This might come as a surprise to you, but she was supposedly a (claimed) lover of mine.

It was at the time when us gods battled with the Heavenly Demon's army, and there was Shuang Hua, who saw me, and as she was about to get killed by her own teammate by accident, I saved her, although it was out of reflex, I paid no mind to it, but she developed feelings for me apparently. Having taken enough rest, and having cried enough, she gave me the Yang Flame Pill, and helped me in regulating my qi, and also, she helped in healing me. Dawn passed, and it was morning already, by the time I finished healing up, she was gone already, leaving behind a sweet scent of lilies, and a desolate mood with it.

I decided to head down the mountains, as I try to get my priorities straight. What surprised me as I went down was that it was already back to how it was in the past.

It was bustling, it was filled with people. I was confused, it was joyful as how it was in the past, as how I knew it.

I also heard rumors swirling about the awakening of an expert. How that person destroyed part of a mountain, and that he is in the city right now. It would seem that they are talking about me.

But regardless of that, I never cared about it, although the people were giving me stares, as they were surprised as to how I, assumed as a beggar, ended up in the Imperial Capital.

I left the Imperial Capital, although the guards were surprised as to how there was a beggar who got out of the city, but they didn't care about it, since the 'beggar' was leaving the city now.

I left on a journey to the countryside, to at least have some time to think about things, and train for years at the very least.

I was wandering all alone on this lonely road, when I passed out due to the heat and exhaustion.

It was a seemingly long time, as I couldn't feel anything, everything was going numb. I thought that might be the end of my life. But I guess I was wrong. I heard voices, even before I woke up.

'.....om, ....e's .....ke! He's awa...! L...k!' a faint voice said those words, before everything was becoming clear, slowly.

'Shu.... ....p, ...u br...t!! Don't wak... him up! Look now, you're just giving him some sort of inconvenience!' with a yell, the person somehow seems to be nagging at someone else.

"Look, now what, didn't I tell you not to bother him?! Now he woke up! And it's your fault!" yelled by the woman as I woke up.

"Jeez, mom. Don't you think it was because of your nagging?" the lady retorted.

"Don't you dare talk back to me lady! You still have to wash the dishes!" the older woman replied in turn.

As I heard them bicker at each other, I tried to get up, but it seemed my efforts were futile. Severe headache and hunger immediately struck my body.

It was agonizing. The pain was indescribable, the same as how I felt during the battle.

As I looked around, I could see that the two people arguing were both mother and daughter. When the pain struck my head, I was taken aback. I yelled, as I groaned in resistance.

The mother helped me sit up as she told her daughter to get me some medicine to ease the pain. When I was fed the medicine, I felt blissful and went back to rest

As time passed, I was fed medicine in regular intervals, and after a day, I was able to fully recover.

It was noon that day, after my recovery, and the young lady walked up to me and said "Hey, you should come eat lunch with us! Mom's food is really good!!"

I was reminded of my parents when she said it, and I refused, saying that I should be ashamed, since I'm eating food with them after treating me with their utmost care.

But the girl didn't mind it, it seems that she was joyful, because someone of her age was finally in their village.

Although it was somehow vague, when the girl took me along with her, back to her home, since I was outside at that time, I saw the sign board, and it said:
