Chapter 35 - New Skin

The next day, Hua drove in her new car with Rouxi to her friend's tattoo shop. It was a quaint little shop near downtown. It seemed to be bustling with activity with people going in and out.

From the looks of the shop, it was a happening place to be for a lot of young people. Hua and Rouxi noticed a lot of teenagers and young adults taking photos. There was even a model photoshoot going on one side of the building.

Rouxi whispered, "I'm a hidden investor in the business but my friend doesn't know."

Hua looked at her in surprise, "How come?"

"I've noticed many times personally that money comes between family and friends who do business together. It's not easy to balance it out so I chose to stay anonymous."

"Smart."

Rouxi waved at a tall guy as we walked in. He looked to be 6ft tall, with shoulder-length blue hair, bright eyes, a thin nose coupled with thin lips, and an oval jawline. Of course, he sported a lot of tattoos on both arms, one even visible on his neck.
