1 In Captivity of the Celestial Empire

In truth, the Qin era was mysterious and brutal. Through harsh customs and quiet tears under the moon, love, hatred, and many new discoveries kept numerous secrets in the Celestial Empire, revealing the secret given not to everyone through the centuries.

Why did everything turn out this way in the world?

The Qin era. The second generation of the Celestial Empire.

The Guanmin clan conquered the neighboring territories of the Chinese land and began to seize parts of modern Europe. Thousands of prisoners of other nationalities were sold to various clans and villages in the Celestial Empire.

The Sunlin Clan.

The import of about 3000 captives did not bypass the imperial palace.

People looked with disgust at the fair-skinned children, with huge water and green eyes, light hair like the sun, and strange protruding noses. This was considered true deformity. Racism thrived.

Yuemin (meaning "bright jade, jasper") received his name when he was a captive. All slaves were renamed. It so happened that he ended up in a group of children sold from the nearest clan as a workforce for Sunlin and was the only foreigner whom everyone tried to stay away from and despised at first sight.

It was a group of children of future swordsmen, for entertaining fights to the death in front of the nobility.

At that time, Yuemin was 5 years old when he already faced the fact that children did not want to play with him, he got the smallest portions of food, as if leftovers, he was most often beaten by the guards and pushed away by the children. He had a worn-out cotton jacket, and there was not even anything to shelter in the winter night. And everyone slept in an old building, a former kitchen annex at the imperial palace.

Yuemin shivered from the cold, and of course, he got sick from such terrible conditions, no one was going to treat him because everything was based on the principle - the strongest survives. That winter, about 5 children died, their bodies were thrown right in front of the barn, wrapped in worn-out cotton jackets to be burned later.

- Useless trash!

One of the guards said, taking the last body from another's hands.

Yanlin had never seen foreigners before; only Chinese servants worked at the palace, who passed on their work from generation to generation, and the only opportunity was to run into the palace territory to the future swordsmen to take a look at that very person.

When the emperor's son entered - everyone was sleeping, Yanlin immediately noticed the child, the only one without shelter, in convulsions and sleeping under a hole in the roof.

The little future emperor was 7 years old, and being a more or less reasonable child, he felt sorry for the poor guy. He did not see anything terrible in his appearance; on the contrary, he was very interested in the wheat-colored strands, although they were dirty. Yanlin touched them with interest, and the child suddenly woke up.

Opening his huge green eyes, he was very frightened, seeing the magnificently dressed gentleman, usually such people allowed themselves to ridicule him even more, and never hesitated to kick or slap, even spit.

Quickly from horror, widening his eyes, the blonde pressed himself against the wall, expecting that he would be cut with a sword any moment. Yanlin just said:

- Your eyes are like emeralds!

He smiled and took off his fur coat, wrapping the mysterious child. And hurried to leave before his disappearance was noticed.

As suddenly the guards burst into the barn, seeing the expensive clothes of the emperor's son on some ragamuffin, they thought he stole them and began to approach the child with swords at their belts.
