The Reverse Villain

In a world cloaked in darkness and rife with malevolence, a singular figure emerged to pierce the shroud with a glimmer of hope. From the abyss, he rose as the beacon of light, bearing a title that would echo through eternity. In his wake, others rallied, forming a formidable league to combat the forces of evil that sought to choke the world in shadows. A decade long battle ensued, a clash between the righteous and the wicked, marked by sacrifices on both sides. Amid the ashes of conflict, a fragile peace was woven, and salvation seemed to reign. Yet, time's passage bore witness to a sinister transformation. Once-championed saviors turned power-hungry, wielding their abilities for self-serving ends, heedless of the destruction they wrought. Their malevolent acts remained veiled, concealed beneath the image of the Heroes they were once hailed to be. A cruel veil of secrecy shrouded their true nature, and any who stumbled upon their nefarious deeds were swiftly silenced, their lives extinguished to safeguard the Heroes' facade. Thus, the very evils vanquished by the initial Hero's sacrifice resurfaced, sown by the hands they believed would protect. Nine hundred years have elapsed, and the legacy for which heroes tirelessly battled to preserve has crumbled into ruin. The heroes themselves, once beacons of virtue, have succumbed to corruption, wielding their influence to perpetrate crimes and evade justice. Meanwhile, the very villains previously condemned for their malevolence now emerge as saviors, thwarting the nefarious deeds propagated by these fallen heroes. This novel delves into the obscured shadows of heroes, revealing their darker facets concealed from the public eye. It unearths the villains who counteract the malevolent actions of these heroes, yet find themselves vilified by media portrayal. It's important to bear in mind that amidst this intricate dance, not all heroes are evil, and not all villains are good. P.S - I update 5-7 times per week

Transfer Student

*Yawn*

Sean woke up much later than usual, the morning sunlight streaming into his room. He had cried himself to sleep the previous night, the weight of his emotions pushing him into a restless slumber. He glanced at the alarm clock, squinting his eyes to make out the time. It was already 9:00 am, which meant he was incredibly late for his first day of school. Classes had started at 7:00 am, and he was still in bed.

With a sudden jolt of panic, Sean threw off his blanket and swung his legs over the edge of the bed. He rubbed his eyes, trying to shake off the remnants of sleep, and forced himself to stand up. He knew he couldn't afford to miss his first day at the new school, even if the circumstances were far from ideal.

As he hurriedly pulled on a pair of jeans and a T-shirt, he heard a soft knock on his apartment door. Pausing for a moment, Sean wondered who it could be. He was only halfway dressed, with a towel haphazardly wrapped around his waist. "Sorry, who is that?" he called out, his voice tinged with shyness and a touch of irritation at the timing.

A gentle, feminine voice floated in from behind the door, "It's me, Sean. I've come to take you to school."

The voice sounded familiar, and something in Sean's heart tugged at the familiarity. His brow furrowed as he tried to place the voice. Subconsciously, he asked, "Is that you, Sarah?"

A soft chuckle followed, confirming his suspicions. "Yes, it's me," Sarah replied with warmth in her tone.

Sean's surprise grew. He remembered Sarah mentioning she was a teacher at the school, but he hadn't expected her to show up at his door, especially not when he was barely dressed. "Why are you here?" he asked, a mixture of surprise and curiosity evident in his voice. "Aren't you supposed to be at school?"

Sarah's eyes held a hint of amusement as she looked at the half-dressed boy before her. "Ain't you happy that your Noona is going to take you to school?" she asked playfully, her lips curving into a smile.

Uncomfortable with his current state of attire, Sean's response was a bit terse. "I don't need your help. I can find my own way to school."

Sarah's gaze softened, and she stepped closer, reaching out to ruffle his hair gently. "I know it's hard for you, Sean. Your dad's death, your desire for vengeance. But to achieve that vengeance, you need to get stronger. Going to school is a way for you to gain the strength you'll need."

A mixture of embarrassment and frustration swirled within Sean. He looked away, feeling exposed not just physically but emotionally as well. He mumbled, his voice almost shy, "Please take me to school. I want to get stronger, and I'll do whatever it takes to get my revenge."

Sarah's eyes glistened with empathy. She understood the pain that fueled Sean's desire for vengeance, and she felt a pang of sorrow for the young boy who had been thrust into a world of anger and grief. "Let's go to school then. We don't want you to be late on your first day," she said gently, her hand resting reassuringly on his shoulder.

In a hurry, Sean and Sarah left his apartment, the door closing behind them with a soft click.

The exterior of the school came into view as Sarah's car pulled through the gates and headed for the parking lots. The engine's hum faded as the car came to a stop, and the two figures emerged from the vehicle.

Sarah's expression turned somewhat anxious as she spoke, "I might get an earful from the principal and the headmaster. I didn't just make myself late, but now I've made you late too."

Sean offered her a sympathetic look, understanding the consequences she might face. "Don't worry. I'll explain that it's my fault you were late," he said, his voice carrying a sense of determination.

Sarah smiled at him, touched by his consideration. "Thank you, Sean. You're a good kid."

As they walked toward the school building, Sean's eyes swept over the campus. It was an imposing structure, and his nerves started to kick in. He had always struggled with stage fright, and the thought of entering a classroom filled with new faces made his heart race. He clung to Sarah's cloth, his grip tight with anxiety.

Sarah noticed his distress and gave him a reassuring pat on the back. "No need to be afraid. They're all kids your age. Maybe you'll even make some new friends."

Sean's response was tinged with a touch of bitterness. "I don't need friends. They'll just get in the way of my revenge."

Sarah's expression softened, and she sighed. "John, life is often better when we're not alone. And if you're serious about your revenge, having friends could actually help you." She paused for a moment, her gaze fixed on him. "Let's make a deal. Give school a chance, try to make friends, and I promise I'll help you on your journey to getting stronger."

Despite his initial resistance, Sean found himself considering her words. He nodded slowly, his gaze dropping to the ground. "Fine, I'll try."

A few minutes later, they arrived at the classroom. Sarah glanced at Sean, her eyes filled with encouragement. "We're here. I'll go in first and announce the new transfer student. When I give you the signal, come in and introduce yourself."

Sarah stepped into the classroom, and Sean watched as she addressed the students. Murmurs of curiosity and speculation rippled through the room. He took a deep breath, his heart pounding, and walked toward the front of the classroom.

"My name is Sean Stones," he began, his voice steady but carrying an undertone of intensity. "I'm 12 years old, and I've come to this school for one reason: to seek vengeance against the heroes who took everything from me."

As Sean finished his introduction, he turned and met Sarah's gaze. She nodded subtly, a signal that he should take his seat. Sean moved toward the empty desk, his mind a swirl of emotions. Unbeknownst to him, some of his classmates were already eyeing him with a mix of curiosity and malevolence.

A small group of students huddled together, their expressions devious. "Seek vengeance against the heroes, huh? Let's see how strong he really is," one of them whispered with a malicious grin.

As Sean settled into his seat, he had no idea that the choices he would make in the coming days would shape not only his own fate but the fate of those around him neither did he know of the plans other students had plan for him.
