13 Little Boyfriend!

Madam Wei watched her leave and bit her tongue. Who said this girl knew nothing about fashion? Even if she wasn't an expert she certainly had some knowledge, okay?!

She almost wanted to swallow her pride and chase after the girl but... She was Madam Wei after all.

I will reach out to the girl later. I'm sure she will be very pleased to know I want to take her in as my muse!

She looked at the real miss of the Zhen family. Her face was pale and she trembled like a flower in the wind. She invoked people's pity. Indeed, education still matters, Madam Wei thought. This real miss had the bearings but unfortunately, she lacked the teachings. That other girl would always be better than her. What a pity!

Tara could feel the mocking and disdainful eyes on her. She could even hear someone tittering, "I heard she stole her sister's fiance!"

There were exclamations all around.

"Is that true?"

"Yes! I also heard it too!"

"To think she looks so innocent!"

"Indeed a mistress!"

"That's why she could only inspire such slutty clothes, the inner core of a mistress still remains in her!"

"What real young miss? I say, the fake is better!"

"Say, if she could do this to her sister, then are our men safe?"

Immediately, the ladies created a gulf around Tara. Their eyes were full of distrust.

Tara smiled wanly. These slimy people! Weren't they the ones flattering her just now? Her clenched fists hid the sight of her nails piercing into her palm.

****************

Sara whistled in delight as she strolled through the streets. Ah, what ecstasy and joy it brought her to insult pretentious people!

As she walked she examined the shops around. Bleh, she was going to look for the most expensives shops, partly because she was used to expensive fabric but most importantly....

She must spend the white lotus money!

Spend, spend, spend!

She went in and out of different stores, swiping the white lotus' card ruthlessly. She also dropped the address of the Zhen family for her clothes to be delivered there.

The joy she felt when she imagined the white lotus' pained face!

Her gaze paused on the store across from her. The glass was blurry, ensuring that you could only see the figures of the people inside but not their faces. Hmm, not bad. To go to great lengths to protect it's customer's privacy, this shop must surely be good. She lifted her legs and walked in.

And promptly ran back outside.

What! She knew she should have checked the almanac before stepping out today! Escape, she must escape!

Quickly, she lifted her legs and began to run wildly.

Ehn.....

Why was the scene around her not changing? And why couldn't she feel the firmness of the ground beneath her?

She peered down only to see her legs kicking the air wildly.

Oh no.

Turning her head she grinned at the black faced teenager holding her by the neck of her shirt. "Hello." She waved. The reflection of the sun hit his glasses, hiding his face from sight.

"Going somewhere?"

"Not at all." Sara relaxed in his hold. "Just felt the store was a bit stuffy and decided to chill out here and take in some fresh air."

"While running?"

"It's been known to help metabolism." She spouted nonsense.

The teen raised his eyebrows and smirked. "To those who don't know, they would think you saw a ghost and fled."

"Only a ghostly person will think that way. Do you? And can you please put me down?!" Sara tried to free herself from his hold but her legs just moved wildly around. This damn punk! Ruining her image!

A few aunties outside giggled at this adorable couple. The handsome boy had a cold face like someone who just caught his girlfriend doing bad. His long hands held unto the back of the girl's shirt with which he lifted her up. The other was tucked into his pocket. The petite girl in his hands had a sad pout on her lips. Her clear black eyes glistened with moisture, making her look like a bullied kitten. Even her ponytail seemed to droop down too. Her small hands clawed at the boy but he just stretched his hands to put her out of reach.

"Let me go!"

"No."

The two were so adorable that a few aunties couldn't help but take some pictures. They also advised, "Little boy, be more gentle with your girlfriend. Look at how delicate she is!"

"Aiyo, little girls like her are naturally stubborn! Don't stoop to her level!"

"Aunties, I did nothing wrong. That's just how be bulies me!" Sara took the chance to show off her skills. Her eyes reddened as she began to list each of his 'wrong doings'

"Young man!" The women looked at him reproachfully.

"It's fine aunties! They say the one who loves more suffers the most." She swiped away a tear.

