Chapter 3 – The History of the World

One year after Ender's Birth

In a room full of books the baby Ender is currently sitting down looking in front of a book of the gods of this world.

In the beginning there was only one god Haki. The god was the embodiment of everything. Haki had everything but one thing… someone else to be with. So Haki decided to spit itself into create everything he could and other could that could watch over his creations. With an explosion the world was created and with it the gods

The gods were born from the nature of the around them. The first to be created were the elemental gods to keep the world in balance. The water god Aquarine, the fire god Furimus, Earth god Gerid, the wind god Yale, the light god Arc, and the darkness god Corelia were swiftly created to watch the world.

However even though everything was created It was still bare. Bare as no life was on the world so the gods thought of their parent and copied Haki. The gods began by trying to combine bits and pieces of each other and toss it onto the world. With that the world started to have plants, mountains, volcanoes, plains, rivers, and many more. However there was still no complex life so the gods decided to put more energy together and with that the first life was born. The life had no form but instead of tossing the life onto the land the gods first decided to given more life so the first were not lonely. The gods created and created until they were exhausted

When the gods were done they did not toss the life but gently placed the life on and in the land, water, forests, plains, volcanoes, mountains, air, and all places they could touch. With that the elves, dwarves, giants, dragons, beast-men demons, and of course the humans. There were many more were created as well.

Just like the gods they began to look creatures just like themselves to look after each other. When the gods saw this they were satisfied with their creation and decided to rest. The creatures knew that the gods had given life to them but did not know who was their true creator so they asked the gods to please make subordinate gods for them to worship. The gods thought about it and agreed. But they were too weak so they decided to do the same as Haki and split themselves up and combine pieces to create gods that could fit their creations.

Like their creation the gods they believed in started to begin to be created. The god of the elements, the god of the forest, the god the mountains, the gods of the animals, the gods of insects, the gods of the complex creatures such as elves, dwarves, giants, dragons, phoenixes, and the humans as well as many more. With that the more gods were created and life prospered for a long time.

Peace reined for a long time until the gods of the complex creatures noticed the more they were worshiped the stronger they became. With that they spurred their worshippers to create more of their kind. However they did not want the other gods to become stronger as well so they decided to tell their worshippers to stop the other gods worshippers. However that only just incited more fighting and not just the creatures but with the gods. This became to known as the First Holy War.

The gods started to create factions within each other and began fighting. The first of the gods to die were actually the gods of the complex creatures because they were the strongest and lead the war. Their bodies were completely destroyed and would not be able to recover. Just like the gods the creatures were also wounded and tired by the time the gods that were left. So the remaining gods decided that they would separate the creatures to where they would live and from then on the gods would not directly interfere with the creatures. The gods would also save the gods remains and use them later to make more gods that could be helpful to them but restrict them.

The elves were to go the deep forests, dragons were to the mountain top, the beasts the outer forests, the beast-men to the planes, and the demon were to the dark lands. The humans however were hurt the most from the war were scattered across the world by the gods.

Like so the world continued to prosper in peace for thousands of years. However all things came to an end and this end came 10000 years ago. For the gods noticed that within the demons a person of leadership was born and this king had an unquenchable hunger to dominate the world. The Demon King had began to gather the worlds' creatures under him and began killing those that did not follow him.

The gods were worried for if the Demon King were to rule he could destroy all life afterwards. However, the gods could not descend directly onto the world so they decided to choose 7 Heroes that would go against them. The leader of the group the human Hero Ramus Cragheart, the elven princess Ilyrana Glynmenor, the dwarf craftsman Thradgrumlir Ashmaster, the assassin Viliey Fima, the lion beast-man Mamulgors Gorepelt, the barbarian Brogfell Harback, and the wizard Mythica Ollewyn. To ensure they would make their way to the Demon King safely the Heroes were blessed with weapons that they could use. These Heroes fought against all creatures that sided with the Demon King while gathering like minded creatures as well.

After many years of fighting they carved a path a path to the Demon King and fought. After an arduous battle the Heroes were able to defeat the Demon king bringing peace to the land. The Heroes' weapons were destroyed with the battle however the their lives were safe. The creatures that fought with the Demon king escaped even after being chased however they still linger on the continent. The Heroes decided however with the Demon king's fall the creatures would fall eventually. Once they returned to their homes they split the lands that the demon king controlled with all the creatures that fought with them. Thus ending what was known as the Second Holy war and bringing prosperous life for another 10000 years.

As the toddler Ender read the book tears started to fall down his cheeks. He touched his cheek to feel the warm but cold tears continued to fall down. A thought came to his head as looked at the tear in his hand, "Victory is written by the winners."

He thought of his past life of the Demon King Izrath when the creatures before him came as refugees when they were tossed out of their homes. Lifeforms that could not fit into the society that the others were created. Where they were removed because they were weak. As the leader he took them in and told them they should fight back to take what they should have. He taught them, trained them, and kept them safe. In return the creatures taught him all their knowledge and specialties as thanks. But his strength was still not enough.

The gods intervened to get rid of those that did not follow their rules. The gods the true rulers wanted a place that looked the same sent prophets to guide those to dispel those that did not look good enough.

With the gods help the fall of the 'imperfect creatures' were set in stone.

"However, I, the Demon King Izrath, did not die, I am now Ender Maelstrom. I may not be a demon any more but I will be king again and bring peace to all the creatures that were under me. I will all those put their trust in my." Ender thought in his mind.

The door to the room full of books was opened with Millie walking in. Millie was shocked to see the toddler Ender crying so she rushed up to pick him up and bringing him into her embrace. "What's wrong Ender? What scared you?"

Ender realized he was still crying so he tried his best to stop before saying, "Scary book."

Millie picked up the book and read the cover, "The history of the world and Heroes that protected it." Placing the book on a higher shelf she brought Ender out of the room.

Millie comforted Ender by saying, "The book is about a long time ago so you do not have to worry about that anymore. Mom and dad will protect you."

The baby Ender nodded before hugging onto Millie. But deep in his mind he thought to himself one thing, "I have to become strong again… No, I have to become even stronger then back then. I have to become strong enough to fight the gods. But I need to do it one step at a time."
