1 Chapter 1 - Robert Perez

"From today onwards you are fired, Mr. Kyle Adams" said Robert Perez who was sitting across the desk. He was the fat owner of an online café, Moon Café, in which Kyle works as a part-time waiter.

"Boss are you sure that you have got the right person here?" Kyle frowned as he looked at him.

"Do you see anyone else over here?" Robert asked with a hint of mocking in it.

"B-but I don't think I did anything wrong, you can't just fire me like that. By working over here is the only way I can earn enough money to support my University fees. I know we haven't necessarily always been on good terms but I have always sincerely and honestly worked here" Kyle said while panicking a bit after confirming that he got the right person.

"Honestly my a**!" shouted Robert.

"Tell me what did I do wrong and what do you mean by honestly my a**?" Kyle inquired as he thought that something was wrong with the destination the conversation was heading to.

"Don't act so innocent, everybody in this café knows that you stole money from the counter in your last shift." simply said Robert.

"Who said that? Do you have any proof? I know that I am poor but don't you ever dare to say that I am a thief. I have my own morals which I would never let people like you to trample on them." said Kyle in a bit angry tone as he understood what was wrong with the way the conversation was going on.

"Oh, looks like someone has grown a few more nerves to speak to his boss in that kind of unpleasant tone and here I was trying my best to find a reason to fire you," Robert said with a satisfied face as if he saved some unnecessary trouble.

"Now I get about what exactly you are planning, you tried to scheme on me by framing me with this robbery to use it as a reason to fire me, didn't you?" Kyle said in an angry tone.

"Hoho, it seems like you are quite smart but you made such a foolish mistake by making my work easier. Now I won't even have to try to frame you since you yourself gave me a reason by arguing back to your boss." Robert said with a hint of mocking in it.

"HAHAHAHA" Kyle laughed out loudly, making Robert wonder if his mind short-circuited due to too much frustration but his next sentence made Robert totally dumbfounded.

"You think this part-time job is that good that I have to do everything to make sure that I don't lose my job? Yeah, I admit that the payout is quite good for someone like me who isn't rich and is still just a university student but I am not someone who is willing to throw away my dignity and kneel in front of someone selfish like you just like that for some extra petty money." Kyle said as his tone got more serious by every passing second. He felt satisfied by looking at Robert's dumbfounded face and thought 'Haha, you wanted to see my panicked and frustrated face but poor you. Who doesn't know that you feel happy at someone else's misfortune? As if I am going to let someone like you feel satisfied because of my misfortune. Even though I am good going to lose my job but I will make sure that at least it doesn't go the way you want it to.'

"You want to fire me? You don't have the qualifications for it but I will be kind enough and I will leave the job myself. I don't want to work at a place where there is a selfish fat pig as a boss of the workplace". said Kyle in a satisfied tone with a slight smirk on his face.

After looking at Robert's stupid looking expression for two or three seconds, Kyle turned around and walked out of the office making his way to the café's exit.

Some minutes after Kyle left the office, Robert gained his composure back and kept on repeating the words Kyle said in a repetitive manner and realizing that Kyle called him a fat pig, his face instantly became really ugly and shouted "A**hole you are a fat pig, Your whole f**king family is a fat pig, how dare you someone who is as insignificant as an ant dare call this daddy a fat pig?" even though he knew that Kyle long left the office and couldn't hear him anymore, he felt like if he didn't shout like he did, he would really vomit blood due to anger.

As Kyle was walking on a street path his facial expression looked completely different from what it was in the office. This time his face looked like it lost all its color and looked really frustrated as if his parents died. 'Damn it why did I have to go and shout at him like that even though I could just try to make the accusation of robbery false but I had to go and make sure that I was not at the losing end. I always had this problem in me since childhood that I can't silently take it when someone is trying to have a more advantaging end than me in an argument and this really ticks me off'.

Aah, it's so frustrating now that I don't have any job and I have around only 500 Zinkas(1 Zinka=0.15 USD) left in my account. It will only last me like two to three more weeks before I finish them all. Damn, I need to find a part-time job again but who would pay as much as that Moon Café? I was used to get like 750 Zinkas a month over there and at other places, the average salary is around 600 Zinkas.

'I guess I will just drink some beer until I can feel better and relaxed and anyways tomorrow is Sunday so I won't have to go to university tomorrow'. After thinking about it he went to a small restaurant which is near his university dorm. After entering the restaurant he ordered "Hey boss, please get me 7 bottles of beer and some snacks to with it. Thank you". "Sure just sit down and wait for it. By the way Kyle, did something happen? You usually don't drink that much and whenever you come to drink you usually come with Eder." said the restaurant owner, Mathew but everyone calls him Matt.

The person Matt mentioned is my roommate, Eder White and we usually come here when we wanna have a drink or something. "Ugh well, I left my job because the boss over there was being way too much of an a**hole and I couldn't take it anymore so I left the job," Kyle said in an irritated tone and in response Matt just simply nodded.

While Kyle was waiting for his order, his phone vibrated and when Kyle checked the notification was about an application being installed in his phone. He frowned because he knew he didn't download anything and neither did he click any ads. ' Hmm it's weird since I remember not downloading anything but how can an application just install in my phone just like that?'