"Poor girl. Here have some candy!"

"Thank you!" Sara revealed a smile that showed off her two cute canine teeth. She looked like a fox.

"Young man, we are not criticizing you, but...."

And so the Chinese aunties began their 'short' three hours speech.

************

"I never knew Young Master Lu was so patient." Sara dusted off her body. After the aunties' short speech which had left his face as black as a pot, Lu Qi carried her back into the store and threw her violently on a couch.

"Only when it comes to you."

"To me?" Sara smiled lazily. "I don't believe me and the Young Master have any bonds."

"Really? Who was calling me 'dear' just now with an extremely cute voice?" Lu Qi smirked.

"I was just borrowing some power to deal with you."

"And here I thought you actually loved me." He shook his head sadly. "After all my countless visits and tendering to you on your deathbed. Sigh. Women are fickle."

"Says the punk who almost made me jump out the window the third time!" Reminded of how this punk had dropped by every day for two months to trouble her, Sara flared up.

"I won't have let you." Lu Qi couldn't resist the sight of those plump checks jutted out due to her pout and immediately reached out his evil claws to knead her face.

Sara saw red but took deep breaths to calm herself.

"Young Master Lu, why are you here?"

"Do I need a reason to be in my own store?" He smiled arrogantly. "Such a coincidence, right?"

Sara swore inside. Indeed, she should have checked the almanac!

"Indeed! Such an unfortunate coincidence!"

Behind them, the numerous sales girls couldn't breathe for fear of being caught in the immortals fight. They inched closer to the manager and exchanged looks with him, urging him to find out who this big Buddha was that could exchange words with their Young Master.

"Go ahead and do your shopping." Lu Qi waved generously. "Or rather since you're here..." His obsessive gaze swept over her form. "I'll style you."

"No way!" This punk would probably dress her up in pink frills and laces. Despite her protests, he approached her, his glasses shining manically.

*************

The sales girls held their breath as they looked towards the dressing room. Their hearts were beating wildly and they had lovestruck expressions on their faces.

Lu Qi looked at this bunch of employees and shook his head. Seemed like he had to tell Assistant Jin to look into the quality of the employees. Atleast, he shouldn't hire such slow people anymore. Look at their foolish expression! See that one over there drooling! And that little lady holding the camera, he was sure she had taken a million pictures already. Sigh. He resumed flipping through the catalogue.

The door to the dressing room opened and the employees perked up. Lu Qi placed down the magazine in his hands. His ran his eyes over the girl that stepped out.

First came the 5 inch black leather boots. Then the long fair legs that were put on display by the short, black, flowy skirt. Next was the dark blue crop top that showed off a little bit of skin and then the black jacket draped over. Her hair was pulled out of it's ponytail to rest on her back.

"Once again, Miss is so beautiful!" The employees began to blow rainbow farts.

"She looks like a goddess!"

"I would love to die while being stepped on by Miss!"

"I would love to die poor, because I spent all my riches on Young Miss!" The manager joined in.

Lu Qi glanced at the last speaker. "Do you think you can afford to raise this kitten with your salary?"

The manager choked.

"Lu Qi. Who did you call a kitten?" Sara approached him.

"You." He didn't shy away.

"If I press this," she showed off her heels, "On your feet, what do you think would happen?"

"Exactly why it's an 'if'. There would be no chance to do so. Now on to the next clothes."

"Hey, Lu Qi! Are you a demon? I've been changing clothes for hours now, I'm hungry!"

"Then let's go for dinner."

"What we? Let me tell you, I'm going home! To my parents' house!"

"Do you even have parents?"

Sara opened her mouth wide. "You punk!" She kicked him but with a single step, he dodged, causing her to lose her balance. The brat watched her toppling about, about to fall and refused to lend a hand. Instead he took out his sketchpad and began sketching.

It was the manager that rushed to steady her. What a joke! If Master Lu's little friend fell here, he was sure he would lose his head!

"Lu Qi!" Sara was so angry she couldn't breathe.

"Stop moving your mouth so much. It's ruining my drawing."

"Lu. Qi!"
