Chapter 5(My Enemy)
Nathan was able to find a night time job at Kings hotel. It wasn't really much different from his former work place. It was the same old story; work your self out, receive all possible insults but don't react and lastly get your paltry pay.
He was already used to all these. Nathan was always very occupied, from school to work and then to library before leaving for his hostel despite all this he was still one of the top students in the school.
It didn't take long for Ethan to adapt, he is a ladies guy coupled with his wealth. He is also very social. Since his return his mind has been set on Mabel her childhood crush.
He checked his time it was already time, he has a date with Mabel for they were already seeing each other.
He dressed up in a very nice outfit, he drip to kill. He was stunning. He hopped into one of his many cars and headed to Mabel's residence.
It was just a stone throw from his apartment to Mabel's own, both resides in Imperial street.
'Pimp! pooo! pooo!' he horned his car.
Just then a beautiful damsel, Mabel wearing a nice black gown stepped down the stairs to his car. Ethan was already outside his car ready to open the door for her in a gentleman way. They side kissed and left for their hotel reservation in Kings hotel.
They were welcomed and was immediately referred to a position were they were to be served.
"Nathan please go and take orders of those guys in table 102. I am kinda busy now"
A middle aged lady commanded.
He judiciously approached the table. He appears to be in high spirit as he made funny moves in accordance to the song emanating from his borrowed earphone.
"Welcome sir and ma..." he pauses as he sees Mabel and immediately he recognize Ethan.
He continued
"please take your orders" he asked politely.
"Babe what will you like to have?" Ethan asked romantically as he holds her hand. This really discomforted Mabel but she played along.
Nathan was almost close to losing it but he kept his cool. As he served them Ethan immediately recognized him "you look familiar, the weird guy from the party right?".
"Yeah, Nathan O'Neal by name" as he brought out his hand for a handshake.
Ethan looked at him with a look that said it all, a very awful stare. Nathan was embarrassed so he took back the handshake gesture and left.
Throughout they stay there he kept a close look at them. He knew that if he do not act on time he will surely lose the love of his life.

After his many attempts to reach out for Mabel failed he optioned to go to her apartment at Imperial street . After his class he trekked all the way from Liberty street to Imperial street. it is close to one hour journey.
On reaching there, he met the security operatives, an elderly man and a very young boy.
"How can we help you?" the elderly man asked in a calm voice.
"I want to see somebody here"
"Do this person have a name?" the younger one asked in a grave tone.
"Miss Mabel Jones" Nathan replied
the two guards looked at him from head to toe, his shoe was nearly absolved by dirt and dust, his poor outfit was drenched with his body sweat and he looked very unkept.
"Man your kinds are not wanted here please go back to where ever you are coming from" the older guard pleaded though it sounded harsh to Nathan.
"Sir please this is an urgent issue, please allow me to enter"
just then a Lamborghini Aventador SV arrived and halted waiting for the guards to open the gate. As he passes through the gate he stopped again and this time infront of the helpless and frustrated Nathan.
The car owner alighted from the car and to the chargrin of Nathan it was Ethan Queen.
He looked at Nathan in demeaning way
"What the fuck is he doing here?"
he asked the guards. Without waiting for any reply he told them to take him away from the premises that he is a nuisance and should never be allowed in the street premise. They obeyed immediately and chased him away.
Nathan felt bad, he has already exhausted his time and energy but yet it was a dead end. He trekked back to his hostel weak and tired
Ethan on the other hand noticed the surprising connection between the two and right there he knew that he must act fast although he believes that the boy do not stand a chance against him.
He can crush him with just a phone call. Ethan was one who never liked competition no matter the ability and capacity of the opponent he may face, he always get whatever he wants.
Ethan hatred for Nathan grew day by day just remembering makes him unhappy. Ethan is a person who allows his emotions and his perceived insecurities to get better of him. It is one of his flaws. he acts and reacts with his heart but not with his mind.

Ethan sure of the backing of his parents paid an unannounced visit to Mrs Gena. On hearing about his motive she was very happy but frowned when she was told by Ethan that Nathan is an obstacle for him.
"How my son?" she asked with a confuse look.
"I think both of them are dating"
Hahaha!!!
she laughed loud but came to stop when she saw the serious look on Ethan's face.
"Are you serious? I think you are overestimating they intimacy " she claimed.
"I doubt it ma, I think it is very obvious "
"He can't do that, No! he won't have the balls" she stood her firm although she had her doubts .
"Don't worry son she's all yours. He can't even fend for himself let alone having something to do with my daughter" she reassures him.
She continued "he doesn't stand a chance".
As he left Mrs Gena became very angry, she has suspected their intimacy but have overlooked it. It was all happening under her nose all this while. The thought of it made her unhappy and cheated
She promised her self to deal with Nathan for he had the bold temerity to go near her daughter.
