japanese and English fluently.

He reputable well known body guard and self defense instructor to more often wealthy patrons. Although not considered rich. Itachi's parents were considerably well off from their business, and their love for their son convinced them to pay out the hefty sum to hire one of the best of the best to teach their son.

Over the past few weeks Itachi learned along from many different techniques from Damon. They were often simple yet deadly with no unnecessary moves. Damon and Itachi often sparred as was taught knife skills and self defense moves such as defending yourself from armed attackers barehanded. Itachi researched many different martial arts as he experimented with different techniques he found.

He also trained in knife throwing and could soon hit targets very consistently within a 20 meter range. Surprisingly enough he also picked up Archery his natural talent combined with his perception quickly made him a dealdy force. After consistently hitting dead center all the way up to a staggering 90 yards he practiced multi shots where 3 different arrows accurately up to 30 meters with less power.

His talent and perception shocked Damon as although his skills were unrefined and slow at the beginning, he improved at a monstrous rate. His reaction speed was equally shocking as with no formal training he could dodge many of his advanced techniques by a hair's breadth limiting any unnecessary movement striking back with a ferocity astonishing the tough vet as he had to put more and more effort to hold Itachi back as he improved.

Soon picking up different fighting techniques he could give Damon a run for his money his 5'9 150 pound frame producing a shocking force for a 12 year old and Damon knew that this kid had the potential to become one of the best fighters in the world if he continued on this course.

The previously lazy kid soon trained almost everyday with his strict regiment of 100 pushups, 100 sit-ups. 100 squats, and a 10 km run as he studied multiple martial arts such as jujitsu mixed martial arts. He continued his hobbies of anime and light novels in his spare time and 2 years quickly passed as he finished up highschool preparing to move on to college.

Now a 14 Itachi had little to interest him

Training under Damon he could soon destroy him after half a year despite the height and weight difference. He could dodge all Damon's swift moves with little to no effort as he targeted many different weak spots striking without mercy. His cold calculating eyes resembling a predator locked on to its prey.

His knife skills were also top notch as he danced around his instructor with the nimbleness of a cat avoiding direct blows deflecting Damon's attacks. Waiting for patiently for an opening.

Itachi deflected all the blows choosing to avoid direct confrontation with the stronger man when he suddenly leapt forward as Damon overextended on one of his swings giving Itachi the chance to bypass the extended arm shooting out his arm bringing the the sharp edge of the 12 inch stainless steel army knife to the edge of Damon's neck.

"Its over" Itachi he stated removing the knife and returning it its leather sheaf watching as the old vet gulped at the closeness to death as the sharp edge pressed into the soft flesh on his neck any movement able to draw blood.

-Sigh-

Damon let out a deep breath in relief as the knife was brought away. Itachi turned around and calmly walked to the edge of the sparring ring before saying with his back turned to the instructor whom he had sparred with every day for the past 6 months and said "Thank you for the help, your training has been quite good. I'm call you later if I ever want to spar" Turning away, he quickly left the training facility wondering what he should do next. Pick up another type? It was actually quite intriuging. Sadly it is still nothing special in a age with guns and there isn't even any conflict so what's the point in the first place. Sport? Just like that another period of time passed by through his relatively unexciting high school life.

Itachi spent the rest of his highschool life struggling to find anything that interested him and he continued to spent most of his time discovering more anime and light novels. He even even went as far as to read cultivation novels 1000's of chapters long such as I shall seal the Heavens, or Library of Heavens path which he loved both of.

He still loved the versatile mage series as he read all 3200 chapters over 4 times, and despite Mo Fan's somewhat perverted nature he still liked the guy as an MC since he didn't seem to have arrogant Chinese mc syndrome like many other cultivation novels. Although it was sometimes annoying watching him fall into a few easily avoidable situations overall he was quite smart for an MC. Anyway putting his thoughts aside Itachi idly glanced at the clock ticking down nearing the end of his lackluster highschool adventures.

He actually finished highschool even though he had no real need to due to him already knowing everything. He did try to make friends with people to appease his mother, but he found most of them boring and not worth his time.

Despite a few girls asking him out he was quite uninterested as he struggled to find a girl he actually had any liked. He wasn't gay but he still couldn't find one that he could stand. Comically, he was known as the ice prince by many and he got severe Kiba vibes at that title. He limited most interactions often keeping to himself. All of this mattered little to him though because although he did train sometimes he retained his lazy habits, and he tended to sleep in class ignoring most of the lessons.

Most of this was because he would rather spend the night consuming anime and light novels while sleeping in the day. Notice how he didn't say manga? Yeah that's right I said it, manga is worse than anime and light novels although there are a few really good ones that he did check out over the years.

Many teachers would try to pick him for answered as almost some sort of revenge for his lazy behavior, yet he would always wake up unflustered and answer the question before promptly falling asleep almost in a comical fashion making all but the most persistent teachers accept defeat to just let the him nap.

Walking out of school on the last day in the stream of chatting highschool students Itachi looked around the beautiful campus filled deep vibrant trees and grassy hills with a somewhat lazy expression. To some, highschool would be one of the most important time of their lives where they experience most significant changes, but to Itachi this place was just a bother in the way of other things he could be doing.

He had no idea what he would do the rest of his life. He was intelligent enough for pretty much any job. He could become a lawyer, a scientist, a doctor, or many other high skill jobs, but in reality he wasn't interested in any of that. Walking down the steps and out the gate he walked past some random girl with AirPods in her ears crossing the road. Remembering it was his classmate he struggled to remember her name for a second.

Mikasa, wasn't that her name? Itachi never really bothered with his classmates and it was surprising to himself that he even recalled her name. *Sigh "whatever, I should head home" he muttered

Suddenly a truck came speeding around the corner followed by the wails of a siren almost as if to answer his calls. The truck driver seemingly oblivious to the passerby's ahead sped up quickly approaching the unaware Mikasa who's loud obnoxious k-pop music was blasting through her headphones with Itachi faintly able to hear "I'm tHiNkInG mIkU MiKU OoEe-Ooo" which prevented her from hearing literally anything around her.

Sprinting across like the athletic weeb he is, he pushed her out of the way narrowly dodging the speeding truck as he whipped around with a good ole two fingered Salut "Oii fuck you pussy" he shouted at the oblivious driver.

Not taking me today truck-Kun he thought victoriously maybe later but not today. At least I saved someone though that has to be some good karma right? but his thoughts were interrupted by Mikasa screaming behind him "What's wrong with you now" he muttered annoyed turning around to see her looking at the sky in fear

"Hmm WHAT THE FU-" that's all he got before the meteor smashed into the ground obliterating himself along with the rest of the city. He had a brief second faced with a fiery red filling his vision before everything turned black. His final thoughts were 'I guess Truck-Kim gets the final laugh after all'
