" What type of simulation do you want this time? Is it a herd simulation or a combination type? " Asked the operator of the simulation room.

" I want to try the principal's test" he replied.

" What? You do know that you only have one chance for it?"

" Yeah, I know."

" Are you completely sure?"

He didn't reply but nodded his head with complete surety.

" Fine then. Let me read your task objective." He then went through the system and opened the special folder which had his special test.

After opening everything was revealed.

" Your objective in this test is to prevent the complete Annihilation of the city from Monster invasion.

Following are the parameters for you:

You are the chief strategist if the city and has similar power as your original world. You will be facing a grade 5 rank invasion.

You will only have 5 Spirit Warrior, 50 grandmasters and 500 masters along with 5000 warriors in your command.

You have to protect the city from the invasion whose most probable total number is one hundred thousand monsters.

With twice the number of spirit and grandmaster level in the horde ie, there are 10 grade V monster and 100 grade IV monster.

You will be provided with long-range spirit gun cannon along with few battle droids of grandmaster tier and multiple power armor for combat which are only applicable for ones before grandmaster stage monster.

As for what other things you may require you must list them

These things can't exceed level 2 ie things which could barely take out a non classed monster.

And finally, the total civilian population in the city is 40 million. You can't use them to fight the battle. But for the battle preparation, you can use about 23 million of them.

Rest are small kids and old people who are the much good at physical works.

Finally, you are given a week time for siege preparation and your time limit for task completion is 10 days.

So in three days time, you have to terminate all the target."

After reading all the things written on the introduction about the task, he asked Daniel," Is there any questions?"

" What are the job distribution of the civilians and the fighters units I currently possess?"

" You have engineer, architect, doctors, scientists as well as teachers in this. There are also smelters, builders and workers in the group.

There are nearly 10 million workers who have experience of factory, machinery, and construction.

You have 400, 000 engineers, one hundred thousand doctors, five thousand scientists, and about two million teachers.

Rests are smelters and creators of small things.

Also, these engineer ate mech designer and doctors have knowledge of monster physiology. Only these information are listed about the residents of the city."

" Anything else?"

" What is the geographic position of the city?"

" The city has a cliff at it's south and there is free grassland in the north so we can observe anything within the ten-kilometer area in that direction.

But the west and east have some difference.

The west side of the city has dense outcropping one kilometer away from the city wall. It is so dense that you can't see anything which is shorter than three meters tall.

With camouflage, the animals can hide there too.

The east side of the city has a river which is connected to a big water source. "

The trouble increased exponentially after the river was mentioned. In ancient times the river was a source of food and connection to the world.

It was a major boon to the all but after that day of the apocalypse, it has become a danger to all.

The number of monsters in the water bodies are much more than anyone on land and their ability to hide in water and their diverse variety made things even more complicated.

" What are the defenses for the river?"

" They don't have a navy. They have the strongest defense in that direction. As for how strong only the

Grade 5 monsters could destroy it.

And others will only be blocked on this wall. There are also some big guns there which make sure that the lower monsters aren't clustered enough to take down the wall."

" Anything else?"

All the above data weren't mentioned in the manual but was directly told by the principal who put all his attention on Daniel the moment he knew that he was taking his test.

It is most important for a strategist to know their strength and possible strength of the enemy and what the landscape they have around.

Without this information, no one could erect a strong defense. The more info they have the better they can prepare.

" He knows that he is at a complete disadvantage and that's why he tries to find a breakthrough point. Now, what will his game plan be?" Principal Marcus said.

He was an old guy in a deep blue suit with a white shirt and a black tie. He was half bald and have white hair at the periphery of the head and a white mustache.

He seemed like a weak guy who can be blown away with a gust of wind but he is the strongest person in the whole city. And no one in the city dared to offend him. He is rumored to be a peak spirit warrior and also has some connection with the capital of the kingdom and even Hunter association.

" You are really excited about him, old man" Lance by his side said.

" He is someone special, Lance. I have only seen two people who had as much potential as young Daniel." He softly said with a smile.

" I know the kid is pretty good but I still can't see what so special about him? He has a sharp mind and skill but not enough compared to those too genius out there." Lance asked curiously what the principal saw in him.

" I have seen many kids in my life and yet only two made my eyes shine. You were one of the two brats I personally excavated other than your elder brother. And I wasn't wrong with both of you. You both rise when the world gave up on you. " He said without losing a smile.

" indeed if not for you I wouldn't reach this stage. But you are way too tough on him. When you guided me you also provided support and help to me but with him, you only give him task and other than stopping others from interfering his growth you didn't provide him any support.

You could give him some power core or help him with better guns and fighting skills. Yet you just train his mind and his fighting sense and not any skill or ability." Lance asked confused by his actions.

" Because his potential outshines all. The moment he is given enough resources his powers will skyrocket and he may even surpass your elder brother.

The amount of potential he has eclipsed all before him. He isn't bounded by the vision of the people around himself. Just like your older brother he yearns for the stars and will strive for it.

And at this Graduation, he will show a little show of his true potential is capable of. He is the only one in my school who I am sure could qualify for the kingdom round.

Just watch this test of his and you might see what I see in him. " The old man ended his passionate speech

"Your words sparked my interest." And he looked at the screen which currently showed Daniel.
