1 Class Selection
"Azel don't gobble the food, you have all the time in the world!" A woman said amusingly to a teenager eating in front of her.
*Munch...Munch..Slurp*
"I don't want to keep Dad waiting. Besides, I've waited so long for today." Azel responds with a full mouth that he nearly chokes on.
*Sigh*
"I know you're excited but eat calmly and get ready. It's still early in the morning and your father has to do something before he meets you in the forest"
"Ok, Mom"
After breakfast, he quickly gets ready and rushes out of the house to meet his father.
His home is on the outskirts of the village, and it doesn't take long for him to be surrounded by trees.
After about 10 minutes he reaches a clearing with a fallen tree. He walks in and takes a seat on the trunk.
"I hope it doesn't take him long I can't wait to finally get a class. If I wanted to, I could do it right now, but I promised him I would do it with him." Azel thinks to himself.
In order to escape boredom while waiting. He pulls out his makeshift bow to practise some shots.
After a while he hears rustling and soon a man comes to the clearing.
"I see you're already training, Azel. Perhaps I should come back later," jokes Azel's father Arzire.
"I can't let you go this far for nothing old man. Who knows if you'll find the way again, you know what they say about old age."
"HAHA, Ok come on, I know you want to follow in my footsteps, and who knows, maybe with a bit of luck you'll become something like your old man."
"If you mean someone who lives in a dull village and wastes what little ability he has in favour of the magnificent work of feeding the cattle."
"HAHA, And how magnificent I am at it, You should see the reactions the villagers ladies give me."
"Narcissistic old man"
Arzire goes to the trunk and takes a seat on it.
"First and foremost, happy 14th birthday, my son. You are now half a man and you can finally choose your class. We both know which class you're going to choose, After all you follow your role model ME."
*Tzz*
"We've gone through this extensively, but do you still have any questions?"
"It just so happens that I have one. My attributes aren't the maximum they could be, shouldn't I wait?"
"You could do it, but it doesn't make sense in my opinion. Increasing your attributes by even one would take months to years, and the closer you approach to the limit of possibilities, the longer it takes. At the end of the day, you've squandered half your life.
In the early levels the extra attributes might help but later they wouldn't matter.
Especially from what I know, the ones you are missing are unimportant for your class and you could only increase the others by one or two with years of work"
"Mhh, ok to be sure I only need Arcane Lore level 1, Runic knowledge level 1 and the knowledge how the class works?"
"That's right."
"Ok, System class assignment."
