Chapter 2: The Academy Test

The next morning Su Li was ecstatic because for the first time he could finally leave the slums and enter the 3rd District. At the City gates were Imperial knights with high cultivation ordering the kids to enter the Testing area.

Entering the testing area Su Li was breath taken by the number of people he saw nobles, and orphans all the same.

Su Li was getting restless as in 1 hour the area had filled and was full of noise and the aura of young cultivators. As a fairly strong cultivator Su Li could feel 3 strong Aura's in different parts of the market, only 1 was strong enough to scare him.

All of a sudden 4 elders flying in the air with the wind whipping around them came out of nowhere when the first most Elder suddenly said " quiet". Everyone was silent until the first most elder walked up and said " welcome to the Academy Test. We begin now if your cultivation is below the 7th realm of body tempering you will follow General Dan but first let the test begin.

Su Li was ready to begin he waited in line for the cultivation test. Next to him was a boy who seemed to talk a lot, he walked up to Su Li and said" are you from the 3rd District". Su Li nodded his head "yes."

"I'm Xiao Chen if you need anything let me know."

The boy Xiao Chen like to talk a lot and seemed to know gossip of every kind even on important people according to Xiao Chen there were 3 people whose Cultivation surpassed the Body tempering realm and awakened their Martial Spirits.

This Xiao Chen seemed peculiar even Su Li was wary because his unreleased Aura was way stronger than his own as it resembled a tiger about to pounce on its prey.

Su Li being flabbergasted almost missed his turn after hearing Xiao Chen's latest remark. Putting his hand on the Bluestone its marks went up to 7 marking his cultivation. The administrator said, " very well go to the next stage".

What made him restless was the fact that Xiao Chen didn't take the cultivation test and continued to walk alongside him as if everything was ordinary. Pushing the thought aside Su Li continued on.

The next Test was very peculiar, according to the Instructor the picture would test his will with 5 colors in lowest to highest Blue, Green, Red, White, and Black.

Touching the picture Su Li felt his stomach jerk and with that, his vision was blurred with Red and Black colors.

After he withdrew his hand the Instructor let out a breath before announcing his mark eventually saying "Pass plus Bonus marks advanced result."

Following this, an outbreak of voices occurred.
