Break Up

Late in the evening a black car entered the gate and a man stepped out and looked up at the gallery of the room in the second floor.

Seeing two woman standing and talking to each he felt happy and content.

The two most important woman in his life were finally together in his home.

Upon sensing someone's stare on them both looked down and saw him and gave him a beautiful smile.

This type of welcome was what he had been waiting for the last ten years.

Though this was her temporary stay in his home he knew what he would be expecting and seeing upon his return to home from office everyday.

What did man need after a day in the outside was what even he craved.

All he wanted was to return back home and see his woman welcome him with a smile.

Today he was able to experience this wonderful feeling and felt content.

He was feeling greedy at this moment and did not want her to go anywhere and be here always where she belonged.

But circumstances and her character will not allow him to do what he wished but follow her wishes which was totally against what he wanted.

But today after meeting Daniel he was convinced about how to handle this situation and ensure that at the end of one year she will be free to marry him.

He believed in no one but only himself to ensure this happens.he cannot leave anything to chance

Walking inside he saw both the ladies coming down the stairs to welcome him.

Going forward he first kissed his mother's forehead and wisher her good evening and like a good and understanding mother she patted his hand once and went towards the living room and left both of them alone.

It was very rare for both of them to be alone in this house but today he finally got a chance to be with her alone even if it was for few minutes.

He went Rachel and looked into her eyes and saw peace and love for him but also regret and pain for their circumstances.

He bowed down and kissed her forehead and lingered there few seconds to lengthen the time of this kiss.

She was startled but later closed her eyes to savour this moment not knowing when next they will be able to be together .

Rachel had decided to move to one of the apartment near to Daniels office as she wanted to start her work in his company.

It was all pre arranged of her working as the project manager for their for one of their new project.

Daniel's father wanted them to work together for the next one year which could give them ample opportunity to interact and understand each other.

Steeping back from him Rachel looked up and saw Richard looking at her.

There were so many thing she wanted to tell him but now she did not have the right to tell him about her feeling's to him.

"After dinner would you like to take a walk with me in the garden?"

He tilted his head to the side and looked at her . Seeing his intense gaze on her she was feeling shy but thinking about her decision she hardened her heart and looked back at him.

She gave him a slight smile to assure him that she was fine .

Seeing the small smile on bed face he knew she wanted to tell her decision.

Holding her hand he led her to the living room.

Seeing him holding Rachel's hand all the passing servant bowed their their head to them but were happy to see this lovely couple together.

She tried pulling her hand from his grasp but Richard just held her fingers more firmly and moved towards garden.

Leading her through the cobbled path he took her to her favourite place in the garden.

In front of them was the flower bed of the pink roses which were her favourite.

Looking at them she felt close to her granny and at peace so this had become her haven in this garden.

Standing next to each other both looked at the flowers ,some were fully bloomed whereas some were still closed in their bud and some would certainly bloom fully tomorrow morning.

Taking a deep breath she turned sideways and looked at Richard's side profile.

This was the face which she had seen during his college youthful days and later the same face became chiseled and became more attractive with maturity adding fine characters to his face .

The different phases of his life all were spent with her and later he would still mature into more handsomeness and attract more girls but she was not sure whether she will still be part of his future.

When she realized and accepted her feelings for him,she had become greedy and dreamed and wanted to grow old with him.

But now looking at him she was reluctant to say her decision to him,some part of her was not ready to give up on him and told her to hold tight unto him and ask him to sort out this mess she had made.

But her upbringing was in constant clash with her greed which told her to move and leave him and not burden him .

While fighting with these conflicts in her mind,after much thought she had decided what would be best for everyone.

After closing her eyes for few seconds and gathering all her courage ,she opened her eyes filled with determination and said ,"Let's break up"
