Chapter 15: Throne?

According to legend, there had previously existed seven people who had planned together with the destruction of the world. But thanks to the intervention of the gods, their plans were dissolved, and they had no choice but to flee to the depths of the earth.

The places of exile for the Rebels were what later came to be known as the Seven Great Labyrinths. They had probably figured out what the gods were up to behind the game board, so they got together and conspired with each other to put an end to the supremacy of this corrupt God. But God used his millions of loyal followers and set them on their ways.

Of course, 'The Rebels' were only seven existences, so even if they were strong, they could not go against the whole world. The result of this was the seven labyrinths as an escape and at the same time, a testing ground. A test of aptitude, whoever could pass the tests set by them, would receive the truths of what happened, and perhaps, even their powers, which are known as the magic of the age of the gods.

Yue's heavy eyelids opened revealing two beautiful crimson eyes, his eyelashes fluttered as he rubbed his eyes with the sleeve of the black robe he wore.

Her sleepy eyes looked up and instantly perked up.

Because Yue's head was resting on Nader's lap, the first thing that entered her field of vision naturally was Nader's beautiful face.

She looked closely at Nader's serene face. He had his eyes closed, his expressions were like the surface of an ocean, calm and untroubled.

It had been a few days since they had met. In those few days, they had cleared quite a few floors. What had grown the most, however, was the relationship between the two of them.

Initially, Nader kept his guard up all the time when he was with Yue. This was because he couldn't trust new acquaintances 100%, even if he knew Yue meant him no harm, or even if he had read their memories.

However, that dense barrier surrounding Nader had already been completely broken by Yue, who always, instead of staying away from him, curled up and slept with her head in his lap or resting on his shoulders.

As for Yue, she had already completely placed her trust and her own life in the palms of Nader's hand, who had pulled her out and released her from her dark and lonely prison.

Nader's very existence was all she had now, she considered him as her new home. Someone, she would spend her whole life with.

Yue lifted her head from Nader's lap and dribbled towards him.

She held her breath and without even blinking, brought her small, slightly flushed face close to Nader's face.

But she was unaware that a pair of narrowed eyes were watching her closely from above Nader's head.

"Kyu" the bunny hopped off Nader's head and landed on Yue's face.

Yue quickly positioned herself and grabbed the bunny by her face and pulled her to the side.

"... Annoyed rabbit". Yue hissed as she directed a sidelong glance at the bunny who squealed victoriously.

"Did something happen?" Nader asked as he opened his eyes to look at his two companions.

He was trying to learn a spiritual technique to increase his mental strength and defense but was interrupted by the movement of the two of them.

"Mmm... Nothing." Yue muttered as she dribbled towards him again while licking her lips seductively.

Nader furrowed his eyebrows, "Yue, I already told you that my blood is not normal. Even I don't know what would happen to you if you consumed it. You know that, don't you?"

"... I know." Reluctantly, Yue muttered and turned her face away.

Yue had previously bitten Nader's unsuspecting neck to suck his blood, but due to Nader's high defenses, his fangs were unable to penetrate his skin.

It was at that moment that, Nader had explained to him about his blood.

This did not mean that he did not want her to suck his blood, however, he was in an internal dilemma: he wanted Yue to take his blood because she had gone three hundred years without eating, but, a certain knot in his heart would not let her take it, he was a little worried about what would happen to her.

Nader looked at Yue who was sulking and sketched a smile.

"Someone just confirmed to me that you can drink my blood without something bad happening to you, are you okay with that?".

Yue's crimson eyes glowed with happiness before she jumped on top of Nader.

Yue settled her butt on top of Nader's lap and locked her slender legs around his waist.

"Mmm... who was that person?" She asked with a curious look.

She was aware that Nader kept many secrets on top of him, but she waited patiently for Nader to tell her all his secrets when he thinks it was right to tell about himself.

What she didn't know, however, was that Nader didn't try to hide his secrets from her, or rather, he didn't consider he past life a secret. He simply thought his past was unnecessary and boring to tell.

Although he did not consider his past life a secret, he did contain one secret that he was not willing to tell for now, and that secret is, of course: The Goddess of the Multiverse, Levana.

The reason behind this? It was because Nader more or less knew Levana's personality.

When Nader had invited Levana to descend with him, Levana had panicked, he could even glimpse her slightly embarrassed expression.

This had led him to think that Levana was not willing to let others know of her existence.

Ignoring the floating panel in front of him, Nader replied to Yue, "It's someone I know. Even if I'm here, I can keep in touch with her."

"She's a girl, why?" Nader nodded as he felt Yue's hug intensify.

"Oh? Are you jealous?". Nader teased her.

As always, Yue kept her expression stoic. However, Nader could see that her cheeks were slightly heated.

Trying to hide her bashfulness, Yue put her hairpins on Nader's lap and buried her face in Nader's neck.

No longer wanting what had happened last time to happen, Nader lowered all his body's defenses and tilted his neck to one side as he unbuttoned the collar of his shirt.

*Sniff, sniff* Yue sniffed at Nader's milky, appetizing neck.

Her crimson eyes glowed with longing and without waiting for a second, she opened her small mouth revealing her sharp fangs and buried them in Nader's neck.

"Ahhnhn~" a choked, and involuntary moan came out of Yue's mouth as he greedily sucked the white blood.

Yue's expression became blurry and her cheeks were painted red. Without a doubt, it was the most delicious thing she had ever eaten in her entire life. She thought that from now on, no food other than Nader's blood would keep her happy.

Nader hugged her frail little body letting the little vampire suck her blood to her heart's content.

However...

Soon, Yue's eyes went unfocused and her body stiffened. Her consciousness along with her body's strength faded away.

Finding it strange that Yue stopped sucking her blood, Nader grabbed her shoulders to look into her eyes.

"Yue? Hey, Yue!" he shook her by the shoulders before quickly pulling a healing potion from his Storage.

He thought something had gone wrong.

Just as he put the potion near Yue's mouth, a terrifying pressure descended from the sky, and a white barrier enclosed Yue.

Taken by surprise, both Nader and the bunny were ejected backward forcefully. This caused their bodies to be buried inside the cave wall.

The stones and walls around twenty cubic meters were pulverized, leaving around space.

Meanwhile, Yue floated in the center, still unconscious. Her small body was surrounded by a white halo that illuminated the interior of the dark cave.

Her golden hair shimmered and flowed upward like a waterfall.

Soon, the halo, the pressure along the barrier disappeared, everything had returned to normal as if nothing had happened, except for the changes around the cave.

Losing his foothold, Yue's unconscious body slumped downward.

All this had happened in just a second, so when Nader had emerged from the crack in the wall, he had only seen Yue slumping to the ground.

Using his Spatial Law, Nader disappeared from his place and went directly to take Yue in his arms.

And today, for the third time, the crimson holographic panel appeared in Nader's field of vision:
