Chapter 12 - Killing Monsters

Rachel, gathered us students together to fight the threats behind the door.

This will be my first battle.

I was not scared but rather excited but as if I could be scared with my Black Heart talent.

I stood alongside the soldiers and my comrades, their number in the tens of thousands standing in an orderly formation, ready for battle.

I stand in the front row due to my strength, alongside Ayoub, Mohammed, Emma, Rachel and Arthur.

As the only S-class in town right now as the others have gone on a business trip to negotiate with the other races.

Rachel ruled the battlefield like a true queen.

In the distance, I can see my enemies, perfectly forming a real battle line. Boasting a full set of metal armor and towering shields, they stood in a disciplined manner, watching them advance I took two potions, a potion to restore mana and a potion for my health.

I am finally ready for the battle against the monsters.

Seeing the monsters getting closer and closer, Rachel pulled out her rapier and shouted, "Attack!" »

She led us and sliced through hundreds of monsters in one shot but there are thousands of them and it feels like the monsters keep coming back.

I ran around, slicing mobs, slashing, stabbing for a good 20 mins but they were all tier E mobs so too weak for me.

I finally came across a C rank monster, it's going to be difficult for me.

I flipped back to dodge the monster's deathblow.

He responded by stabbing me and I narrowly dodged as I dropped to the ground, a strand of my hair was cut off.

After this attack, my mana is exhausted and another monster charged towards me so I didn't have time to take a mana recovery potion.

I sliced it in half with my spear and my pure strength because my draconian energy is empty too and in the system, there is none to restore the draconian energy at least not for the moment.

After the death of the other monster, two other monsters came to get me, but I slashed them again with my pure strength, my arms hurt, my right arm is broken but after three hours of battles, we have finally managed to repel the first wave of monsters.

Rachel called us back to go back to town and rest while the monsters come back.

"Madame Rachel, I think we should set some traps, I have some that can help us kill the monsters."

"Good idea, indeed, but do you have enough trap?" »

"Yes, I'll bring them from my room"

I came back from my room with two huge bags that weigh two tons each.

I actually bought the traps from the system store but didn't want to reveal my secret.

These are mini mines that explode on contact with monsters and they are not expensive but work very well.
