40 The Richman - Understanding

After going through a long conversation, Christabell and Richard finally decided to follow Christabell's wish to take care of their own baby. Given the previous babysitter resigned after making negligence which resulted in danger to Adrianna. Even though she didn't blow up the case to her husband Richard, and asked the nanny to quit her job without being convoluted, Christabell knew very well that no one could love Adrianna as much as she loved her baby.

"She almost put Adrianna in danger." Said Christabell in the end put forward the honesty and it left Richard speechless. "You remember that day when I had to go to the doctor to have my condition checked because I had anemia for days. When I came back Adrianna had a fever and her body was limp, she also had diarrhea. Apparently, her nanny neglected how to give frozen breast milk to Adrianna, she didn't heat it properly. She did not sterilize the milk bottles before use also. The doctor said maybe Adrianna had bacteria that caused her to have diarrhea. " Honestly.

"Why didn't you tell me about her negligence?" Richard asked regretfully.

"I don't want you to overreact Richard, she's an ordinary person too. She can be negligent and I tolerate it, but I can't leave my daughter in the care of someone else who might commit the same negligence or something worse than that, so please understand. This is my decision. " Christabell looked at her husband with a pleading look.

"Ok." Richard nodded before rolling his wife into his arms.

The day after the deal they got. A good news came, Charlotte contacted Richard and said that he would take a vacation in New York and stay at their house. Even though Charlote doesn't come to help take care of Adrianna, Christabell will be happy when someone else is home she can talk to.

And that day arrived, Richard even took the time to pick up Charlotte himself in his car. Charlotte was also meritorious help in Richard's process of rediscovering courage and awareness when Christabell was lost. She is the one who gives support to Richard to get up and return to fight to find his missing wife. Richard is indebted to her.

Charlotte enters the house with Richard, greeted by Christabell who's carried Adrianna on her arm.

"Hey… look, who's coming?" Said Christabell friendly. She immediately gave Charlotte a hug even though they weren't really that close. But on her return from Puerto Rico, Christabell heard a lot about this woman. She was Richard's cousin. Not cousins from the same blood, but they called that they are family.

"Finally we can meet, and look how amazing baby Adrianna is." Charlotte praised when she was finally able to carry her cousin's baby.

"I think Richard took over the whole part when baby Adrianna was created, her face looks a lot like your dude." Charlotte teased and it made Richard chuckle and Christabell grin.

"Thanks for being willing to stay for a while," said Richard.

Charlotte smiled and said, "I'll be in my office if you need me. There's a little thing " Richard said to Christabell. And Christabell will show you your room, by the way. Charlotte you can rest in your room."

"Not now please. I dont know, I just felt in love with her eyes, her pure eyes. And it's make me want to hug her all the time." Charlotte's smile stared at baby Adrianna's twinkling eyes. Her petite face and clear eyes always manage to make people who look at her fall in love at first sight. That is what might have happened to Pablo so that he became so possessive and did not want to lose baby Adrianna and his mother.

"You can take baby Adrianna to your room." Christabell smile. However, the flight from Canada to New York is not a short period of time. Charlotte still needs rest before she can enjoy stay in Richard's mansion.

"Thanks." Charlotte handed BabyAdrianna back into her mother's arms. They walked toward the large room that had been prepared for Charlotte.

"You should be enjoying your vacation in New York, and not busying yourself with baby Adrianna." Christabell looked hesitate.

"Richard called me and said you were found. I couldn't wait to see you both." Charlote smiled. "I'm here to visit you and baby Adrianna, and if you need me to help care for baby Adrianna, I'll be happy to stay." Said Charlote.

Christabell furrowed her brows, "This must be something Richard planned. He wants someone to help look after Adrianna and if I refuse to hire a babysitter, Richard calls his cousin for help. Richard Anthony, you are a man who didn't give up easily." Christabell spoke to herself. She knew that everything was planned very neatly by her husband.

"I really feel uncomfortable." Christabell was honest. "We are very troublesome for you." He said again.

"Of course not, Richard is like my own older brother to me, and helping him is a joy in itself to me," said Charlotte wile lifted the curtain covering the very large window in her room.

"I really feel bad." Christabell still felt uncomfortable for what Richard has done, asked Charlotte to go to New York just to help her taking care for Adrianna.

Charlotte turned around, she chose to sit by Christabell's side. "Lay Adrianna on the bed," Charlotte said, the woman looks cheerful and gentle at the same time, an attractive personality of a woman. She also had a warmth heart.

"I also feel bad that I only got to know you after two years of being married to Richard." honest Christabell, after laid Adrianna to the bed.

Charlotte smiled broadly. "Our family relationship is quite complicated, a little difficult for many people to understand and accept." Charlotte said.

Christabell nodded, and said softly, "Rich never told me anything about you."

"Yes, that's for sure." Charlotte smiled broadly again. "Our family is quite close, my father and father are half brothers. Even so, the life history of my father and Richard's father is also not very clear. They considered themselves siblings, and I only found out about it when I was an adult. " She said starting the story.

"My parents died in an accident, my father died at that time and my mother who was badly injured died two months after struggling to survive in the ICU," Charlotte explained, still clear of sadness in her eyes when she revealed that.

Charlotte changed her expression immediately. "Sorry, I still get carried away often when I recount the incident."

"It's ok, if it's not easy for you, you don't need to say it." Christabell gave the Charlotte a hug.

I was not old enough to live alone, and because we had no relatives, the court finally decided to leave me in an orphanage until Richard Anthony came to me and said that he's my cousin. I didn't believe in him at the fist time. I don't realize that I had reatives after my father and my mother passed away." Charlotte recalled this time her eyes filled with tears."

"He brought me to his mansion, and I met Brandon. Richard's brother, as you know. He's bad boy, but at the same time he's so attractive." Charlote said with the blushed chick.

"We were becoming friend with benefit, or something like that." She said again. Christabell was a little surprised when Charlotte mentioned that bastard Brandon.

"You know Brandon, Right?" Aksed Charlotte after looked at Christabell's expression turned grim when she heard about Brandon.

Christabell shuddered and replied, "I've met him before, but don't know him any further."

Charlotte blushed again, "He's handsome in the different way with his brother Richard. Looks like a bad guy, but he was funny, easy going, open minded, and he was a rockstar. Yes, he is indeed a bit of a crook, but he was so attractive."

"How did your relationship with Brandon end?" Asked Christabell.

"When I was eighteen I moved to Canada, and our relationship just ended. There was no grudge between us. He found joy in his world and I enjoyed my education in Canada." Charlotte said.

"Then your relationship with Richard?"

Charlotte chuckled. "Believe it or not, our age distance is far enough to make such a close relationship. First time we met is in Canada, at my father's funeral." Charlotte Said. "And after that, we meet again in Orphanage, when he picked me up to stay in New York with him and his brother, Brandon."

"He didn't talk to much, He even didn't shown at home very much. He was busy with his business since very young. He spent his time to work. I didn't had any memory with Richard at that time. He's coll like an ice, never smiled, and so old-school. He was not friend's type to be liked, I don't attracted to him at all." Charlotte smiled, "I think you know what I mean, he love his work so much."

"You are right." Said Chritsabell befure she chuckled too.
